I'll be very honest... I would give it a 0 if I could, I don't recommend anyone going to this school, it was the worst school I've ever attended! A complete robbery and a scheme organized with the Montepio bank! School in poor conditions, construction going on during classes, rooms with 40% more people than they said there would be, teachers not knowing how to speak Portuguese and not knowing how to explain, teachers missing days and days in a row without replacing the teacher when there were several teachers walking around smoking cigarettes, but worst of all, they paint the school pink saying that everything is very good with guaranteed work at the end of the course, classes of 20 people MAXIMUM ( mine was 30...) and when you finish we don't even have work and the support given by the placement team is a joke... simply horrible I don't advise anything, what I advise is to talk to former students who already attended the school as I even bet that 70% of them are unemployed or have left the area. Not to mention signing the contract that was done online on the school's platform, worth €6500, which should never have been done online... but even so, when we tried to get the contract already signed before, we couldn't get it, if we ask the school later they will send a completely different one with all the conditions that were not met so as not to be in breach after the course had ended. My learning experience was amazing, I learn a world of things, really intense, but also really rewarding, human teachers, with a direct and no bullshit approach. They have an amazing placement team, that do not abandon us after the bootcamp is over, this is not the type of school that after they get the money, and all is over, they don't care about the students. The 14 weeks of bootcamp are very intense, challenging and hard to keep up with. If you are not highly focused and dedicated full-time, you can easily get lost, but if you commit to it you will learn a lot and acquire all the tools for a bright future. The experience was extremely demanding, from the enrolment process and fees to the lectures themselves and the events, but the curriculum and the way its delivered is incredibly effective for such a short amount of time. The lecturers are world class, both for technical knowledge but especially and most of all for the sheer spirit they infuse into the lectures and the ambiance they create out of them. The assistance the academy provides the cadets through all stages of their path and even after they've graduated is legitimately second to none and a breath of fresh air in an increasingly bureaucratic and uncaring job market.

Couldn't recommend this enough to anyone considering programming as a career, even as a viable alternative to traditional academia. Read less
