I had zero experience in UX/UI design when first started, and almost a year later, I feel confident in having learned the fundamentals of great product design. My mentor, Daria, played a huge role in my growth as a designer and gave honest feedback on my portfolio.
They have career coaches that will give you great tips for networking and salary negotiation when it comes time to find a job. I felt fully supported by the Springboard community, and the support center is quick in answering emails (all my emails/questions were answered in less than 24 hours).
Springboard went beyond expectations by providing excellent starting points for design principles. I think the more effort you invest, the greater the rewards. It's an ideal choice for beginners seeking to pivot into the UX/UI design field.Ironhack

Mostly focus on UX side of the work. You will learn to use tools like Figma but these are tools you can went up in skills by yourself.
What's really nice with ironhack it's that the projects you're working on are done in collaboration with real companies or projects. This help to have your first network in this sector or even it's help to find your first job as a product designer (was my case :) ).
The other students are your future colleagues because the sector is a small world don't forget that :)Correlation One

First of all, I have a great support system at home that allowed me to focus 100% on this course for 4 months. I was able to take a recourse to prepare me for the full-time program.
The first month was HARD. I thought I was going to give up. The assignments are fast, and I spent all of my free time studying. It was difficult not to compare where I stood to others in my class. At my toughest moment, I reached out to my Career Services Manager and my TA. They both helped encourage me and offer support when I needed them.
I would say the most important take-aways for those looking to join the bootcamp: Make sure you have a support system. Don't compare yourself to others in the class. Stay dedicated and find the motivation behind why you're doing this.
Coding Dojo has great resources throughout the course, that continue on for 6 months after you graduate. There is also an option to pay more for a yearly alumni pass.Flatiron School

I graduated from GoIT Academy a few weeks before the end of 2022. I studied the FullStack developer course, which included HTML, CSS, JS, React, and Node. In general, I am very pleased with the training organization; there are many really cool mentors. If you like to learn, have had highly qualified school teachers, and think of them fondly, you may feel the same way after GoIT. I had very qualified teachers; sometimes, it was not easy to pass assignments, and often the mentor would focus on those places where I felt that I had not fully understood something, even though everything seemed to be working properly. This approach encouraged me to go deeper into the material again. Access to learning materials was also well established. There were structured notes and videos that I can use even after the course is over. As a bonus, I also received a series of lessons that were not included in the course, such as TypeScript and React Native. In addition to the teachers, the group was assigned a manager who helped with organizational issues. So, in general, I am very satisfied, the training system is built with high quality and special thanks to the teachers, it is clear that they love their job and are pros.... Read Less DigitalCrafts

Financing wise was the hardest for me being an out of state remote student which is why I cannot continue to Immersions (Software Development) unfortunately. If you are an out of state student just be mindful or have the full tuition prepared because you cannot get the school's deferred tuition or other help if you cannot get a loan for both halves of the program. As the program is split into two parts (Coding Foundations and Software Development) you can be approved for a Climb loan for the first half and not approved for the second, leaving you with no certification or job assistance and a loan to pay back. If you're in state they have many options and resources available to help you.

Read MoreIn my experience as a Fullstack developer and student of Georgia Tech University coding Boot Camp, I've learned exceptional skills that have prepared me for the workforce. The program will prepare you to code and grasp a deep understanding of the latest technology within the IT industry. Learning to code goes beyond putting fingers to the keyboard, it is about utilizing your current skills, building a network with others, applying what you know, and beating the imposter syndrome. The program has submerged me with industry knowledge and provided an excellent network of people that believe in me and want to see me succeed. It will challenge you to step outside your shell and acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses. Prior to joining the program, I worked in healthcare for the past four years, my specialty was in supply chain management and I used to think I couldn't code. As a minority, I felt that I was inadequate or underserving of having access to building apps and machines. When I first got into the program, I would sometimes doubt my abilities but after connecting with mentors, and having my instructor who also believed in me I feel confident to go into the workforce and get any job I desire. I believe in myself more; I was able to meet others that also didn't have a lot of experience in coding and I felt right at home. If I could give anyone advice it would be to not focus on what you don't know, only focus on what you can learn and the opportunities that will be available after you complete the cohort. I would've believed in myself a long time ago had I known there were support systems out there such as the Georgia Tech Fullstack web development program. My wish is that my testimony inspires others to start believing in themselves and not to ever doubt what you can do. You won't know what you can do until you try, and I look forward to utilizing my new skill to advance in life. I do not regret taking this course. I believe in order to do something big you have to do something you've never done before. I encourage others to sign up for a Boot Camp that aligns with their life goals, when you close your eyes what do you see? If you can conceive it in your mind, you can achieve it physically. This is only the beginning and one of the greatest feelings about learning to code is you don't need to know everything so come with your notebook, computer, and with an open mindset and ready to ask questions because you will be learning as long as you're working in the Tech industry.... Overall, the bootcamp is great - you learn a lot in a short amount of time. I would recommend a bootcamp if you are in a hurry to change careers. That being said, LHL is not responsible for the overarching job market / economic climate. When I graduated every tech giant was doing mass layoffs. Bear that in mind before making a decision. Nothing is guaranteed. After a total of 8 months (which includes 3months of bootcamp) i finally landed a junior dev role. And I was lucky. That being said, the support from career services was good. They help where they can. If I were to use an analogy: they are a passenger in the car you are driving. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. Overall, if you are passionate about tech and want to start your career, give it a go. Life is too short.
For curriculum I would prefer not spending a week on Ruby. I think the curriculum would be better served with an extra week with React or learning Typescript. Pivoting out of Javascript for a week didn't feel worth it to me. On top of that none of the TAs who picked up my request-tickets knew the language. The only fringe benefit of the Ruby week was that it was nice to see the MVC approach. The Bridge

