First of all, I have a great support system at home that allowed me to focus 100% on this course for 4 months. I was able to take a recourse to prepare me for the full-time program.
The first month was HARD. I thought I was going to give up. The assignments are fast, and I spent all of my free time studying. It was difficult not to compare where I stood to others in my class. At my toughest moment, I reached out to my Career Services Manager and my TA. They both helped encourage me and offer support when I needed them.
I would say the most important take-aways for those looking to join the bootcamp: Make sure you have a support system. Don't compare yourself to others in the class. Stay dedicated and find the motivation behind why you're doing this.
Coding Dojo has great resources throughout the course, that continue on for 6 months after you graduate. There is also an option to pay more for a yearly alumni pass.LearningFuze

If you're reading these reviews, it's likely you're in the process of doing your due diligence researching all the bootcamp options to start/transition your carIf you're reading these reviews, it's likely you're in the process of doing your due diligence researching all the bootcamp options to start/transition your career as a programmer. I was in your shoes in January of 2023, and currently, in Sept 2023, I am a junior software engineer, thanks to LearningFuze. Anyone can share what the course consists of and LFZ website provides all the information you need to feel assured that you're really in good hands. Therefore, I'll share my personal background and experience to add more context to why LFZ is probably the best choice for a coding BootCamp.
I graduated with a degree in communications and began my career in marketing for a few years. I then decided to transition to software development and looked around at bootcamps and asked my surroundings about their experience with other bootcamps (codesmith, hack reactor, to name a few). Their experience there was great, however, I chose LFZ because they had an in-person course available which I knew personally would be a huge advantage because I engage better in a forced environment. Bootcamp and career change is a huge commitment of time, energy, and money, so I wanted to push myself rather than just choose what is comfortable (since I was able to commute the distance). Being in-person, I was able to create many lasting friendships, network more effectively, and take in the material much better because I didn't have to spend as much excess time and energy required when interacting in an online class setting.
Looking back, now that I am coding professionally, LearningFuze truly prepared me to know how to read and understand life cycles of languages, enough that even when I am no longer actively learning with materials, homework, and projects, I am able to ask the right questions, figure out what the issue is, and essentially know how to use various tools and languages on my own.
LearningFuze teaches you ways to keep learning on your own without guidance as you graduate. Yes, there is tons of material they cover that prepares you with the fundamentals of programming. Yes, you are placed in a setting similar to real-life dev environment to familiarize you with what it's like to really work in the field. Yes, You will be ready to start a junior position. I think personally, the biggest takeaway was that currently at work, I'm able to read a line of code, understand what's happening, and what I need to do next to address a bug, problem, or build something. This skill, is what LearningFuze provided me with, and I can take it with me any dev job and succeed regardless of what language a company uses, because it's not simply a tool they teach you, LearningFuze truly builds you into a developer.- 273Reviews2CoursesBitlabs is an Indonesian-based tech training academy that offers 20-week intensive bootcamps in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Full-stack Web Developm... FEmbarking on a journey to learn something new can be intimidating, but my experience with beginner-friendly classes at Zuitt was nothing short of exceptional. From the outset, the environment exuded warmth and encouragement, making it an ideal space for novices to thrive.
One of the standout features of these classes is their unwavering commitment to being beginner-friendly. The instructors have a remarkable ability to break down complex concepts into digestible, easy-to-understand nuggets of knowledge. Whether you're stepping into the world of painting, coding, or dance, the instructors patiently guide you through the basics, ensuring a solid foundation before moving on to more advanced techniques.
The accommodating nature of the classes is truly commendable. I found the instructors to be approachable and understanding, creating an atmosphere where questions are not just welcomed but encouraged. They foster an environment that embraces curiosity, making the learning process feel like a collaborative journey rather than a solo endeavor. This inclusivity is particularly reassuring for beginners who may feel hesitant about asking questions or seeking clarification.
The instructors at Zuitt are not only knowledgeable but also possess excellent teaching skills. Their passion for the subject matter shines through in their engaging lessons, making even the most intricate topics accessible to newcomers. What sets them apart is their ability to adapt to the varied learning styles of the participants, ensuring that each individual feels supported and can progress at their own pace.
Moreover, the instructors go the extra mile to create a sense of community among participants. Whether through group activities, collaborative projects, or casual discussions, they foster a supportive network that extends beyond the classroom. This camaraderie not only enhances the learning experience but also provides a valuable support system for beginners as they navigate the challenges of acquiring new skills.- 117Reviews4CoursesMAX is an Information Technology upskilling and reskilling business that offers over 600 part-time and full-timeclass offerings, including Cyber Security, Fu... Especially deep dive on programming languages, choose at list one with beginner level, because as much as you are prepared as much you will gain from bootcamp. Prebootcamp studies are offered with strong reason to help you go through the new way much easier and as I mentioned above gain maximum from the program.Don't be shy to ask the questions - you should go through this pain :) and during the program look through the topics in advance.I hope short story of my coding journey will be helpful for you.Wish you good luck rising developer.SincerelyInga iO Academy

