Wild Code School

It was a very nice experience to study with Wild Code School Lisbon campus. Our course was hybrid, meaning some students were on site, some were joining remotely (myself participated remotely). The teacher (Cristina Zapullo) managed this situation very well, regularly checked-in for remote students to be updated about their progress, challenges, etc. 
Campus manager (Nuno Bento) was also very available and he was supportive in finding solutions for any issue may arised.
The curriculum was well-structured, the different parts were built-on each other in a logical order. I appreciated, that there were some differences in the teaching material, some with more video, some with more examples, etc. so we could see different approaches. 
The final client project was also well chosen, we needed to well combine both technical and soft skills, learnt during the course.

I was a student at WCS and didnt like it at all!!
Its a waste of time and money in my opinion (IMO).

The best thing i took from this experience was that (a) i wont ever again pay to study (unless my employer requires it), and (b) i dont like how the standard IT companies work, but even that you can search and find on the web - just like it is!

With 4000-5000 euros you can do WAYYYYY more than what you will get after your bootcamp at WCS, IMO. For instance, you could take online courses (way cheaper than popular / expensive bootcamps) at your own pace via

(just to mention a few)

If you are joining an in-person bootcamp cause you wanna hang out with some people, you dont need to pay 4000-5000 for that. Just contact your friends and/or use social media to gather a bunch of people who´d like to join you on some online learning journey :)

Also, if you are taking the bootcamp because of the final certificate, it wont be necessary at all to get a job - virtually all employers will make you some quick tests to attest your knowledge before you get hired. Moreover, many online courses also grant certificates.

And believe me, by taking your own learning path instead of enrolling in an expensive bootcamp you would save enough money for a 1-3 week awesome vacation in some of your favorite destinations.

Starting the on-site data analyst in Brussels in march 2020 we spent one week on-site after being obliged to learn from home.  
The teacher and campus manager created a real link between learners by setting some recurring events.
The courses are based on different projects and you will learn everything you need to take your project to an end.
You we learn to use python and SQL and different data visualization tools (powerBI, tableau)
I found a data analyst job 3 month after leaving the bootcamp

Intensive training over 5 months allowing you to have an overview of the world of data and the acquisition of the main knowledge and skills to launch yourself into the profession of Data Analyt! The innovative pedagogy of the Wild, based on a reversed pedagogy (application of resources, then detailed course to explain the difficulties encountered), promotes mutual aid between Wilders. Moreover, the resources made available via the Odyssey platform and the courses given by the trainers are the keys to a complete learning experience and establish the foundations for an autonomous deepening of the acquired knowledge. 

Amazing atmosphere, very good teachers and a very nice community. It was a life-changing decision to study at this institute. I went from a two-year job frustration to doing what I love for the rest of my life. We prepared projects for real clients, theyhelped me prepare my CV and my Linkedin professional profile, and they also collaborate with the students in the search for job opportunities. I already delivered 5 freelance frontend developer jobs just 5 months after graduating and I’m looking gradually for a full time position at the moment.

Before the Wild Code School, I used to make showcase and e-commerce websites with WordPress. It was not really hard but also not very challenging as it required no particular skills in web development.

One day a client requested a quotation for a complex web application. I could not accept the gig because that was something I wasn't capable of. I realized I was missing out on great opportunities and needed to learn and improve my hard skills.

Then I discovered the Wild Code School and her intensive coding boot camp. In 5 months I learned more than my 2 years at business school. It was such a great experience:

- the pedagogy is really innovative and effective, putting emphasis on personal commitment 
- people are coming from lots of different backgrounds and it creates a diverse and multicultural environment
- compared to a Master program in CS it's way cheaper and you end up with the same skills in web development

However there's no magic, this is an intensive boot camp that will require perseverance and dedication.  The efforts required are demanding but the result is worth it. Today I'm thriving at a top company and I totally recommend this experience to anyone willing to change careers.

My experience at the Wild Code School was very exciting. The training program is intense but we have a lot of tools available like the platform Odyssey. The trainer and Campus Manager are available  at the slightest sign of problems, also the community is big you are never alone and they are a good mutual aid with the others students. if you're a looking for a new challenge in the Web developement Wild Code School is one of the best options.

