Switching careers is scary but Brainstion's bootcamp made it possible. After 8+ years in marketing, I took the plunge into the Software Engineering bootcamp and found educators who genuinely cared about my success. The assignments, hackathons and industry projects were challenging in the best way, forcing me to problem-solve like a real developer. 

While I wish we'd spent more time on backend technologies, the program gave me a solid foundation in full-stack development. If you're willing to put in the work and aren't afraid to ask questions, this bootcamp can absolutely help you reinvent your professional identity like it did for me.

Review: Nucamp Bootcamp Experience

I decided to enroll in Nucamp because I wanted to transition into a tech career & It was definitely the right decision for me! The curriculum is well-structured, and the instructors are knowledgeable and supportive. The combination of self-paced learning and interactive workshops made it easy to grasp new concepts and apply them through hands-on projects.

One of the highlights of the bootcamp was the sense of community. The active online forums allowed me to connect with my peers and instructors, making the learning experience more engaging and enjoyable.

After completing the bootcamp, my goal is to continue growing as a developer and eventually specialize in front-end development. Nucamp has set a strong foundation for my career in tech, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me!

CareerFoundry has worked out wonderfully for me. It's abundantly clear I made the right call in choosing this organization among all the others; the asynchronous nature of the modules, course materials, mentorship program and much more have made it extremely effective and enjoyable for me, and I've been able to work at a faster pace than originally expected!

Codesmith provided me with exactly what I needed. The curriculum was set up to cover some of the most prevalent concepts and technologies in the industry, and what I left with was a strong foundation to stand on, a solid understanding of how to grow moving forward, and the dedication and confidence to do so. Since graduating, I've stayed in contact with my cohort mates and other people I met through the program (all excellent good-hearted people) and continued to learn and expand my skill set and capabilities. Recently I realized my goal, and with the help of the Alumni and Job Support Team (shoutout to Eric Kirsten), I landed a job as a Software Developer! 

Tech Elevator was the perfect choice for me and I recommend it for anyone who wants to learn coding in order to make a career change. Before the bootcamp, I had no technical knowledge, coming from a background in the arts and human services. The structure of the program–daily, live remote, module based–made it easy to stay engaged and learn efficiently. It was hard–very hard–but I felt supported by the structure of the day, coupled with the ability to get help from instructors and peers who were available daily after classroom hours.

My instructor was Rich Seeds, an expert in his field, knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humor. Together with my cohort, we created a learning environment that fostered open curiosity, encouraging active questioning and problem solving in order to master challenging concepts. I also appreciated the Pathway Program, which prepared me for the job search with resume reviews, mock interviews, and networking opportunities. I’m so grateful for the guidance that Claribel Quintana–my one-on-one Pathway Director for my post-graduation job search–has already given me, and I look forward to continuing our work together in the coming weeks.

At the outset of 2024, I set a goal for myself to find a fully remote position that paid well, as well as provide a ladder that I could climb. A well-paying, fully remote career will help me provide for my family while offering us the flexibility to travel and move wherever we please. The obvious plan was to look for a way to break into the tech industry. But where to start? 

Enter TripleTen. Truth be told, they got to me at the exact right time, offering "The fastest way into tech" through their QA Engineering Program. Getting connected and enrolled in the program was a breeze and they offered loan options that would allow me to get hired and start earning before worrying about paying my tuition back. After my acceptance, I was put on course to begin with the next QA program beginning within the month. 

I will be honest about one thing. I would highly recommend at least some background in coding before taking on this program. The course was structured in a way that allowed you to get building blocks moving into each new section, but without some basic understanding, you will likely end up doing some extra homework on the side to catch up. The program itself is set up to resemble the day-to-day of a QA engineer with projects that cap sprints that teach you the fundamentals of everything from test planning to writing automated test scripts. All skills that will be crucial to find a role in QA. 