I chose this bootcamp mostly because it seemed to me that they proposed the most complete curriculum and they did not disappoint! It was a very intense learning experience, but it is delivered in the best conditions:- small cohorts (up to 8 students) so it is always possible to ask questions and interact with the trainers
- amazing trainers, always available and supportive
- carefully crafted curriculum, it really felt like they refined it year after year to find the best way and timing to go through the curriculum, so I never felt overwhelmed
I also want to point out that they put a really big emphasis on how to work as a software engineer (e.g. working in an Agile team) and not just how to code. I found this extremely valuable (maybe more than the coding?) as it is a huge part of the job and I arrived in my 1st software engineer position really well prepared and knowing what to expect. On the coding side, they were dedicated to teaching us best coding practices. I am currently working in my 1st position as a software developer and so far my line manager has been pleasantly surprised by how much I've learned at iO Academy!
It took me a 4/5 months to land a job but the job market is a bit tough at the moment. I got some valuable advice from their career consultant which helped me land my current position. I would not necessarily expect to just walk into a job straight after the bootcamp (some of the students of my cohort did though!). iO Academy was definitely worth the time and the investment, and I would totally do it again!

What's great about it?
- Self-paced learning: you are in charge on when to study and how much time to dedicate, so you are in control of your progress
- Study material: the material is well-structured and easy to follow, even if you are a complete beginner. The course is made out of Modules which are split into Sprints which are further split into Parts. So step-by-step, part-by-part, sprint-by-sprint you build the skillset necessary for a Data Analyst. This way it doesn't feel overwhelming for a beginner to tackle a completely new topic/software
-
Peer-to-peer reviews: this was one thing that I was anxious about when deciding if I'd like to join Turing - how could I as a student review and rate others' work? Turns out, there was nothing to worry about and in fact, it's a great learning tool:
- You refresh your own knowledge on the subject you have already passed
- You learn new tricks from others that you haven't known yourself
- You truly see that there is no one correct answer and appreciate numerous different approaches to the same project
- You meet many enthusiastic learners and share your experiences
- You get to share tips and tricks which help others to improve
- You get to be part of the success story of the other learner, feeling proud when you see the system notification saying that they passed the project successfully
-
Online support: I have tried self-paced online courses before, but none provided the sufficient support, while at Turing College you can get it in multiple ways:
- Stand-ups: in weekly stand-ups you meet other learners and each get to ask a question and then discuss with the group
- Open sessions: multiple sessions are available throughout a day where you can log on, ask a dedicated person a question, get help, and then jump back to studying. Those who prefer to study over the weekends are not left alone - there are open sessions on Saturdays and Sundays as well.
- Discord: I have never seen an online community which supports its peers so much - all you need to do is drop a message in Discord asking for help and you'll get it, usually you won't even need to wait for 5 minutes, learners come to each other's aid without hesitation. Couple of times I saw a pop-up about a new message, went immediately to respond, but while I was typing someone else beat me - it's that fast.
-
Project reviews: it's a great way to ensure that you are making good progress and get feedback:
- Peer reviews: it's great to get a second pair of eyes on your project from a fellow learner who has already passed the same project. They notice things you might have missed and share the knowledge they gained while working on the project. They also help ensure that your project is ready to take to the Senior Team Lead review.
- Senior Team Lead reviews: having a 1-2-1 review with STL has been really valuable so far. Not only do they have a vast knowledge on the subject, they can also share best practices that happen in 'real world' as opposed to textbooks.
- Deadlines: while having a pressure of deadlines is not my favourite thing in life, so far it's helped me stay motivated and ensure I progress at a good pace, something I haven't experienced in any other self-paced learning places
Overall, I'm very happy to be studying at Turing College and would definitely recommend it to others.Refactory

They made sure to review the previous day's work all the time and introduced the students to stand-ups early in the program.
I came into TechLaunch with prior programming knowledge and skills but even with those skills I found that I lacked the skill to think critically, that is what I believe was a major achievement for me attending TechLaunch. One of a web developer's super power is to have the ability to learn because technology is evry changing. TechLaunch develops this skill by putting its students through rigorous but achieveable tests and challenges.
I am glad I got to attend TechLaunch and graduate. If you get the chance and get accepted into the program, don't pass it up.