Actuellement en formation à la Wild Code School de Nantes, on a super formateur, une campus manageuse au top et une plateforme en ligne (Odyssey) ou les développeur de celle si sont a l'écoute des demandes des Wilders ( élève de la formation ).

la formation propose différent format d'apprentissage :
- Quêtes : cours sur la plateforme Odyssey contenant de la théorie sur un sujet en particulier ainsi que des exercice pratique a réaliser sur des site comme CodeSandbox, CodePen ou encore Repl.it
- Dojo : petit atelier de groupe en compagnie du formateur ou nous écrivons du code tour a tour pour répondre a une problématique donner
- live coding : le formateur nous fait une démonstration de code sur un sujet tout en nous faisant participer
- cours : le formateur nous fais un cours sur une notion souvent vue dans des quêtes dans les jours précédent
- projet : par groupe, on nous donne un sujet et nous devons réaliser un site respectant un cahier des charge

Toute journée se commence par un daily stand up ou chacun fais un resumer de comment il a vecu la journée précédente et ce qu'il envisage pour la journée en cours. Chaque jeudi ce daily se fais en anglais.
A la fin de chaque semaine on fais un retrospective de la semaine.

I loved my training at the Wild code school! We were confined after two weeks. The school had anticipated everything and we were able to continue the training without any problem.
The training lasts five months. it's intensive but the program is balanced throughout.
We have them 3 projects and the last one was with a real client. It's a very good experience
The supervisors are available and always listening.

I had the wonderful opportunity to join the Wild Code School in March 2020 and despite the unexpected confinement, I had an unforgettable time. Whether from a human or technical point of view, I came out of it a grown-up. Indeed, between the beginning and the end of the training course, it's day and night.
Confinement obliges, what was partly planned was transferred to telework and the means, tools and measures implemented were for my part very satisfactory. Unfortunately, this could not be the case for everyone, especially for those who were caught unawares.
I also had the opportunity to work and learn with a great team (trainer and students) and they are now my new professional family.
Throughout the training the staff was very available and met all my expectations. Another important point is that once we return to the Wild Code School, we are part of the network, for life!

When I decided to become student to the Wild Code School, the campus manager ensured me that he was 100% sure about the quality of the training and about the fact that it would bring me actual opportunities. 

Now I finished the cursus and I have to say it was true. I feel ready for my new career, I learned an incredible amount of new things in 5 month, not only technical skills but also about myself and the developers culture. Now I receive exciting job offers every week and I'm looking forward to starting my new life. 

The teachers and the manager are extremely involved and professional. I will never regret my decision. I want to sincerely thank them and they now are part of my professional network.

The training is very intense and it will ask you to invest a lot of time, it's not going to be easy, but if you play the game, you can be sure that you'll meet all your expectations.

I’ve had an awesome experience @Wild Code School Lyon, the program is very well made and was tailored to my way of learning things. The courses are thorough and the progression is constant.

Super friendly environment and great support to help you find a job after graduation. Throughout the course, you will work on three different projects (and also participate in a few Hackathons!), which helps tremendously to get hands-on experience. A wide array of Web Development topics is covered in the 5 months of the course, but you also get some great and very useful ‘add-ons’: fake interviews to prepare you for real ones, tech-related guest speakers every week, and also some quizzes to keep things fun. Very nice focus on soft skills too (Agile Method, little tips to take on job interviews with more confidence…). 10/10 recommend!

My experience with WCS school was very positive! We had interesting projects, lots of dojos, live-codings, workshops, different guest speakers, fake interviews to prepare us to the real ones, and more. Our school manager Cosmin and our teacher Leo were both friendly, supportive, and professional. I could really feel that Leo enjoys what he is doing, he organized extra classes, he was adjusting lessons and activities according to our needs and feedback, and he was constantly updating himself with new technologies so we could remain on the cutting edge 🦄
And I'm happy that we had such a manager as Cosmin, who was always there for us, who was taking seriously our complaints and needs regardless how small or big they were, the manager who was very encouraging and made me laugh when I was upset because of a failed job interview! Manager, who created and maintained a positive and supportive environment in our group.
I still can't believe that 5 months went so fast.
P.S. I'm also glad that I started learning JS, HTML, and CSS in advance as the course was really intensive and so I could get more out of it!

If you would like to learn how to code, and how to think in a good way, i recommend you to apply for Wild Code School. 
I graduated like a full-stack developer in Berlin campus, and it was an amazing 5 month!
The campus manager - Cosmin, always create a good athmosphere, and the instructor Leo was always very helpful, and he is well prepared for every aspect of coding. If i had questions i was not stressed to ask that, i always get a fully descriptional answer :)

As a graduate student I recommend this school in 100%. I took the full stack web development course. Course is a combination of workshops / live coding / pair programming / presentations and home assignments. The program is intense but I never felt overworked or too stressed out. Student group was very small (6 people). I managed to maintain a part time job on the side but I wouldn't recommend that. 
Campus manager - Cosmin,  created inclusive and non- competitive atmosphere, constantly checking on our well being. He was responsible for great organisation of guest talks, hackhatons, mock interviews and maintaining our Wedding office (great big space!). Our instructor Leo is an amazing developer and product designer with (seems like) unlimited knowledge. He was really patient and made extra effort to support us as a group but also individually (making sure no-one in class was left behind). 
Good place to start programming career :)