TripleTen's QA program does offer quite a bit of support along the way. Students are assigned a success coach who can help them find resources throughout the program. They have a Discord channel that offers a variety of resources that you will find useful along the way. Tutors are attentive to questions posted in the Sprint-related forums. Sprint-specific resources that give you advice on Capstone projects. Career channels that offer advice and tips on getting a job once you are finished with the program. Additionally, links to tutor and co-working hours are posted on Discord daily for extra assistance when necessary. 

 Finally, I want to touch on what, for me, was the most valuable aspect of the program. Career Acceleration. Once you complete your program, you gain access to career resources and, in my case, access to Career Acceleration. Upon entering this stage, you are coached on setting up a proper LinkedIn profile and getting your resume up to snuff. It is at this stage that you also work with a Career Coach to develop a job-seeking strategy. Your coach will help you target industries and positions where you will stand out because of your previous experience bolstered by your new QA Engineering certificate. They help you learn which jobs to go after and how to get them. Finally, they are there every step of the way through the interview and offer-acceptance period to help you achieve what it is that you're truly after, a new career. 

I can honestly say that I wouldn't have landed my new position without the help of TripleTen. I highly recommend this program to folks looking to break into tech. The foundational knowledge can and will lead you where you are hoping to go.

Wish i could do it all again!

Like many of us looking to advance our careers and finding ourselves searching quick programs, I compared a few different companies looking at prices and reviews. I will always be grateful I chose The Tech Academy for a number of reasons. I gained confidence that software development was in reach for me and the courses I took walked me from knowing next to nothing to feeling I could actually work in a career as a software developer. Beyond the courses I have been impressed with the job placement staff at The Tech Academy.
I finished my short boot camp two years ago and their staff is still interested in helping me find a career. My own life events put a pause on my job search in the tech field shortly after finishing my boot camp and although that pause lasted months and months, their job placement staff is still ready to help me work on preparing to find that job. Product Gym has everything about getting a product manager job down to a science, though you have to do the work to succeed. How to write a resume and how to interview (every step of the way, every kind of interview), including specific interview types, are all explained. The FAANG companies are covered, as well as specific types of interviews along each step of the process. There are regular coaching calls, and many different ways to practice. If you want a product management job, this is the place to go to get one.

Great feeling when it's done, how these challenges shape your way of thinking to solve different problems. Engaging in these exercises not only sharpens your problem-solving skills but also instils a sense of accomplishment. The structured approach to tackling diverse challenges each week broadens your perspective and enhances your adaptability. It's amazing to see how each challenge contributes to personal growth, fostering creativity and resilience. Overall, it's an enriching experience that not only improves technical prowess but also moulds you into a more resourceful and confident individual.

I graduated from the Data Analytics Bootcamp recently and had a positive overall experience. Right from the start, the process was smooth and communication was clear. The learning materials are well thought out and understandable even if you don’t have a data background. I appreciated that I could work through the platform at my own pace and still return to it after graduating. The career coaching part was practical too — they helped me polish my resume, LinkedIn profile, and interview skills, which was valuable. The instructors are supportive, but you do need to be proactive in asking for help when needed. Like any online course, your outcome depends a lot on your own effort, but the structure they provide definitely helps you stay motivated. Overall, it was a very good investment for me as someone switching careers. 

 I would recommend DigitalCrafts to anyone that is committed to transitioning into full-stack software development. During the 17-week full-time program I experienced tremendous growth and was able to build much greater things than I expected. On the 17th week I was accepted into an internship and it's because of this bootcamp. During the full-time bootcamp it is up to you and how hard you are willing to apply yourself during this time. If you need to recharge, recharge. However, if you have free time, commit it to learning new technologies or improving existing skills. As I write this, I am now familiarizing myself with an entirely new codebase and beginning work with 40 other developers. The curriculum keeps you moving and lays an important foundation for new developers. Also, I would recommend Veronica as an instructor. If you're willing to work hard and you aren't just trying to "get by" - this bootcamp will be great for you. 

My experience with Turing College has been fantastic. What really stood out to me was the flexibility they offer, which allowed me to learn at my own pace and fit my studies into my busy schedule. This flexibility made a huge difference in keeping me motivated and consistent throughout the program.

