They covered the basics of design thinking, exploring your creativity, layout, scale, color, typography and more. The projects were challenging and rewarding and build up more and more as the course goes. Before you know it you have the confidence to start making your own icons and building a brand. The one thing that I didn't really like about the course was using Discord for the community aspect. I would have preferred to have used Slack as it has a more professional focus.
I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about learning UI/UX design look at starting off with DesignLab's Foundations course.

The amount of things you learn during the bootcamp can be overwhelming sometimes but it is worth it. I learned all the things one should if one is looking for a career change or is interested in this field. Of course you should not expect to be the best developer in the world after the boot camp but it does give you some very strong basics on how coding works and most importantly on how to learn to code. This means that the real journey starts after the boot camps because the boot camps is just the tip of the iceberg.
Overall if you think you could be into coding then just go for it, you will not regret it and also if you have the chance attend the last two weeks on campus.
The last two weeks on campus were just pure fun: the energy of teams and the people working at WBS was just amazing and we have also multiplied the learning by 1000% just by being on campus.
and big big big THANKS to REAGAN, our instructor who was born to teach the basics of web development. He was fantastic, kind, and patience throughout the boot camp, especially during the campus phase. I had the best time at WBS and would do it again a million times <3

I found TTS through a local networking event where a regional representative told me about the bootcamps offered, and I decided to enroll in the Full Stack Web Development course. I had the absolute best time in this course! I learned so much about front-end and back-end development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as specialized frameworks to create beautiful web pages and interactive applications. The back-end education and concepts we went over during our object-oriented programming in Java section were also incredibly valuable to me since I do not have a computer science degree. Overall, I would definitely recommend TTS to others who want to change careers or supplement their knowledge because the comprehensive nature of the bootcamp really allowed me to feel confident saying that I am now a full stack developer. Also the TTS community is extremely friendly, and they have been wonderful on a personal level.

There were about 30 people in a class and 1 instructor and 2 TAs. The course was remote and taught over Zoom used with Slack. I was able to learn multiple concepts needed to become a Full Stack Developer. We would get assignments that we were put in a breakout room to complete and get experience after the instructor finished teaching the concept. The instructors and TAs would join the rooms and help us with any difficulties.
Some other perks I found helpful was the fact that I was assigned a tutor who I could work one on one with for an hour every week, I got experience collaborating with other people on projects, I received feedback on my career materials, and I got assigned a career coach I could meet with after graduation to assist with the job search.
Only complaint I have is that some of the other people in my class were lazy and not very intelligent and wouldn't help with projects and managed to be a burden. I don't mind helping people out when they run into problems when they pay attention to what I am saying and learn. I had some people who I helped out in the Boot Camp who were genuinely trying to improve and ended up becoming better after I helped them and it made them willing to help me out but I wasted hours trying to teach certain people simple concepts that they couldn't understand after they wouldn't put any effort into the class. This isn't entirely the fault of the school as they had a process of checking the people who applied. This is something that will happen anywhere though and it is good to know how to handle situations like this in life.

They want to see every cohort succeed in their learning and you can see the labor of love that goes into teaching us, providing quality content both in the sessions and via the course site. This really sets them apart from other bootcamps, especially those provided online.
The course covers all the hot topics in the Data Science field, grounding in the perspective that the bootcamp is looking to prepare students with a broad range of experiences. This bootcamp proved to be invaluable to my growth as a web developer. The amount of support offered is incredible, from the instructors, TA's, tutors and 24/7 Ask BCS learning assistants. You never feel like you are going at it alone. Learning how to code is hard, sometimes very hard. However, the support that the bootcamp offers, in addition to learning along with your classmates is great!
I would recommend this bootcamp to anyone who needs structure and direction. It is rigorous so be prepared to spend 20-30+ hours per week outside of class learning. And understand that the learning doesn't stop when you graduate.
The majority of the course is Javascript so I would recommend using Udemy or Youtube to teach yourself the basics of Javascript before the class begins. Vivadata bootcamp is a 10 week program covering python programming, data collection, data analysis, machine learning (supervized and unsupervized), NLP, data engineering and deep learning.
I have found the content of the classes to be of high quality: written courses, video courses, exercises and corrections are accessible on their platform and remain accessible after the bootcamp. The courses are dense, oriented towards practice (lots of exercises and projects) and the pace was strong from the beginning to the end (be motivated!).
The teachers and teachers assistants are knowledgeable and very available to support students whenever questions are coming up. I enjoyed the teaching style, the playful content and engaging projects that contributes to make the challenging experience fun as well.
The cohort is kept to a maximum of 15 fellows (not always the case in other bootcamps). I appreciated that Vivadata accepted fellows from diverse backgrounds and levels of education (I’ve seen other bootcamp only accessible to fellow holding a master or PhD which is in my opinion meant to inflate their employment rate after the bootcamp) as long they show they are serious and motivated by completing the preparatory work.
While all the resources are available for free online, I am glad that I joined a bootcamp because I don’t think I would have been able to learn so much by myself in such a short amount of time. Having the support of classmates and teachers to solve issues allowed me to avoid great frustrations met when you start coding and being part of a cohort was very motivating.
I am extremely satisfied with the Vivadata’s bootcamp and I would recommend this bootcamp to someone motivated (because it requires a strong commitment) who wants to learn a lot about python and data science in a short amount of time and has for short term plan to add data skills to his/her current job/domain or long term plan (because it will require more practice and studying) to become a data scientist

