Every sprint had a real curriculum to work through, not a loose "figure it out yourself" structure, but inside that curriculum there was genuine creative room to bring your own idea and build it the way you actually wanted to. I ended up shipping three AI agents by the end: a career coaching tool that grounds every answer in real evidence instead of guessing, a multi tool agent for exploring Berlin's electronic music scene, and a night train planner for Europe that refuses to invent a route that doesn't exist.
It was more intense than I expected going in. This is three months of actually building, not watching videos and nodding along. What made the difference was the mentor review process, STLs reviewed my work every sprint and gave feedback that changed how I approached the next one, not just surface notes on what to fix.