I also appreciated how well-designed the curriculum is—it's practical, relevant, and helps you build real skills that you can apply directly in the industry. The instructors and mentors are knowledgeable and supportive, always willing to help and encourage you along the way.

One personal tip I’d give to future students is to make notes and summaries of what you learn. It really helps with retention and review, especially when juggling multiple commitments. Engaging with the community and peers is also valuable; sharing your progress and challenges can make the learning process even richer.

Overall, I highly recommend Turing College to anyone looking for a flexible, industry-focused tech education. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I feel more confident in my skills thanks to this program.

LearningFuze Bootcamp exceeded my expectations by providing all the tools I needed to create polished, full-stack applications. The curriculum focused on the PERN stack, with particular emphasis on React, which is valuable for building modern applications. They prepared us with everything from front-end basics to back-end development, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of full-stack concepts.

The support from instructors and staff was consistently available and helpful. Whether I needed help with coding challenges or career advice, there was always someone ready to assist. Speaking of career preparation, LearningFuze put a strong emphasis on job readiness, which included mock interviews, resume support, and guidance on building a portfolio. They really did prepared us for the job hunt, even though the current market is tough for new developers. We were able to build two solid portfolio projects—a front-end project and a full-stack application—that demonstrates our skills to potential employers.

Overall, I would recommend LearningFuze to anyone looking to transition into tech or strengthen their coding skills. The bootcamp is perfect for people who want a comprehensive, career-oriented program with lots of support.

I recently completed the full-stack software development program at Sabio School of Software Engineering, and I can confidently say that it was a transformative experience that exceeded all my expectations. Sabio's covers a wide array of languages and technologies, making you a well-rounded developer. They delve deep into JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, .NET Core, C#, MSSMS, and SQL, ensuring you gain expertise in both front-end and back-end development. The hands-on projects and real-world applications of these technologies throughout the program make learning practical and engaging. Before joining this bootcamp, I was very hesitant. I didn't have any experience on coding, but gave it a shot because I wanted to shift to the tech industry. Best decision I ever made! The instructors here and TAs are the kindest and really thrives for every individual to learn, they won't make you feel any less if you're having a hard time understanding, they are very hands one. One of my favorite things that they offer was unlimited one on ones! This really helped me when I was falling behind on some exercise and projects! They also offer Career Services where you can do Mock interviews, get help fixing your resume, and basically molding you to be job ready! Other than that, this is one of the most affordable bootcamps that I've seen while I was researching. They offer many payment plans that fits your budget. And I took the live classes, which was only 9 weeks, compared to other bootcamps that usually take 3 to 6 months. Overall experience 10/10! and I'll be graduating tomorrow!!

Product school was a great resource in helping me with my industry transfer into product management. My instructor, Toby Martin Hughes, was very informative and is definitely a very talented product management instructor. I am pleased to have attended this class, and look forward towards my career as a PM.

Test Pro is a wonderful online course, very well organized and designed, and provides priceless practical knowledge. Great slides and material recommendations. Especially I like that it has online live classes and video recordings and a lot of real project practice which gives you knowledge and confidence. Test Pro teachers prepare you for the real interview. The main aim is to get knowledge and find the job of your dream and Test pro will help you on your way. Codeworks was a game-changer! I went from knowing absolutely nothing about development to landing a job in just a few months. The curriculum is challenging but incredibly effective, and the support from instructors and fellow students is amazing. Highly recommend Codeworks for anyone looking to break into the tech industry!

I attended and graduated from the 24 week Cybersecurity Cohort.  The program gets it right, and it is probably better than some of the degree programs I had looked into through the local universities.  I am in an IT group on Facebook and a lot of the members stated that the curriculum they get through their degree programs doesn't prepare them because they don't extensively get to participate in hands on labs.  The instructors are real world experienced individuals at Claim Academy, and are very knowledgeable.  They are truly invested in the success of the students.  I have recommended the program to so many of my friends.