This section is just so that you can gauge if what I wrote below applies to your situation. I learned programming mostly on my own and only became a Codecool student because I found I needed help in getting a job. I also followed the courses of another company (Scoala Informala de IT <- would not recommend), but this was after I had a decent understanding of the Java programming language. I started learning Java at about 32 years old, and I joined Codecool when I was 36. I finished their courses in 8 months and got hired about 2 months after I finished.
The good:
- You will be surrounded by a community of people willing to help you learn how to code. I'm not talking here about the mentors necessarily (though they will definitely help you... if you set your shame aside and ACTUALLY GO ASK THEM), but about the other students.
- The curriculum is decent and, based on what I heard, it somehow got better AND shorter.
- The job guarantee, although not a guarantee per se (more about that in the next section), is real. If your attitude is not that of a jackass, you will get hired through them. This was the main selling point for me, because even though you can indeed learn to program from Udemi, that doesn't mean anyone will actually hire you.
- You will also learn how to hold presentations for your projects, a skill that, from recent experience, seems to be just as important as writing code.
The bad:
- The curriculum is a roller coaster ride to go through for somebody with no experience in programming. As people have probably already told you if you're planning on becoming a student, the course is a full time job, and you will most likely not be able to also work for the majority of the courses duration.
- Some of the mentors attitude towards mastery based learning can degrade to "figure it out yourself" without them leading you to the right way of doing things. This statement needs more clarification, as for somebody who hasn't programmed before it probably means that the mentor should be there to help with their the majority of their problems. This is not the case though because learning how to research and troubleshoot are also things that students need to learn. I'm talking about stamping out bad solutions that would make your potential employer shake their head in disagreement if they read the code.
- The HR/marketing team will sugarcoat the contract terms heavily. Now I don't blame them, in fact I'd do the same if I were them, however I still want to point it out. If you read the contract though you will know exactly what you're getting into. The terms are not for the faint of heart. If you won't read them, you'll grieve about how horrible the service is. Either way, it's on you. For example you're not actually guaranteed a job, you're guaranteed 6 interviews, but if needed the number of interviews you're allowed to take can be increased (the way I read this paragraph from the contract is that if you're a decent human being they will help you get hired. If not, they'll provide the 6 interviews and then "bye bye". And also it helps protect against abusers who will wait for a year and not have to pay for the course. Bottom line, read the contract).Awesome Inc U

Originally a marketer, I wanted to change my career and learn new skills in the wake of the Covid19.
Being a total computer-illiterate, I joined the Fullstack Intensive course after a positive impression by Kyle and Judy.
Even though the courses were not cheap, it is still much affordable than most tech bootcamps in the US or Europe.
As I am now landing an internship in an AI company, I can say the curriculum was well-done and useful. It provides good fundamentals in Front and Back-end as well as the skills in demand on the job market.
All the workers (from the founders to teachers and interns) are nice, friendly and helpful. I wish to thank them for that.
Big thumbs up for the Job Support also. The school provides a custom-made assistance for the students, sharing with them internships/job opportunities and counselling regarding their visa status.
On the other hand, it is called intensive for a reason: do not even think of joining if you are not committed.
Keep in mind learning new skills and finding a job is a very taxing process. Especially if you have zero scientific/technical background.
As far as I am concerned, it was a very stressful experience.
If that's the case, be kind to yourself. Work on your portfolio, stick around and look for internships.
To conclude, Wcoding will give you the tools, the guideline and the proper environment to start a career in the Tech Industry.
Nonetheless, you will need a lot of time and even more practice to land the job of your dreams at Google.
It is hard, but it is doable.
Now go coding.
Pros:
- Teaches useful coding languages and essential coding skills (much more effective than self-studying)
- Great team: teachers and developers will always make time to listen to you and help you work on your projects.- Our main teacher Marie was professional and encouraging with a non non-sense attitude.
- You learn by doing.- Sets you on track for the job market.- Able to network with other developers.
- The school never gives up on you as long as you don't give up on yourself.
Suggestions:
-How about a slightly longer learning period ?
-Create programs based on each student's level (beginner, faux-beginner, experienced and so on...)
-Hire more teachers
-More counselling about personal development for each student.
