I wanted practical data science and machine learning skills that I could apply in my professional work. The program delivered exactly that. What I appreciated most was the balance between strong academic foundations and hands-on projects. The assignments and case studies helped me understand not only how machine learning models work, but also when and why to use them in real-world scenarios. I came away with a much better framework for approaching data-driven problems, evaluating AI solutions, and communicating technical concepts to stakeholders. The support from Great Learning, combined with MIT’s rigorous curriculum, created a learning experience that was both challenging and rewarding. As a working professional, I also found the program structure manageable alongside a full-time job.If you're looking for a program that helps you build practical, job-relevant skills, I highly recommend it.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

It is a wonderful program designed and managed by Great Learning, and they truly delivered on everything they committed to.
The program covered all the major topics in Data Science and Generative AI in great depth, with sessions led by MIT faculty as well as Great Learning mentors. What I liked most was that the same topics were often taught twice — once by MIT faculty focusing on academic concepts, and again by top industry leaders who shared real-world examples and practical experience. On top of that, we also had revision classes to ensure we developed a strong understanding of the topics.
I also really appreciated how well the entire program was executed, and I would especially like to give a shout-out to Samuel Moris for his outstanding support. He proactively took care of every step needed for us to progress smoothly through the program. He was always available whenever help was needed and made sure we were able to balance classes with our personal lives.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience with the Great Learning program.

I attended the Jan–May 2026 cohort, and this experience has been very valuable for me. The program was more intensive than I expected, but within four months I gained knowledge and tools that allow me to confidently tackle difficult real-world problems.
Thanks to the strong mix of theory, curriculum depth, hands-on labs, outstanding clarity from MIT professors, excellent tutors, and supportive staff, I had a great overall learning experience.
For a working professional, weekly lessons can feel intense — but it’s worth it. The calendar, timelines, and deadlines were easy to follow. I recommend this program to any software professional who wants to jump into the fantastic world of data science.

Core topics such as regression and predictive modeling, classification techniques and hypothesis testing, supervised versus unsupervised learning, deep learning architectures, recommendation systems, and ethics in artificial intelligence were delivered with clarity, depth, and strong practical relevance.A major strength of the programme lies in its hands-on, applied learning approach. The use of Python-based implementations, real-world case studies, well-designed projects, and frequent quizzes ensured that theoretical concepts were immediately translated into practical competence. This approach significantly strengthened my ability to design, evaluate, and interpret data-driven solutions in real business and policy contexts.Equally impressive was the emphasis on decision-making, not just model building. The programme consistently reinforced how analytical outputs should inform strategic, ethical, and operational decisions—an aspect often missing in purely technical courses. The inclusion of AI ethics and responsible data use further enhanced the programme’s relevance in today’s regulatory and societal landscape.Overall, this programme delivered outstanding academic value and tangible professional benefits. It sharpened my analytical thinking, deepened my technical expertise, and strengthened my confidence in applying advanced data science and machine learning techniques to complex, real-world problems.I would unreservedly recommend this programme to aspiring and practicing Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Analytics Leaders. It is a high-quality, well-curated learning investment that delivers both intellectual depth and practical impact, and one whose value extends well beyond the duration of the course.

Science Fiction and "No Code AI and Machine Learning"

Of course I have to type and they just tell the machine what to do. Dang it!, and what else could we expect? For decades we have been working on making things easy. Easy for the user, easy with new solutions we come up with. Science Fiction movies portrait a future with robots and smart things helping us with our chores. Well, that future is here and we'd better embrace it!
I started with the "No Code AI and Machine Learning" precisely for that, I want to expand my vision and be able to function, as an IT professional in this new AI environment. When I talked to the recruiter, she said that the course was exactly what I was looking for, MIT and Great Learning promised it, and they have been delivering on the promise. I am learning how AI work, first with the Machine Learning technologies (ML) and later with the Unsupervised Learning Neural Networks (NN). You see?, it sounds like Science Fiction, now I understand the phrase "it is learning from experience", when Ultron was getting self-created in the Avengers movie saga. Yes, he did it by means of Neural Networks, what else?
In all seriousness, The course is comprehensive and has a clear view of the position these technologies have in the industry. I find it very useful for Prediction, Optimization, Risk Management, Medical solutions, Research, Banking, etc.
One more thing: When I registered, I noticed the "No Code" adjetive in the title. At first I noticed some friendly friction in between the coders and no coders, having No-Code tools expands the scope. Think about it, the focus is not your ability to code, the focus is that, as long as you understand your data, you find solutions and are able to deliver. If you do not code, you are still ahead. And if you know coding you can create a solution - using your creativity and the same principles and knowledge learned in the course.

Despite having over a decade of analytics experience, my current employer offered limited opportunities for advancement or skill development, which unfortunately led to my technical skills atrophying over time. I knew I had to take proactive steps to re-engage with the field — and enrolling in the MIT Applied Data Science Program was exactly the right decision. The material in this program felt significantly more accessible and practical compared to what I encountered during my master's program. This wasn’t just because of my previous exposure; it was largely due to the outstanding structure and support offered by the instructors and mentors. Unlike my prior academic experiences, where some professors were distant and discouraged questions, the MIT faculty were remarkably approachable, encouraging interaction and deeper engagement. What truly set this program apart was the fact that the instructors were not just educators but also active practitioners in the field. Their ability to share real-world examples and insights made complex concepts tangible and immediately relevant. They didn’t just answer questions — they fostered an environment where curiosity and discussion were integral to the learning process. While my master's program delved deeply into theory, I genuinely feel that I gained more actionable knowledge and professional confidence through this four-month program than I ever anticipated. It provided exactly the kind of real-world, applied learning I needed to refresh my skills, rebuild my confidence, and reignite my passion for the field. Thanks to this program, I now feel prepared to tackle more advanced topics and will approach future career opportunities as a much stronger candidate.I highly recommend the MIT Applied Data Science Program to anyone, whether you are looking to break into the field, refresh existing skills, or bridge the gap between theory and practical application. It was a truly transformative and empowering experience.Overall5.0Curriculum5.0Job support5.0Instructors5.0 -

However, covid changed the way we see education and online education boomed in 2020. I decided to wait until 2025 to start taking classes for AI and math and all the beautiful scientific discoveries in IT. I picked this No code for AI since everyone I work with (mostly uppermanagement) is not code savy and I wanted to bring them up to speed with this No code approach. The instructors and mentors are amazingly knowledgeable. The materials are challenging and very well designed. I can say that this is the best online class I have since I took a couple with MIT xPro and there are not as good as this No code for AI class.
