“New intensive Data Product Management course in Paris ”

4 weeks of intensive courses on data product management : from discovery to large overview. I really enjoyed my time at Artefact school of data. The welcoming atmosphere, the training conditions, and the course material was impeccable. As for the trainers, they had a high level of expertise, and were always available to answer questions and provide support. The pedagogical framework is complete, covering theory, methods, and practical cases. I suggest they include less Maths & more product management feedbacks & case studies. I definitely learned a lot & recommend this course.

“Life changing skill set”

Having now worked as a data scientist in industry for a few months, I can really appreciate how well the course content was aligned with the skills required on the job. The bootcamp gave me exposure to every aspect of the data science workflow, which gave me the confidence to dive straight into real-world challenges. Shifath, Miranda, and Jeremy were incredibly supportive and knowledgeable throughout. It was also a pleasure to return to full-time learning for three months and work closely with a small group—adding a valuable social element to the experience. I grew a lot during the bootcamp and landed a great job in data science as a result. It was money well spent.

“Hard, Long, and Challenging but Rewarding at the End”

My journey with Code Institute began unexpectedly with the 5-Day Coding Challenge. I enjoyed that brief introduction and, years later, found myself enrolling in the full course. My goal was simple yet meaningful: I wanted to gain enough knowledge in coding to teach my kids. The course was far from easy. Juggling full-time work and family responsibilities with the rigorous curriculum made it a struggle, especially in the beginning. The material was challenging, and with so many demands on my time, I often had to skip learning modules. At one point, especially during the second project, I nearly quit. However, I pushed myself to keep going, despite countless late nights and the pressure of a 12-hour workday. I eventually realized that my health was more important than any timeline, so I slowed my pace, prioritizing sustainable progress. Code Institute organized regular hackathons. I participated in several of them, which turned out to be invaluable parts of my journey. Through these events, I improved my coding abilities, learned new techniques, and gained insights from working with other team members. Looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I am no longer the beginner who once hesitated. I now feel confident in my coding skills and am grateful for the rewarding experience that Code Institute provided. It was a hard journey, but sticking with it was worth it in the end.

“Worst school i ever went!!”

I'll be very honest... I would give it a 0 if I could, I don't recommend anyone going to this school, it was the worst school I've ever attended! A complete robbery and a scheme organized with the Montepio bank! School in poor conditions, construction going on during classes, rooms with 40% more people than they said there would be, teachers not knowing how to speak Portuguese and not knowing how to explain, teachers missing days and days in a row without replacing the teacher when there were several teachers walking around smoking cigarettes, but worst of all, they paint the school pink saying that everything is very good with guaranteed work at the end of the course, classes of 20 people MAXIMUM ( mine was 30...) and when you finish we don't even have work and the support given by the placement team is a joke... simply horrible I don't advise anything, what I advise is to talk to former students who already attended the school as I even bet that 70% of them are unemployed or have left the area. Not to mention signing the contract that was done online on the school's platform, worth €6500, which should never have been done online... but even so, when we tried to get the contract already signed before, we couldn't get it, if we ask the school later they will send a completely different one with all the conditions that were not met so as not to be in breach after the course had ended. An act of clowning literally delayed my life!!!

