I did a lot of researching when deciding which bootcamp to attend. I decided on this one because the languages and Stack aligned with my desired list of technologies I wanted to learn. However, I received so much more than I expected. My Instructors were, and have been very attentive to all of my questions and struggles. My career coach has guided me every step of the way through job search. She has always been available when I need to talk. The staff as a whole is nothing but attentive and supportive. And even though I have completed my training and career search, they are still there for me. As I am starting my new and first role as a software developer, my instructor is supporting me through my required learning. When they say they support you and give you every tool available to succeed, they mean it. I cannot say enough good things about them. I will also mention that I was a virtual student in a class of in-person students. The instructors made sure that I was included in all class interactions and exercises. I have made so many friends and connections through this experience. It has truly been life changing for me and my family.

I found TTS through a local networking event where a regional representative told me about the bootcamps offered, and I decided to enroll in the Full Stack Web Development course. I had the absolute best time in this course! I learned so much about front-end and back-end development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as specialized frameworks to create beautiful web pages and interactive applications. The back-end education and concepts we went over during our object-oriented programming in Java section were also incredibly valuable to me since I do not have a computer science degree. Overall, I would definitely recommend TTS to others who want to change careers or supplement their knowledge because the comprehensive nature of the bootcamp really allowed me to feel confident saying that I am now a full stack developer. Also the TTS community is extremely friendly, and they have been wonderful on a personal level.

I started with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and learned a lot about web development and feel definitely job-ready.
Things which can be improved:
Since it is a very personal experience and it very much depends on everyone's self, I still think that the BootCamp can be a bit more intense. Sometimes there was a bit too much free time between the classes. This time could have been used to dive into details or to teach additional technologies.
But nonetheless, I would definitely come for another BootCamp to Spiced as every Teacher is such a cool person!

I really enjoyed my time at iO Academy. I chose this bootcamp mostly because it seemed to me that they proposed the most complete curriculum and they did not diI really enjoyed my time at iO Academy. I chose this bootcamp mostly because it seemed to me that they proposed the most complete curriculum and they did not disappoint! It was a very intense learning experience, but it is delivered in the best conditions:- small cohorts (up to 8 students) so it is always possible to ask questions and interact with the trainers
- amazing trainers, always available and supportive
- carefully crafted curriculum, it really felt like they refined it year after year to find the best way and timing to go through the curriculum, so I never felt overwhelmed
I also want to point out that they put a really big emphasis on how to work as a software engineer (e.g. working in an Agile team) and not just how to code. I found this extremely valuable (maybe more than the coding?) as it is a huge part of the job and I arrived in my 1st software engineer position really well prepared and knowing what to expect. On the coding side, they were dedicated to teaching us best coding practices. I am currently working in my 1st position as a software developer and so far my line manager has been pleasantly surprised by how much I've learned at iO Academy!
It took me a 4/5 months to land a job but the job market is a bit tough at the moment. I got some valuable advice from their career consultant which helped me land my current position. I would not necessarily expect to just walk into a job straight after the bootcamp (some of the students of my cohort did though!). iO Academy was definitely worth the time and the investment, and I would totally do it again!

Overall, the bootcamp is great - you learn a lot in a short amount of time. I would recommend a bootcamp if you are in a hurry to change careers. That being said, LHL is not responsible for the overarching job market / economic climate. When I graduated every tech giant was doing mass layoffs. Bear that in mind before making a decision. Nothing is guaranteed. After a total of 8 months (which includes 3months of bootcamp) i finally landed a junior dev role. And I was lucky. That being said, the support from career services was good. They help where they can. If I were to use an analogy: they are a passenger in the car you are driving. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. I think that they do a lot of behind-the-scenes work that indirectly benefited me.
Overall, if you are passionate about tech and want to start your career, give it a go. Life is too short.
For curriculum I would prefer not spending a week on Ruby. I think the curriculum would be better served with an extra week with React or learning Typescript. Pivoting out of Javascript for a week didn't feel worth it to me. On top of that none of the TAs who picked up my request-tickets knew the language. I always loved Design and life took me to the path of having to create a website to offer a better way to teach online yoga classes (I am also a yoga teacher) I made myself explore website creation through wordpress and other systems available out there. I was struggling a lot and decided to explore courses online, I didnt knew about UX/UI Dessign until one day doing research to find a design program I came across the UX/UI Boot Camp at UT Austin. It was a game changer to discover the existence of this field that combines the psychology part and foundations of the design taking in acount the user experience and making it a human centered approach, I applied and the admission team contacted me and help me with the whole process from A to Z. It was very helpful to have the assiatance and guidance from the beginning, I trusted completely and was never disppointed. My teachers are amazing and are coaching us with real world tools and projects that will help us to have more confidence and land a job afterwards.

This bootcamp is amazing in many ways. You really work intensively everyday and learn different areas that englobe Data Science and the instructors are trying to implement new aspects to be uptodate, you have classes and right after you jump into solving different problems related to the class and that is where you learn. I also can say that I appreciate that the bootcamp has also invested on the human part of integrating the class and making sure there is social aspects added to it makes it even better. Also, they have a strong focus on helping students into understanding the job market, improve our cv, LinkedIn and understand how that process works in real life.
I also strongly recommend if you have not had any previous coding experience that you merge a little before the course. It is a beginners courses so you will be fine but you will leverage more with a solid base of understanding-

I didn't know what they meant at the time and I questioned everything. Coming from Retail Management as working background with zero experience in the Tech world the Bootcamp was quite intense as well as overwhelming for me throughout the whole 12-week course. A lot of new information was thrown at us every day, and the next day built on the previous one. Apart from the 10-6 daily schedule, I had to grind lots of extra hours of self-studying in order to keep up with the course. But at some point, everything started coming together and the puzzle started becoming more concrete. It's a GREAT program - for everyone - regardless of their background, whether they are coders or non-coders. The teachers and TA are very knowledgeable. They are extremely friendly and patient. The teachers taught me how to code but also how to be patient, be gentle with myself, and work in a team effectively. The management team is polite, friendly, and present. They're always available to help with any issues. The Career Week was very helpful and enlightening in order to help us prepare properly for the job hunt, job interviews, polish our resume and Linkedin profile. I chose Codaisseur mainly for the "No cure- no pay" model that they offer, as tuition fees can be quite stressful while trying to find a job as a junior developer. All and all, I am 100% satisfied with my choice as I found my first job as a Junior API Engineer 5-weeks after my graduation. If you're on the fence (just like me in the beginning) and wondering if you should take Codaisseur Bootcamp or not, please do yourself a favor – take a leap of faith – and GO FOR IT! Be prepared, be ready and enjoy the ride!!
