I recently completed Clarusway's 9-month front-end and back-end bootcamp, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering all the key technologies needed to excel as a full-stack developer. I started with little more than a basic understanding of coding, but thanks to the structured learning path, I now feel confident in both front-end and back-end development. Front-End: The front-end modules were robust, with a strong focus on modern technologies such as React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The hands-on projects allowed me to apply the knowledge in real-world scenarios, and the instructors were always there to guide us through every challenge. Back-End: The back-end section covered Node.js, Express, and databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL. It was thorough and emphasized best practices, which I found invaluable. I also appreciated the focus on security, API development, and deployment, which are essential for building full-scale applications. Hyperion dev has provided me with a great experience overall. From the course content that takes a step by step approach in guiding me from one stack/technology to another to the mentors that do their best to help in all situations where I was stuck and the reviewers who explain the problems they find in my code, apon submission, which makes it easier for me to fix. It truly has been a Rollercoaster but very much worth it

The Bootcamp started as a new experience for me and with no previous knowledge i had to learn everything from scratch. we had 4 instructors through the whole course, they all had a good preparation and were always available to help when needed. i Learned things new things that completely changed my view on what a software is and how i look at it, not just basic ui and functionality anymore but code wise and the complexity of every single action it performs. im really grateful to have been a part of this bootcamp, for all i have learned, and what i will make of it in my future. dankie wbs God seën jou ;D

I'll be very honest... I would give it a 0 if I could, I don't recommend anyone going to this school, it was the worst school I've ever attended! A complete robbery and a scheme organized with the Montepio bank! School in poor conditions, construction going on during classes, rooms with 40% more people than they said there would be, teachers not knowing how to speak Portuguese and not knowing how to explain, teachers missing days and days in a row without replacing the teacher when there were several teachers walking around smoking cigarettes, but worst of all, they paint the school pink saying that everything is very good with guaranteed work at the end of the course, classes of 20 people MAXIMUM ( mine was 30...) and when you finish we don't even have work and the support given by the placement team is a joke... simply horrible I don't advise anything, what I advise is to talk to former students who already attended the school as I even bet that 70% of them are unemployed or have left the area. Not to mention signing the contract that was done online on the school's platform, worth €6500, which should never have been done online... but even so, when we tried to get the contract already signed before, we couldn't get it, if we ask the school later they will send a completely different one with all the conditions that were not met so as not to be in breach after the course had ended. An act of clowning literally delayed my life!!!

After completing Devmountain's Coding Basics course, I promptly enrolled in the 16-week full time React Web Development Boot Camp. I knew of people who had taken this specific course and obtained employment immediately post-graduation. I come from a long career in healthcare with no prior coding knowledge prior to enrolling at Devmountain and, although it was difficult to fully grasp the concepts, the instructors were extremely patient, available, and helpful to ensure I would complete every project. The curriculum was great, I have all the recordings for future reference, and I definitely feel more confident at the end of the program than I did on day 1. I loved the group activities and pair programming. It was a fun and interactive class! The student success manager and outcomes team were incredibly supportive and available when I needed to discuss my progress, apprehensions, and issues. They encourage you to continue to reach out after graduation and offer to help during the job search. I didn't realize the tech job market would be so difficult to get into at this time, but I know that if I continue to utilize Devmountain's resources, staff, and instruction, I should be able to find tech employment soon.

I would recommend DigitalCrafts to anyone that is committed to transitioning into full-stack software development. During the 17-week full-time program I experienced tremendous growth and was able to build much greater things than I expected. On the 17th week I was accepted into an internship and it's because of this bootcamp. During the full-time bootcamp it is up to you and how hard you are willing to apply yourself during this time. If you need to recharge, recharge. However, if you have free time, commit it to learning new technologies or improving existing skills. As I write this, I am now familiarizing myself with an entirely new codebase and beginning work with 40 other developers. The curriculum keeps you moving and lays an important foundation for new developers. Also, I would recommend Veronica as an instructor. If you're willing to work hard and you aren't just trying to "get by" - this bootcamp will be great for you.

I completed the manual testing program and was very satisfied. Careerist has a convenient platform for classes, and managers promptly answered any questions I had. Overall, I had few questions about the program because it is structured in a way that everything becomes clear during the lecture. There are also free additional lessons if you want to delve deeper into a particular topic. I also like that there are tests and summaries available for use.