I had a bit of knowledge in web development prior to enrolling in the UConn Full Stack Flex Bootcamp. I had been teaching myself through FreeCodeCamp, Udemy couI had a bit of knowledge in web development prior to enrolling in the UConn Full Stack Flex Bootcamp. I had been teaching myself through FreeCodeCamp, Udemy courses, and just reading and trying stuff on my own. While these methods gave me a decent foundation, I was having trouble understanding concepts and didn't really have any direction of what to build or do. I was also skeptical of signing up because it's a lot of money to spend if the program doesn't end up working out. In short, I wish I had enrolled in this bootcamp sooner. My instructor, Michael, (and in his absence Ross) were incredible at teaching us and helping us learn complicated topics. My TAs were wonderful as well. Nathan and Chris were always willing to meet early/stay late with us to help us with any homework or projects we were struggling with. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this bootcamp or the people who work it. While EXTREMELY fast paced, I feel I learned an incredible amount and it was worth every penny.

Before signing up, I was torn between this bootcamp and another one also in Barcelona. I interviewed with both (the application process was a bit different) and got accepted into both, so the time for me to choose arrived. Curriculum-wise, I had previously heard of JavaScript and had started its introduction course on Codecademy, but I had barely heard of Ruby (the computational language taught in the other bootcamp), so I was already more inclined to choose CodeOp. However, this was not the main reason why I decided to join them.
Firstly, I was in contact with alumni from both bootcamps: everyone who graduated from CodeOp was someone I would like to work with, super nice, and explained everything in great detail; also, I could see myself being like them, and there was a diverse representation. I also felt the sense of community I would later be a part of. At some point, I connected on LinkedIn with an old alumna from CodeOp who completed the bootcamp online from the other side of the world; when I thanked her for reposting my first project, she said (and I quote): "I try to help out as much as I can with exposure for the students at CodeOp within my international network. I've been there and want to give back to the community that got me to where I am now. It's a beautiful community, and I'm so happy to hear they continue to nurture this type of environment for people who are trying to switch careers."
The experience with people from the other bootcamp was not as pleasant; they were mostly all men (so it was hard for me to see myself represented), and I felt mansplained at some points. Also, even they were telling me I should find a bootcamp that teaches JavaScript instead of Ruby. I was about to make a huge financial effort, and that was the point at which I decided on the community I wanted to be a part of and the language I wanted to learn.
During my first days in the bootcamp, I realized I had made the right decision for me. I learned so much in such a short amount of time, and I think this is also thanks to being in such a supportive and safe environment. I got to spend every day with people who have gone through similar situations to the ones I've experienced, people who understood me. And I'm not only talking about my cohort, but also the instructors, employees, and CodeOp's CEO, Katrina. I also experienced significant personal and professional growth; I honestly feel like a different Maria from the one who started the bootcamp on July 3rd.
I can only encourage you to choose CodeOp if you're considering entering the tech field. You will not regret it.

Driven by my love for computers and technology, and the need to support my growing family with a baby on the way, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in the Ohio State University's 24-week data analysis boot camp. From the very beginning, I was immersed in learning advanced Excel, VBA, Python, and SQL, and I knew I was in for an exciting ride.
The boot camp presented challenges, but the rewards were even greater. With an amazing instructional team and round-the-clock support, including tutoring and career services, I felt supported in my pursuit of success. Just four months into the program, I received two job offers - one as a coding instructor for children and the other as a data annotation specialist in an AI startup. Both roles enriched my skills and knowledge.
Shortly after completing the boot camp, I secured a position as a data analyst for a large city. I am now moving into my first apartment with my fiancé and son, and I am incredibly grateful for the hands-on and rewarding educational experience I received. I owe my success to the wonderful instructors and team members who guided me every step of the way.