I am more than willing to share a brief testimonial about my experience on Course Report. It would be my pleasure to contribute and provide insights into the path that led me to pursue this career and why I chose to apply to the Boot Camp.
When considering my career path, I realized the growing importance of cybersecurity and its impact on businesses and individuals alike.
My experience with the boot camp exceeded my expectations. The program provided a dynamic and immersive learning environment, which allowed me to develop a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and gain practical skills applicable to real-world scenarios. The hands-on projects and collaborative exercises were particularly valuable, as they enhanced my problem-solving abilities and fostered teamwork. Moreover, the supportive community and mentorship provided by the instructors further enriched my learning experience, the Instructor and his assistants were amazing.
If I were to highlight one favorite aspect of the program, it would be the emphasis on experiential learning. The opportunity to work on actual cybersecurity challenges and apply the knowledge acquired in class not only built my confidence but also prepared me for the demands of the industry. The practical nature of the boot camp ensured that I was well-prepared to tackle cybersecurity issues effectively.
To prospective students considering this path, my advice would be to fully immerse yourself in the program and take advantage of every opportunity to learn and grow. Embrace the challenges and actively participate in class discussions, group projects, and networking events. Additionally, make use of the resources and support available to you, such as the career services and alumni network. Lastly, stay curious, as the field of cybersecurity is constantly evolving, and a thirst for knowledge will enable you to adapt and thrive.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my testimonial on Course Report. You have my permission to copy the verbiage from my Course Report review

The TAs were great as well, and the three of them together created an amazing experience for us. While the class was a very large time commitment (especially with a full-time job), I looked forward to every meeting and had a blast working with my classmates and creating all kinds of different materials that can be added to my portfolio. I had been working in marketing prior to this class, and I still am, but after finishing the boot camp, I feel much more comfortable with my skills and confident in my abilities to be a successful marketing professional. Read MoreFrom day one of the Bootcamp, the teachers kept telling us "Check yourself before you wreck yourself and trust the process". I didn't know what they meant at the time and I questioned everything. Coming from Retail Management as working background with zero experience in the Tech world the Bootcamp was quite intense as well as overwhelming for me throughout the whole 12-week course. A lot of new information was thrown at us every day, and the next day built on the previous one. Apart from the 10-6 daily schedule, I had to grind lots of extra hours of self-studying in order to keep up with the course. But at some point, everything started coming together and the puzzle started becoming more concrete. It's a GREAT program - for everyone - regardless of their background, whether they are coders or non-coders. The teachers and TA are very knowledgeable. They are extremely friendly and patient. The teachers taught me how to code but also how to be patient, be gentle with myself, and work in a team effectively. The management team is polite, friendly, and present. They're always available to help with any issues. The Career Week was very helpful and enlightening in order to help us prepare properly for the job hunt, job interviews, polish our resume and Linkedin profile. I chose Codaisseur mainly for the "No cure- no pay" model that they offer, as tuition fees can be quite stressful while trying to find a job as a junior developer. All and all, I am 100% satisfied with my choice as I found my first job as a Junior API Engineer 5-weeks after my graduation. If you're on the fence (just like me in the beginning) and wondering if you should take Codaisseur Bootcamp or not, please do yourself a favor – take a leap of faith – and GO FOR IT! Be prepared, be ready and enjoy the ride!!... Read MoreI am very happy with my decision to enroll in University of Richmond’s Cybersecurity Bootcamp. I have no previous experience working in IT so I was a bit concerned with making a career change. From the first week of class I felt like I had found what I was looking for, a program to set me up for an entry level position in cybersecurity.John Hui has been my instructor for this Bootcamp. He is very knowledgable on the topics covered and is willing to give real-world examples to help you learn. John is a master at giving you just enough knowledge to find answers on your own. Often a cryptic response to your question will lead you to an “Aha!” moment. This sense of discovery is very gratifying and pushes me to learn more. Truly an amazing teacher!During the course I learned many new concepts about Cybersecurity and got hands-on experience with all kinds of software. The syllabus will guide you through controlling a computer in the command line to building an entire functional cloud system and beyond. The course materials, assignments, projects, and career resources are a complete package. From the start, I feel I’ve had what I needed to succeed. Everyone with the Bootcamp has been very professional and more than helpful. Never did I feel like I couldn't ask a question. Even though I still have another week in the course, I am confident I have the skills to find my desired position. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to break into the Cybersecurity field.... Read MoreI am in the 6 month part time program with about 4 weeks left. This course has been wonderful for me. If you are someone who learns better by doing, this is a great program for you. Classes are engaging. You spend some time learning the material, then immediately go into a breakout room and do an activity based on what you just learned. Each week, you have a project based on the material learned the previous week. It's a great way to keep familiarizing yourself with the material. My instructor and TAs are all great and eager to help you problem solve. The class is really what you make of it. It very much has a "you're an adult it's up to you" mantra to it. There are set due dates on weekly assignments, but you can turn them in late and still get full credit. Tons of material is sent out each week to help prep you for the lessons coming up. There is a career engagement network that you have access to throughout the whole program as well as 90 days after. All the resources are there, you just have to take initiative to use them. It's a bootcamp, they're not going to hold your hand (but they're always there to help if you ask!)... Read Less