I'm apart of the HR part time program and my experience to say the least is disappointing. the first half of the program is pair programming which you are matched with a random pair weekly who most often is "too busy" to pair with you, prefers to work solo or is flat out working ahead of you. When you reach out to address the issue of pairing, you will be told that it's normal and everyone seems to be having an issue with pairing and that staff will try to be more mindful of pairing. I mean come on its a part time program and within the first 3 weeks the structure of the program was clear so if you choose to stay, you should be able to follow the guidelines! How can you be set up for success when the first half of the program you are dependent on a partner that has anti pairing behaviors? However, If YOU work ahead and leave your partner behind, you will be reprimanded for it surprisingly. At this point because it continues to happen, I'm not sure ALL students who do this get reprimanded if you get what I am hinting at. That's not to say you won't meet some great people here. There are always diamonds in the rough. The curriculum needs a lot of work, and honestly some of it comes off as culturally insensitive. Hiring outside POC isn't going to change that, the curriculum needs a whole reboot. Some of videos is full of what they explain as "Bro-y" language but really the lecturer is an insensitive douche. In one of the videos the lecturer actually told a student they hadn't bothered to remember their name. WOW! The class was told they forgot to cut that part out. YIKES. Considering the cost of the program on top of my current experience only a few months in, I wouldn't recommend HR to anyone else to spend almost 20,000 on this bs. You would legit only be paying for the network.

They really did prepared us for the job hunt, even though the current market is tough for new developers. Overall, I would recommend LearningFuze to anyone looking to transition into tech or strengthen their coding skills. The bootcamp is perfect for people who want a comprehensive, career-oriented program with lots of support.

I had a very good experience through my bootcamp at Henry, I learned useful hard skills at a high demand tech stack and gained the ability to learn new things, but most important I learned some valuable soft skills such as team work and building community, which I find to be the best about the experience.

a good learning place, teaching you from beginners to advanced in your choosen course. and teach more than the course, the bootcamp teach you how to handle the world of work, how to get a job, and more. overall a pretty good bootcamp, the mentor and the manager of the bootcamp is friendly and great at what they do.

I am 19 years old and I recently graduated high school. I was looking for more affordable alternatives to getting a four year degree as I have no quarrels with furthering my education but college is prohibitively expensive for someone in my situation. That being said, I definitely did not find it here. This has, by far, been one of the most difficult times in my life and it is 100% because of this course. To start, there are no live lectures where you can ask questions. All you get are this little 1 hour sessions where people who don't know the first [redacted] thing about teaching work through some concept that go on once a week. Second off, ALL and yes I mean ALL of the course material is YEARS out of date. SO MUCH SO THAT MOST OF THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE BACK END PORTION OF THE CLASS, WHEN FOLLOWED, WILL NOT RUN. This course is simply using MIT's name to sell you something that is outdated and will not help your learning progress at all.

I thought the entire community has been super supportive. They have many different outlets that you can take advantage of to help you succeed. They have great instructors that work hard to make sure you stay on top of your work. This school makes it fun to code. They offer different options for payment as well, understanding that starting a new career may be ruff on the finances. Great job TrueCoders!

I learned from a few courses in Coderhouse, and in pretty much all of them i saw a strong attention to the student. They generally work hard to make the student learn and be able to workout through their difficulties. I would improve their platform and website, in my time it was not working at a 100%.

Thanks to Test Pro, I not only passed my class tests but am also about to go into a real-life internship provided by Test Pro. I highly recommend the Test Pro Online Course to anyone looking to take their testing skills to the next level!

I'll start this review off by saying that I was a die-hard Hack Reactor stan from 2017-2020. I actually published a 5 star review a few years ago on this site, but requested to un-publish the review due to alarming changes in tone of the administration towards its student body. Take for example the alumni community: what used to be the most compelling reason to choose Galvanize/Hack Reactor over other bootcamps. In my day it was the most vibrant community of technical professionals I had ever seen that cultivated a purpose-driven culture of compassion and empathy towards one another. This meant that new graduates didn't feel like they were on their own after finishing the program, but instead were joining a strong collective of engineers who were ready and eager to help with resumes, mock interviews, internal referrals and salary negotiation. Two of the most integral members of this once-thriving community were Harsh Patel (former CEO) and Marlene Tang (former Alumni Director). Not only would they interact with students and alumni on the ground level, they also demonstrated a rare understanding that transparency breeds trust. Many times the CEO would jump into our communal slack to solicit and listen to people's grievances so that staff may appropriately make informed decisions moving forward. Alas all good things must come to an end, and it is with sadness that I report the environment has drastically changed with the last two acquisitions by Galvanize/K12/Stride. Gone is the humble and principled CEO, gone are the founders whose passion for making education accessible to underserved populations, gone is the alumni director who cherished every single student as though they were her own. Following the loss of trust in leadership, the community fractured. Most of the once-active members ceased their participation in the dedicated alum space and moved on, leaving behind a mere shadow of what once was. So while Hack Reactor still has a decent curriculum (albeit dated and stale per former staff) and can potentially get you to the finish line in one piece, I would personally suggest looking into newer bootcamps that haven't gone through several acquisitions and still put in the effort to live by their mission values and core ethics.