I recently completed the Codeworks bootcamp, and I can confidently say that it was an incredibly enriching experience. While the course is undeniably intense, Brent and the other instructors strike a perfect balance between encouraging independence and providing support. I had the pleasure of meeting with Brent a few times, and each interaction reinforced how dedicated and thoughtful the teaching approach at Codeworks is. The bootcamp is demanding, but students who come in with the right mindset—curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones—will thrive. The only instances where I saw students struggle were when they weren't interested in challenging themselves beyond their existing knowledge. That said, even with my 10 years of coding experience, I found the bootcamp to be incredibly valuable. The environment at Codeworks is nothing short of inspiring. The positive atmosphere and the constant encouragement to tackle ambitious projects allowed me to grow in ways I never expected. The course is also great for beginners. Many in my cohort came in with little or no coding experience, and they thrived. The precourse material, completed as part of the application process, does an excellent job of teaching the fundamentals of JavaScript. We also spent the first few days of the bootcamp recapping this material in more detail, providing a solid foundation from which to build for the rest of the course. This approach makes the course approachable for beginners while still being challenging enough for those with more experience. At Codeworks, students also create their own projects, entirely led by themselves, which allows them to build incredible full-stack applications to add to their portfolios. These projects push their skills to a level that truly sets them apart. The experience of working on these projects closely mimics the environments developers encounter every day in the workplace, providing invaluable real-world experience. Moreover, Codeworks sets you up brilliantly to enter employment afterward if you wish to get a job in computer science. Maria runs the careers department and is available to help Codeworks alumni long after graduation. The structure of the course lends itself toward employment. Students cover the main tasks that junior developers will encounter in the workforce, making them far more attractive to employers. Not only do they develop strong individual coding abilities, but they also gain skills in writing tests and collaborating within a team on projects using industry-standard tools such as Git and GitHub. After graduation, students can choose to participate in weekly group calls to support their job search, and Maria is more than happy to do one-on-one calls when needed. The community built by the students and staff at Codeworks is outstanding. Every student learns from one another and pushes each other to get the best out of themselves. Rather than competing against one another, the students work together, exchanging ideas and knowledge. This sense of community and the drive to build everyone up creates an incredibly supportive atmosphere to enter every day. The same is true of the teacher-student relationship. It’s far more of a mentorship role than that of a typical teacher. By not even the end of the course, more like halfway through, we all felt that the staff on the course were friends and mentors. Rather than just having teachers, I now feel like I have a set of mentors who I can turn to even after finishing the course. It’s great being able to chat with them and exchange ideas and knowledge. They all have incredible depths of knowledge to draw from, and their insights are invaluable. I would recommend being in-person if at all possible, as it helps develop this relationship with the staff and fellow students, and I think these relationships are the most valuable part of the course. I was on the London campus, and it was an incredible experience. We interacted with the other campuses and remote students every day. The remote students are also incredibly well supported and had a great time, but a few admitted that they wished they had chosen to join one of the campuses. They could see how much it helped us to have a physical space and surrounding ourselves with other students and staff added another dimension to our experience. In summary, Codeworks is more than just a coding bootcamp—it’s a transformative experience. Whether you’re a beginner or have years of experience like myself, you’ll find the curriculum, the instructors, and the overall environment to be top-notch. I highly recommend Codeworks to anyone looking to take their coding skills to the next level, build strong professional relationships, and set themselves up for a successful career in tech.

“Well organized programme with great instructors”

While researching many Data Science bootcamps, most of them fully online, Constructor Academy stood out for its in-person offerings. After visiting them during one of their open-houses, I knew it was the right match for me. The instructors struck me as kind, approachable, passionate, and above all, knowledgeable. The application process was smooth and the preparation material helped establish a baseline with which to hit the ground running from day one. The curriculum is what you would expect for a high quality Data Science bootcamp in 2025 but I found it to be differentiated by the instructors, all of whom are clearly passionate about what they are teaching and all of whom were very knowledgeable and had plenty of first-hand insights on best-practices within industry. I was also pleasantly surprised by how smooth the interaction was with the colleagues who did join online due to geographical constraints and felt that they were right there with us the whole time. After an intense three months, the capstone project was a rewarding challenge to close the course with and am excited about my prospects after having acquired a new set of tools for my engineering toolbelt. Highly recommended!

“Unique experience with Ironhack Lisbon's on-site bootcamp”

I don't even know where to start describing the experience of the last 9 weeks in the IN-PERSONtial UX/UI design bootcamp at Ironhack Lisbon. The quality of the training program is unbeatable. The professionals who make up the teaching staff are of the highest level, both as teachers and as human beings. The kindness and closeness, as well as the positivism in the low moments of such an intense experience, have made that, time after, I still feel moved when I remember them. Moreover, the on-site experience of the course has been crucial for me. I could not imagine it in any other format. The quality of the transmission of the contents, as well as the coexistence with the teaching team and the rest of my classmates, both in my course and those of WebDev and Data Analysis, would not have been of such a high level and would not have exceeded my expectations if it had not been in a face-to-face format. I highly recommend this formula. It feels like a summer camp and you feel it when you leave, but in this case you don't just take friends for life, you change your professional life forever. I miss you all!

I took the Jedha’s Data Essentials bootcamp remotely (full time). The program provides a solid introduction to data analysis. The pace is intensive, but the hands-on exercises and final project make it possible to apply what you learn to a real-world problem. The instructors were also supportive and available throughout the course. A great program for anyone looking to build practical data skills and a strong foundation for further learning.

With 20 years of background in .NET development and project management, I wanted a structured and intensive path into DevOps. La Capsule delivered exactly that. The daily format works well: mornings are dedicated to new concepts, afternoons to hands-on labs in pairs (buddy) . Which encourages both technical practice and peer learning. The final two-week team project is a great way to consolidate everything in a real-world context. Joachim, our teacher, is knowledgeable, patient and genuinely available throughout. The staff is welcoming and the Paris premises are comfortable. A well-run program I'd recommend to any tech professional looking to upskill.

“Really informative and well curated”

I really learned a lot of AI related tools and products, and how to use them according to which scenario. It was really beginner friendly and introduces the topics with good depth. Generative AI module could have been lit bit more organised in terms of putting Deep Learning before NLP. All the teachers were very helpful and overall, it was a great experience.
