Best learning experience as an adult so far
If you love learning and challenging yourself in a safe and inclusive environment, this is the place.
What a great experience!
Note that the bootcamp covers fullstack web development but is heavily geared towards backend and java, which suited my preferences but may not be ideal for someone looking for more front end learning. -

Intense but worth it
This experience was what I needed to finally switch to IT. It was really really intense and made me constantly doubt of my capacities but in the end I think it was worth it. It got me a job opportunity even before the end of the program what significantly reduced my financial anxiety.
I would give it two or three more weeks in order to go deeper in most of the subjects. -

The Code Academy exceeded all my expectations! Completing my studies there was an incredible experience. AWESOME
A very complete and very intensive course that taught me how to program and change my life. It is really very intensive and we have to want and give up if we want to get the best out of the course and learn as much as possible. The environment is amazing and conducive to learning and we have help from the beginning to the end of the bootcamp. -

The weeks went by crazy fast, but only because there was always something going on. Super rewarding experience, learned a lot, made good friends, and feel ready to get out there and get a job in this industry. -

Pros:
was an amazing experience! The MC's ( Professor / Master Coders ) were always very nice, I was very happy to be able to have Chris as my Jedi MC, because she is an incredible human being and MC, she knows alot! her style to teach is amazing, i was never a great fan to study, but with her is another world! 10 million starts to her, the other MC's were very nice to , specially Pedro Jerónimo (*). The energy around AC is really incredible, i was lucky to have a class full of amazing people(**), The events are really funny, i will take this experience with so much joy for the rest of my life.... The bootcamp ended in April, in June i alredy had a job, so it does really help u to get in to the IT area. The bootcamp cost me 6500€, but for the way that i could enter the IT area in so much little time, for the amazing experience that i went through, for the friends i made, i whould 100% do it all again!
Cons:
(*)No one tells you that the MC's besides Chris (Jedi MC) whould not have the full experience to teach us, and that came with some bad moments, one time one of the MC's was teaching something totally wrong, other times they whould not explain very well... Normally Chris whould be there, or Pedro, but if they werent there we whould get a shitty class (sorry... not sorry) (Also u may not get Chris as your Jedi, and that could ruin the experience, at least for the people i know that made the bootcamp and didnt get her)
(**) You have to be lucky to get a good class... i heard from the people who made the bootcamp before ours, that the people in the class werent really helpfull with each other and that ruined the experience for them... (but i was lucky)
The has a """psychologist""" She is a very nice person, but for the Job.... she didnt do a great job...
The also as a Placement Team, that helps you to create your Linkdlen, create your CV, and get a Job... they are very nice people... but honestly they didnt do much....
The Finance team is incredibly slow to respond and never gives you a straight answer, since they work with the money and inscriptions of the students they should try to be better in that.
I may have some Cons, but i whould definitly do it all again, because the most important thing in making this bootcamp, was the stuff that i learned, the amazing experience that i had and how fast i could enter the IT World, ... the """psychologist""", finance team, placement team... are things aside, they wont ruin your experience in it, but they could and should get better. -

Code Academy provided a learning experience with teachers who were pleasant and helpful. Overall, I found the learning aspect to be positive. However, one area where Code Academy could improve is job support, as it was lacking in that regard.Additionally, I believe that Code Academy could benefit from enhancing their job placement resources to better assist students in finding employment opportunities after completing their courses.

Boot camp experience
Good environment . Great team spirit and teachers. Good equipment to study and great location.
Would definitely do it all over again, probably with another language or more focused in another subject -

Expensive taste like a SCAM
Too expensive for the poor service they provide. Misleading advertising, tastes like scamming.
Curriculum frozen for years, with no interest in developing students' skills.
Focused on money, they open more classes, more courses, it gets more expensive, 8000Euros, and the quality of education loses. -

Amazing and Intense
It was an amazing experience. I was surrounded by incredible people that I'll always remember, including my MCs. They really teach us alot in those 14 weeks, although there's so much more to learn outside this bootcamp. -

I was kind of lost in life wondering what the next step would be and since a while back liked programming but couldn't get started since i got easily lost with all the option i had, after talking with a couple of friends who had also gone trough the bootcamp i decided to do it as well as it seemed like the right thing to do. And it was, the level of soft skill development was amazing and in terms of programming knowledge i think it was nice although some topics were approached with more time investment than others despite perhaps being not as important, i think the fundamental knowledge and capacity to adapt and develop with these is plenty to get a starting step in the area and to grow from there. -

From zero to hero
From zero to hero.
When I started, I din't even know how to make a single console log nor know what that even was. Today I'm glad to say that I can do way more than that.
This was a 14 week intensive bootcamp, it was really hard, I must say but at a great reward. -

An intensive bootcamp (14 weeks).
It only has a start time (9:30 am) and no end time.
I've worked with many technologies many of them around Java.
Let's say 80% of the content is backend and 20% is frontend.
In just one month I got my first job as a developer. -

It is amazing the things you can acomplish in a field you know nothing about when you have the right guidance. In this school you get to be a part of a friendly and welcoming environment that allows you to work very hard and have fun while you do it. I kept in touch with all my coleagues after the course finished and we still help each other in our common field. Plus, when you finish your course you get the help of the staff to open the best doors so that your transition to your future job as smooth as possible. I got a job just a week after I graduate.
I really recommend this school to anyone who wants to venture in this field and who aims to shift things around as quickly as possible. -

New super effective teaching technique. It covers all the essential topics to enter after entering a company. The teachers help the students a lot and don't leave anyone with debts. After finishing the course, they don't stop helping us, they help everyone get work and they rest until we get it. -

Of all the things I've ever done, this was definitely the best. I entered the world of the <Code Academy_> and came out more fulfilled than I ever imagined I would be.
I incredibly restarted my professional life, with so much knowledge and passion, all thanks to the people who idealized this Bootcamp, who teach with their hearts, make our brains burn with so much information and learning.

Worth It
Pros:

Meet new people from many different different fields and learn from them
After bootcamp, they do their best you help you find a job
Cons:
The cost, if you dont have go to Terceira
You really have to commit these 14 weeks, as it is very intensive

They try to sell you the best bootcamp in the world...in the end they just want money. The instructors never worked in the field, they just finished the bootcamp and were invited to teach. After you finish, good luck my friend, they just care about the new students, more money! They will ask you to make everything (CV, Linkedin etc) as they want, full of Academia de Código colors and advertising, then by experience the companies do not like it at all, specially the CV.
They have this companies day that, this year, was ridiculous, they asked a lot of companies that were not even hiring, to attend this day, just to pretend they have companies interested. I know that there are many other bootcamps better then this, just search for it. They do not give you any certification as they are not even a certified school. -

Very intense but exciting experience, would recommend to anyone interested in getting into programming to give this bootcamp a try!

Someone told me and my class, around the first 2-3 weeks, that after the bootcamp it would seem that 3 years had passed since we went to FUNdão. In the last week I could understand why that someone said that, we wanted to get out of the room to go outside and do our thing! Now that I've finished and I'm close to do my thing, it seems like everything went so fast that I only wanted for 5 or 6 months, instead of 3,5. It was indeed a hell of a ride. And I'd do it over and over again!

Like a big teaching family
Being at Academia's bootcamp was just like being surrounded by a big family. I cannot thank them enough for the support and for having made me get on the track as a back-end programmer.