Wild Code School is the best! Let's list the reasons:
1. The teacher- Leo is fantastic. Very inspiring, encouraging and knowledgeable. He prepared many amazing workshops for us, and he was always there when we got stuck with something. He inspired me to think logically, and be creative while problem solving. Well, I still get stuck sometimes, but now I at least know how to handle the problem. 
2. Our campus manager, Cosmin. He spares no efforts in connecting us with companies and also with helping us to find a job. We had a coaching, some workshops, mock interviews and client projects. Now I feel myself quite confident on the job market.
3. Our campus- I loved being there, it is a nice and cosy space, I felt like home.
4. My schoolmates. We were a relatively small group (6 people), that made the communication easier, even when because of the corona we had to continue our course online. There are wonderful people, and it was nice to work on projects with them.
5. The projects, mostly the client project. We had a lot to do, but at the end the product turned out to be really nice, and satisfying. I loved the topic (online education) and we got along really well with our client. I am looking forward to work in a similar project in the future. 

I had no prior experience in coding before joining WCS. But like, really NOTHING. The way the school and weeks are built however, you will ease into the varied structured days, and never suffocate in code and feel like giving up. Because then, you talk about CVs, and interviews. You play games and quizzes. The lectures were amazing and hands-on, workshops are very user-friendly with participation from all students. There are plenty of options to participate in projects, but ultimately its really about the varied learning, and the different skills that you can gather during your bootcamp. Highly recommended!

If in the future I end up working as a developer (which I'm sure I will), it will be Wild Code School's fault! ;) No, for real, I started the bootcamp knowing literally nothing about coding, and these people are teaching me everything. Super quick and super easy.
I'm also improving my soft skills, something usually underrated in a developer, but a game changer in real life.
Our instructor, Marc, is the most patient person I've met, perfect for the job, and the campus manager, Calixto, cheers you even when you're having the worst day (or the worst week, or the worst month).
The campus mood is amazing, and also my classmates. Couldn't ask for more.

Great school, great support from trainer and manager! They make sure we're comfortable and satisfied with everything. The methodology is so amazing you can never get bored. We're already making progress in such a short period of time, it's impressive how fast we're learning things and putting them into practice with real life web development projects. It's a really intense 5-month course, but I'm sure I will be qualified for any job opportunities that'll come up when I finish the course. Would 10000% recommend Wild Code School Dublin to anyone!

I got admitted to Wild Code School Amsterdam's first batch 2020 Web Devp course, 2 days into it and I feel this is the best thing that has happened to me in a while now. The admission process involved an online challenge followed by 2 interviews. The tech interview with Ashleigh (from London) and the personal interview with Edo, our campus Manager went really well, giving me a fair idea that chosing Wild Code is going to be one of the best decisions. We are 2 days into the program now and I already feel that this was one of the best decisions I have made. Their blended learning approach works really well especially for those who are back to studying something after a long time. The gamification of learning is highly motivating ( you get challenges and quests after each topic) and makes the whole learning process fun. What makes them unique is the 5 months duration compared to a lot of 10 to 12 weeks bootcamps you see in Amsterdam city. The campus is located in a central location right off the famous Rijks Museum, making it is easily accesible. We have a no socks policy, and have to agree that it does help is better coding ;-)!! I would highly recommend Wild Code School to anyone around Amsterdam looking to change their career path and get into Web Development. The Curriculum is latest and I am really looking forward to successfully finishing the course to start as a Junior Developer. 

I've just been admitted into the Wild Code School program in London and I must say the admissions process was really smooth! Carolina was a dream, and she radiates positivity. The admissions exercises were difficult, but not too difficult, and the motivational and technical interviews were easy to schedule in and complete. I spoke to Alexis during the technical interview and he was very kind and patient. I haven't started the classes yet, but I can't wait to get started!

Few months ago I decided that was the rigth time to make a change in my career, I started doing some workshops in the tech area and immediately love it, so I decided that I want to engade in a bootcamp. From my research one that got more my attention was the Wild Code School. I got in touch with Ana, the Lisbon campus manager, which explained me more about the school, one of the things that motivated me the most was the fact that we'll have a final project for a real company. After that the process was really fast.. I just have to follow the applications steps: online code class, the challenge exercise, the technical interview with Alexis and the motivational one with Ana.

I'm looking forward that the adventure begins.

 First of all, I was attracted by the content of the training. Then the proposed format, the support from the first contacts made me choose the Wild Code School. In addition to offering quality education with good instructors, there is a good atmosphere within the school. We help each other regularly and we show solidarity. This is necessary because the training is very intense. A great experience!
