Coding Bootcamp Praha is right place for you!As a Graduate of the spring 2021 program, I can say I really love the time I spend with Coding Bootcamp Praha, and I was very upset that it’s over.Great Team, with great patience and understanding to them who can ask stupid question and maybe the same question more than 2 times :).Syllabus is built very fairly as for totally beginners as for people who have more knowledge in this field.Challenges and Hackathons were the great way to sum up passing materials. And overall, the program gives you knowledge how to learn, because for rising as a developer is very important to know how to learn even after graduating the bootcamp. The job-hunting workshops and feedbacks from recruitment professionals was great opportunity to understanding general market situation and your real advantages and rooms for improvement. No matter which bootcamp u will choose, it is very important spend as much as possible time on prebootcamp studies, which for example was provided by Coding Bootcamp Praha. Especially deep dive on programming languages, choose at list one with beginner level, because as much as you are prepared as much you will gain from bootcamp. Prebootcamp studies are offered with strong reason to help you go through the new way much easier and as I mentioned above gain maximum from the program.Don't be shy to ask the questions - you should go through this pain :) and during the program look through the topics in advance.I hope short story of my coding journey will be helpful for you.Wish you good luck rising developer.SincerelyInga... Read MoreI came to this review site before quitting my job and doing this bootcamp, so I thought it would be nice to come full circle and leave a review after starting my career in tech. Overall, the bootcamp is great - you learn a lot in a short amount of time. I would recommend a bootcamp if you are in a hurry to change careers. That being said, LHL is not responsible for the overarching job market / economic climate. When I graduated every tech giant was doing mass layoffs. Bear that in mind before making a decision. Nothing is guaranteed. After a total of 8 months (which includes 3months of bootcamp) i finally landed a junior dev role. And I was lucky. That being said, the support from career services was good. They help where they can. If I were to use an analogy: they are a passenger in the car you are driving. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. I think that they do a lot of behind-the-scenes work that indirectly benefited me.... Read Less
Overall, if you are passionate about tech and want to start your career, give it a go. Life is too short.
For curriculum I would prefer not spending a week on Ruby. I think the curriculum would be better served with an extra week with React or learning Typescript. Pivoting out of Javascript for a week didn't feel worth it to me. On top of that none of the TAs who picked up my request-tickets knew the language. The only fringe benefit of the Ruby week was that it was nice to see the MVC approach. NEXT Academy

Throughout the course, I felt supported by the trainer in the parts I found difficult and encouraged with those that I found simple. We were encouraged to work together as much as we were to work on our own. This approach has really helped me acclimatise to my new working environment.
The syllabus itself has a broad range of topics that gradually introduce you to many of the topics that you might run into as a junior. The focus on theory, practical and then projects helped to ingrain the knowledge and best practices.
Near the end of the course there was a particular focus upon getting us ready for entering the professional sphere. On top of this the Academy has many industry partners that know the curriculum and are more than happy to take on the right graduate when they have places.

- Comprehensive Web Development Course - Zuitt's main package focuses on teaching the MERN stack, which is a popular set of technologies used in web development. The course lasts for 2 months and provides a comprehensive introduction to full-stack web development.
- Flexible Schedules - Zuitt offers two schedules for their main package, a full-time 8AM to 5PM schedule and a part-time 5:30PM to 9:30PM schedule. This provides flexibility for those who are working or have other commitments during the day.
- Career-Friendly Curriculum - Zuitt's teaching and curriculum are friendly to career-shifters and those without prior experience in web development.
- Payment Options - Zuitt offers flexible payment methods for those who are not able to pay the full amount upfront. This helps students who are on a tight budget to take advantage of the bootcamp without worrying about the financial burden.
- Short Courses - After the main course, students are entitled to 8 short course credits, which can be used to take other courses that teach other languages and technologies (Python, PHP, etc.). This helps students to add to their credentials and become more versatile in their skillset.
- Job Assistance Program - Zuitt provides a job assistance program to help graduates find employment in tech companies. They conduct monthly check-ups to track the job employment status of the graduates and also provide them with a list of vacancies in tech companies.
Cons:
- Online Only - Zuitt's classes are conducted entirely online, which may be a challenge for those who are accustomed to traditional face-to-face classes. This may require an adjustment period for some students.
- Intensive Coursework - The course can be quite intensive, especially for those who do not have a strong foundation in logic. This may require students to dedicate more time and effort to keep up with the coursework.
In summary, Zuitt Coding Bootcamp is a good option for those who want to learn web development and start a career in tech. They offer a comprehensive course, flexible schedules, career-friendly curriculum, and a job assistance program. However, the online-only setup and intensive coursework may be challenging for some students.Launch School

