Throughout the program, I had the opportunity to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds who shared similar goals and interests in AI and machine learning. The supportive environment from Instructors and logistics team, peer discussions, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities created a motivating atmosphere.  The curriculum had great balance between theory and practical hands on projects of machine learning. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to build a career in machine learning.

I joined the ZAKA Machine Learning Engineer program because I wanted to move from learning AI concepts online by myself to actually building real projects and understanding how AI systems work in practice. I already had experience in web development and programming, but I wanted stronger skills in Machine Learning, NLP, and deployment.

What I liked most about the program was that it focused heavily on hands-on work instead of only theory. We worked on practical tasks, evaluations, and projects throughout the program, which helped me understand how to apply concepts in real scenarios. The NLP and ML in Production modules were probably my favorite because they introduced tools and workflows that are actually used in industry.

One thing that surprised me was how much deployment and infrastructure matter in AI projects. Before the program, I mostly focused on model building, but during the training I learned more about Docker, APIs, vector databases, and deploying applications to cloud platforms. That changed the way I think about AI systems because I started seeing them as complete products, not just notebooks or experiments.

For our capstone project, my teammates and I built EduPath AI, an AI-powered platform that helps Lebanese University students discover suitable majors and career paths. We used a Random Forest model for recommendations and built a RAG based chatbot using Weaviate and LLM tools. Seeing the project go from an idea to a deployed application was honestly one of the most rewarding parts of the experience.

The mentorship and community also made a big difference. The mentors were supportive and always encouraged us to solve problems ourselves while still guiding us when needed. The career fair and networking opportunities also gave us exposure to industry expectations and helped connect technical learning with real career paths. 

Overall, the program helped me improve both technically and professionally. I feel much more confident working on AI projects now, especially in NLP, ML deployment, and building scalable applications. I’m planning to continue developing AI-powered systems and applying what I learned to real world software solutions and future projects.

I joined the ZAKA AI program because I wanted to strengthen my knowledge in artificial intelligence and machine learning while gaining practical experience through real-world projects. My goal was to improve both my technical and problem-solving skills and prepare myself for a professional career in AI and machine learning engineering.One of my favorite parts of the program was learning about machine learning, deep learning, and AI applications. I especially enjoyed discovering how AI models can be trained and optimized to create useful and intelligent solutions for real-world problems.

During the program, I worked on an AI-powered PowerPoint presentation generator project. The idea of the project was to build and train a model capable of generating professional and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations with optimized content organization and attractive design. Through this project, I learned more about model training, prompt engineering, workflow optimization, and how AI can improve productivity and creativity. It was exciting to see how AI can automate presentation creation while still maintaining high-quality design and structure.

Another highlight of the program was participating in projects and the career fair experience, which helped me better understand industry expectations and connect learning with practical applications.

The instructors and team were supportive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The curriculum was well-structured and beneficial for both beginners and learners looking to deepen their AI knowledge.

Overall, the program significantly improved my technical skills, confidence, and understanding of AI concepts. It motivated me to continue building AI projects, exploring advanced machine learning topics, and pursuing opportunities in artificial intelligence and data science in the future.

This 20-week Machine Learning Specialization was an opportunity I’ll never regret. It equipped me with strong foundations in Python, essential data science libraries, and advanced ML concepts. Through hands-on labs, live instructor-led sessions, and team projects, I learned how to design and deploy real-world AI solutions. My capstone—an AI-powered website generator—was both challenging and rewarding, helping me refine my problem-solving, teamwork, and deployment skills. This program not only deepened my technical expertise but also boosted my confidence to innovate and contribute in the AI industry.

As a grad form this certification, i want to say that the amount of experience you get whether from the capstone project where you'll have an experienced instructor guiding you, tutors that are deeply experienced and actively working and reshaping the field , and hands-on projects in 20 weeks is  invaluable. The amount of knowledge packed in this program cannot be easily found and obtained. They also taught us also how to independently  search for new concepts and learn. We were encouraged to adopt a mindset of lifelong learning and that it's ok to "not know" but it's not ok to stay in this state . Apart form that , my mentality totally changed during these 20-weeks , it went from wanting to do everything perfectly to focusing on getting real results, and i had to understand that you might need to reshape your priorities to achieve your goals , and that you can acquire totally new skills and get introduced to new concepts in only one week if you wanted . It wasn't only a certification that teach us machine learning in depth, it was a full transformative experience !

It was a fantastic learning experience. The program consisted of two live sessions per week, supplemented by pre-recorded videos. At the end of each week, there was a challenge to submit, which reinforced the concepts covered and sometimes required additional research helping me deepen my understanding.
The bootcamp was divided into two phases:

1. Training Phase – This included the structured learning format I mentioned above.
2. Capstone Phase – Here, I had weekly meetings with a mentor and worked on a real-world project. The project could be either from a partnering company or a topic of my choice. Specifically, we selected three proposed topics from companies and one of our own, and the bootcamp team assigned the final project.

By the end of the program, I had built a strong foundation in Machine Learning, covering all the essential concepts needed to kickstart my career and continue developing my skills.Additionally, the bootcamp offers yearly career fairs and ongoing job search support, including referrals to companies. I highly recommend it!

One Important Note: If you join, I strongly advise committing to daily learning. This is an intensive program, and falling behind can feel overwhelming. The bootcamp does enforce minimum performance criteria, and while they’re not excessively difficult, they do remove participants who don’t meet expectations. Staying consistent with your studies ensures success!

Backed by a previous ML course, I eagerly joined the one-month AI bootcamp to strengthen my skills as a full-stack software engineer and explore the vast landscape of artificial intelligence. My goal was clear – to gain a good understanding of machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and the newly introduced topic, time series.

