Great Learning

I recently completed the MIT Applied AI and Data Science Program organized by Great Learning, and it was an excellent learning experience. The curriculum is well structured, covering Python, Data science, machine learning, deep learning, and Agentic AI through a combination of self-paced modules and live mentor sessions. The hands-on assignments and practical labs helped reinforce the concepts effectively. 
The AI Hackathon was a great opportunity to collaborate with peers and solve real-world problems in a competitive setting. The Capstone Project allowed me to apply the full machine learning and Agentic AI lifecycle to a business use case, significantly strengthening my practical skills. 
The mentors and Great Learning support team were knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to help. Although the program requires consistent effort, it is manageable for working professionals. Overall, I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to build practical expertise in AI and data science while earning a credential from MIT Professional Education. Read less

I had a very positive experience with the MIT Applied AI and Data Science Program. The program was well-structured, combining theoretical concepts with practical case studies that helped me understand how the material could be applied to real-world problems.

The professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and very patient when explaining complex topics. The program covered a substantial amount of content, so it was sometimes challenging to keep up. However, the learning platform made it easy to revisit lessons, recordings, and case studies whenever I needed additional review.

When I started the program, I had very limited knowledge of how to manage large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and use data to support decision-making. By the end, I had gained exposure to a wide range of analytical and machine-learning models, as well as a better understanding of which approaches are most appropriate for different business contexts and data types.

My next step will be to deepen my knowledge of the models that are most relevant to my professional goals. Nevertheless, the program provided me with a strong foundation and a clear understanding of how these models work, why they are useful, and how they can be applied.

Overall, I highly recommend the program to professionals from any industry. The tools, models, and analytical frameworks covered throughout the course can be adapted to many different sectors and business challenges. Read less

The MIT Applied AI and Data Science Program was a challenging and rewarding experience that strengthened  my understanding of Python, machine learning, deep learning, Generative AI, and practical data science applications. The hands=on projects helped me move beyond learning concepts and gave me experience applying AI techniques to real-world business problems. 

Balancing the program with a full-time career in consulting required commitment, but the experience significantly increased my confidence in working with AI and data science. I am leaving the program with stronger technical skills, a better understanding of how to connect AI solutions with business strategy, and greater motivation to continue growing my career in this field. The Great Learning (Online) – Certificate Program in Applied Generative AI by Johns Hopkins University was an outstanding learning experience. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed. The course content was current, relevant, and presented in a way that made topics easy to understand. The weekly quiz and the projects significantly enhanced the learning experience and helped reinforce the concepts.
I would also like to recognize Surbhi, the Program Manager, for her exceptional support throughout the program. She was incredibly proactive, responsive, and always willing to help. Her excellent communication, timely updates, and dedication to ensuring participants had a seamless experience made a meaningful difference. Honestly had the best experience with Great learning. Really liked the course material and the curriculum; and Mentored learning session with Mr. Sarfraz helped a lot in clearing the doubts. Also Ms. Sakshi Raghav helped me throughout the course whenever I needed her help with assignments and quizzes, she clarified my doubts regarding submission criterias and had been very kind. I am extremely happy with the Applied Generative AI course offered by Johns Hopkins University through the Great Learning platform. The program exceeded my expectations and provided a strong foundation in modern Generative AI concepts.Each week introduced new topics with practical, real-world examples that encouraged me to think about how these technologies can be implemented in enterprise environments.  Overall, I had a memorable experience with the MIT IDSS AI & Data Science Program course. Keeping the pace with the weekly assignments was crucial. However, I am grateful for the thorough and detailed lectures (videos and meetings) and material I studied throughout the course so that I could gain the strong understanding I now have regarding how to use artificial intelligence and use it to supercharge operations with data science in the real world. I am also thankful for the encouragement that I have received from faculty like my mentors and my program manager. The hands-on Python notebook projects were my favorite part of the course. They challenged me to sharpen my Python, AI, problem-solving, and analytical skills in a way that makes me competitive in the data science and programming fields. I am nearing the completion of this outstanding training program, and it has been an incredibly rewarding journey.The learning curve was steep, but the knowledge and hands-on experience I gained have taken my understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning to a whole new level.