I recently completed the Codeworks bootcamp, and I can confidently say that it was an incredibly enriching experience. The course is meticulously designed, starting with the fundamentals of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and progressively moving on to full-stack development using Node.js and popular frontend frameworks like Angular and React. The curriculum is well-crafted and ensures that by the end of the course, students are well-prepared to build robust, full-stack applications. One of the standout aspects of Codeworks is the instructor coordinator, Brent. He leads the teaching team with a clear and effective approach to instruction. Brent emphasizes problem-solving and self-reliance, which really pushes students to develop their critical thinking and coding skills. While the course is undeniably intense, Brent and the other instructors strike a perfect balance between encouraging independence and providing support. I had the pleasure of meeting with Brent a few times, and each interaction reinforced how dedicated and thoughtful the teaching approach at Codeworks is. The bootcamp is demanding, but students who come in with the right mindset—curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones—will thrive. The only instances where I saw students struggle were when they weren't interested in challenging themselves beyond their existing knowledge. That said, even with my 10 years of coding experience, I found the bootcamp to be incredibly valuable. The environment at Codeworks is nothing short of inspiring. The positive atmosphere and the constant encouragement to tackle ambitious projects allowed me to grow in ways I never expected. The course is also great for beginners. Many in my cohort came in with little or no coding experience, and they thrived. The precourse material, completed as part of the application process, does an excellent job of teaching the fundamentals of JavaScript. We also spent the first few days of the bootcamp recapping this material in more detail, providing a solid foundation from which to build for the rest of the course. This approach makes the course approachable for beginners while still being challenging enough for those with more experience. At Codeworks, students also create their own projects, entirely led by themselves, which allows them to build incredible full-stack applications to add to their portfolios. These projects push their skills to a level that truly sets them apart. The experience of working on these projects closely mimics the environments developers encounter every day in the workplace, providing invaluable real-world experience. Moreover, Codeworks sets you up brilliantly to enter employment afterward if you wish to get a job in computer science. Maria runs the careers department and is available to help Codeworks alumni long after graduation. The structure of the course lends itself toward employment. Students cover the main tasks that junior developers will encounter in the workforce, making them far more attractive to employers. Not only do they develop strong individual coding abilities, but they also gain skills in writing tests and collaborating within a team on projects using industry-standard tools such as Git and GitHub. This knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, as well as proficiency with versioning tools, makes Codeworks graduates particularly attractive to potential employers. In the final week, Codeworks prepares students for job hunting, helping them get ready to enter the job market. Maria assists students in finding resources in their area for job postings and supports each student in crafting the perfect CV, LinkedIn profile, and GitHub. By the end of the week, each student leaves Codeworks with a finely crafted professional persona, ready to apply for a wide range of coding-related jobs. After graduation, students can choose to participate in weekly group calls to support their job search, and Maria is more than happy to do one-on-one calls when needed. The community built by the students and staff at Codeworks is outstanding. Every student learns from one another and pushes each other to get the best out of themselves. Rather than competing against one another, the students work together, exchanging ideas and knowledge. This sense of community and the drive to build everyone up creates an incredibly supportive atmosphere to enter every day. The same is true of the teacher-student relationship. It’s far more of a mentorship role than that of a typical teacher. By not even the end of the course, more like halfway through, we all felt that the staff on the course were friends and mentors. Rather than just having teachers, I now feel like I have a set of mentors who I can turn to even after finishing the course. It’s great being able to chat with them and exchange ideas and knowledge. They all have incredible depths of knowledge to draw from, and their insights are invaluable. I would recommend being in-person if at all possible, as it helps develop this relationship with the staff and fellow students, and I think these relationships are the most valuable part of the course. I was on the London campus, and it was an incredible experience. We interacted with the other campuses and remote students every day. The remote students are also incredibly well supported and had a great time, but a few admitted that they wished they had chosen to join one of the campuses. They could see how much it helped us to have a physical space and surrounding ourselves with other students and staff added another dimension to our experience. In summary, Codeworks is more than just a coding bootcamp—it’s a transformative experience. Whether you’re a beginner or have years of experience like myself, you’ll find the curriculum, the instructors, and the overall environment to be top-notch. I highly recommend Codeworks to anyone looking to take their coding skills to the next level, build strong professional relationships, and set themselves up for a successful career in tech.

I recently attended Claim Academy for 3 weeks .Our First week the instructor went on vacation , and there wasn't a backup instructor in place. They called in favor to have friends in the industry teach. I was like ok whatever, but due to the mixing of instructors, they were just teaching random things and there was no curriculum for them to follow. By week three we had made it to our fourth instructor , who openly admitted he didn't know what was going on and wasn't a very good teacher. He had been asked last minute to fill in until the main instructor returned. In week three we spent an hour going over day one material because no one told the instructor what plan to follow. That same day we found out our main instructor had put his two weeks in and only had a week left. Claim academy had been trying to hire a second instructor for well over two months , and they also were under review from the VA due to excessive complaints about the program. I left the next day after finding out the instructor was leaving. Claim Academy is a burning ship and i do not recommend. I will be pursuing coding at another bootcamp, stay tuned for my next review.