Favorite Topic:
NLP stole the spotlight for me fueled by my prior experience in building a chatbot for my FYP at the university. I was able to apply the knowledge I gained in my graduation project with my team member, which provided a practical and captivating application of NLP.
New Topic - Time Series:
Time Series was an entirely new territory for me. Understanding patterns and trends in temporal data and applying machine learning techniques for forecasting opened my eyes to the significance of time-based analysis. It was surprising to witness the applicability of time series in diverse fields and its potential impact on decision-making processes.
Project - Sentiment Analysis on Google Maps Reviews:
Our project, focusing on sentiment analysis of Google Maps reviews related to courier services, was a hands-on application of NLP principles. Analyzing the sentiments of users using LSTM and CNN models and crafting responses using OpenAI's API provided real-world insights into the power of AI in customer interaction and satisfaction measurement.

I recently completed a 16-week Machine Learning Specialization training program, and I am thrilled to share my experience. This comprehensive program provided me with an in-depth understanding of various machine-learning techniques and their real-world applications. I dived into fundamental Data Science principles, explored Machine Learning algorithms, delved into Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing, and gained insights into ML in Production and Research.


The highlight of this specialization was the capstone project, where I took on the challenging task of intracranial hemorrhage segmentation. Utilizing the U-Net architecture, I developed a cutting-edge machine-learning model that showcased impressive performance. the model demonstrated strong overall performance. While there were some challenges in accurately segmenting the object of interest, I thoroughly evaluated the model's performance using various metrics such as the IoU score, confusion matrix, and classification report, identifying areas for improvement and learning valuable insights.


In addition, I also developed another model with a unique architecture. This model achieved even better performance, boasting higher AUC and IoU scores. The precision, recall, and F1 scores were exceptional, highlighting the model's capabilities.


The completion of this Machine Learning Specialization and the successful execution of these projects have significantly enhanced my expertise in machine learning and deepened my understanding of its practical applications. I decided to join the ZAKA program after applying for many online AI platforms and found myself only watching videos without real interaction with the instructors. my Goal was to follow a clear curriculum from A to Z with details and follow-up.

the most Topic I liked most in this Bootcamp was the live session and the dissertation of the assignment which make a deep understanding of the why and what of each nuts and bolts of DL. 

The new topics that were very special in this program were the presentation on new topics like the latest cutting edge on many AI topics (GPT, Transformers..etc) with many experts worldwide and the real experience with the tech people.

Moreover, the capstone project (Roofinder) was an opportunity to apply my expertise in a real case project using ML in production.
 
A career fair was also beneficial as it gave us the chance to meet new companies working in this domain.
ZAKA program will help me in my career as it can broaden my expertise to build new solutions that will be an added value to my daily tasks at work.

As for the future, I am looking forward to making a merger between AI and my career to provide a smarter output that can smooth some of my daily tasks.

before entering the bootcamp, I expected it would be so fast as I read the curriculu of the bootcamp, and it contained a lot of topics, but after completing the materials, I really could say that it is one of the most Knowledge I ever gained from online course before.
The instructors were very knowledgable and cheerful that you really enjoy gaining their knowledge from them.
Their Materials also were well-organized and you Can Cope up with the Course in many different ways like watching videos and following up the content with the beautiful notebooks they offer.
To sum up, I increasingly recommend this experience to anyone who want to put a stable hand in ML field and would like to explore the AI domain.

First things first, the team and instructors are always nice and really helpful with any inquiries or questions you have. I didn't believe that I can learn all I need to know from the basics of data science to NLP, Computer Vision, Time Series and More! ..but I did!

I'm an AI enthusiast, and I was looking for a place to start, but all the programs I've been involved in have been just an introduction to AI. But by chance, I belonged to Zaka, and it was the place I was looking forward to starting my career.
Zaka is one of the most wonderful platforms, and one the most wonderful teams, as they care about the smallest details, and every week there is something new and new project, until the end of the program we throw ourselves in front of the graduation project, which is a beautiful experience. I advise everyone to join this program cz it is the only place where you tire yourself and benefit from practice, explanation, soft skills and everything.

I actually had alot in my mind about ML, but this program helped me organizing them and learning some ML stuffs from scratch. Since the program was interesting and organized for me, I was looking forward to learn more from it. Thanks to the program, I was able to work on the first project of mine and my teammates in ML which answers the question: "Does a sentiment analysis done on an ML generated summary reflects the real sentiment of the original text?" which is a combination of NLP (my favorite domain) and a classification task. The career fair was also a great experience communicating with different companies from different regions that work in ML and DS domains. It was a great online experience that I will always recommend it.

I decided to join this program, as it would be a great opportunity to go deeper in the world of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Statistics, I would understand the basics of it, and how they do work. The topics that I like the most, were the new topics to me, some deep diving into the world of deep learning. As a data science graduate, I got to go over the basics just working on ANN model, and some theory about the other Neural Networks. With Zaka, I was able to learn a lot more and practice these models. 
The project was kind of a challenge, due to time restrictions and working hours difference between my teammate and I, but we were able to get to a solution and do a good project overall. 
This program helped me with task prioritization, time management and most of all knowledge. Due to being a master student and working a part-time job as a tutor, I had a tight schedule, but I was able to achieve the program in a very good way and with a lot of knowledge. Everyone was awesome, understanding and very helpful from Zaka's team to the mates in the certification program. 
If only I had more time, I would have enjoyed interacting more with the amazing, funny people in the chat group.
For the future, I hope that I will be able to go into research in the field of AI, especially computer vision in the medical field.