The program focuses on fundamentals of programming and software engineering including core problem solving, programming language fundamentals, object-oriented programming, networking, databases, and guides students through a structured path of building up proficiency in software development. The program consists of two main phases: Core Curriculum and Capstone. The Core Curriculum uses a mastery-based learning pedagogy to teach fundamentals of software development. It takes approximately 1200-1800 hours (8-16+ months) to complete, and students can choose either a Ruby or JavaScript focused track through Core. After that, there is an optional and admissions-based Capstone Program that's focused on helping students acquire career-launching opportunities. online resources. I was working full-time, and my efforts up to that point had not been too
successful. But the moment I started reading Launch School materials was the moment my
studies started building towards something bigger. “This process will take longer than you
want it to, but if you take your time and do things the right way, it will be worth it.” It was a
message I didn’t really want to hear after I had already put a year into the effort, but a
message I knew that I needed to hear anyway. No other course I had tried was stating this
truth so clearly and honestly. I knew up front that the first two or three months of Launch
School would cover material that I already knew well, and I would feel a bit frustrated at
first about “starting over”. Nevertheless, I jumped in right away, with the realistic
expectation that it might take another two years or more before I could accept a job offer.
Friends and family were incredulous when I shared my excitement about this program, but
there was no reason for me not to be hopeful. The pedagogy–starting from the ground up,
building mastery of fundamentals, verifying the knowledge of students before allowing
them to continue, and slowly building confidence through that verification–made all the
sense in the world to me. And Launch School had the results to back up their claims, not only
with numbers, but with real people. Engineers with credentials, people who had been
through the process and were now working for amazing companies, were hanging around
in the chat channels, answering questions and talking about their work. I trusted the
process from the beginning because I was convinced that everything about Launch School
was genuine.
To make a long story short, the process worked. The Core Curriculum taught me the
fundamental concepts I needed, and at my own part-time pace. Capstone extended and
integrated that knowledge by cultivating it in a dedicated, full-time, team-based
environment. Working every day with other students, and with program graduates as
mentors, I was able to learn interviewing skills and contribute to the development of an
amazing product. I began to feel proficient. Capstone prepared me so well for the hiring
process that, once I finally started interviewing, I was full of confidence, and there were no
surprises. I knew I belonged in those hiring pools because Capstone had given me the
preparation I needed.
After finishing Capstone, I secured a job as a Senior Software Engineer within six weeks,
with essentially the Capstone average salary–a higher salary that I had originally hoped for.
Now it’s been a year since I graduated. I’m at a company where I love to work, and I’m able
to jump into any task or project that interests me and find my way thanks to my strong
background in the fundamentals. I work at a company that supports continuing education,
gives me a voice in what projects I work on, and has a clear path to promotion and career
development. My family is able to buy a new house. And honestly, this is all thanks to Launch
School. I was nowhere close to making this kind of progress after a year of self-study. But
after less than two years in Launch School, I had everything that I needed to get a great job
as an engineer and build a lifelong career. The same has been true for many others, and I
would recommend Launch School, the Core Curriculum and Capstone, as an excellent
choice for anyone who is interested in starting a career in software engineering.- 85Reviews8CoursesThe University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies Boot Camps offer a 12-week, full-time and 24-week, part-time web development program, 24-week, part-ti... An advice I would give to new students would be not to slack - trust me on that. If you miss a week or a day lecture, it will be hard to catch up (but not impossible!) and the ripple effect is severe. Make sure that before you apply, that you are conscious of the time commitment for the next 6 months, it is intense but the reward and what you learn through this course is so helpful - I keep saying, it's like school but you can apply everything you do readily in the workplace, and side projects you may have going on.
The professor/instructor and the supporting TAs were amazing and always helpful and hands-on on the slack channel if you're running into issues with the material. There was also a great resource called AskBCS which is a 24/7 support that you can ask questions regarding the course material or if you're stuck on assignments. With e-learning, I think the course is fully rounded and well structured to provide the students with what they need.
And the best part also, you get to work with other amazing peeps for your capstone project at the end. Sharing of knowledge, making friends and who knows, a potential contact that can help our for a future opportunity! The Bridge

Read MoreZip Code Wilmington doesn't just emphasize a single coding language, attempting to pass you off as an expert in a short time frame. ZCW focuses on not just providing you with core concepts, but teaching you how to teach yourself with just a single thread to start with. My learning path in the course was Java, and then using a bit of react and javascript. My job after Zip Code is based entirely in C# and Angular. I was nervous at first but after my first day and looking through codebases, I realized that anything I didn't understand about what I was looking through, I knew how to learn about, because Zip Code ensured that. They do a good job of letting you speak up as you need help, rather than assuming everyone wants the same kind of assistance. In addition to the staff supporting you when you have questions, ZCW always reiterates the importance of working as a team of peers. The expectation is almost never that you can't share information, and almost always a matter of sharing knowledge you've gained with others in the course who haven't picked those skills up yet. It's a very busy 3 months, but they're incredibly worth it.... Read Less Techmongers

Read MoreFrom day one of the Bootcamp, the teachers kept telling us "Check yourself before you wreck yourself and trust the process". I didn't know what they meant at the time and I questioned everything. Coming from Retail Management as working background with zero experience in the Tech world the Bootcamp was quite intense as well as overwhelming for me throughout the whole 12-week course. A lot of new information was thrown at us every day, and the next day built on the previous one. Apart from the 10-6 daily schedule, I had to grind lots of extra hours of self-studying in order to keep up with the course. But at some point, everything started coming together and the puzzle started becoming more concrete. It's a GREAT program - for everyone - regardless of their background, whether they are coders or non-coders. The teachers and TA are very knowledgeable. They are extremely friendly and patient. The teachers taught me how to code but also how to be patient, be gentle with myself, and work in a team effectively. The management team is polite, friendly, and present. They're always available to help with any issues. The Career Week was very helpful and enlightening in order to help us prepare properly for the job hunt, job interviews, polish our resume and Linkedin profile. I chose Codaisseur mainly for the "No cure- no pay" model that they offer, as tuition fees can be quite stressful while trying to find a job as a junior developer. All and all, I am 100% satisfied with my choice as I found my first job as a Junior API Engineer 5-weeks after my graduation. If you're on the fence (just like me in the beginning) and wondering if you should take Codaisseur Bootcamp or not, please do yourself a favor – take a leap of faith – and GO FOR IT! Be prepared, be ready and enjoy the ride!!... Read LessBottega

Read MoreI researched several boot camps before choosing Bottega and I'm glad I did. The instructor was with us every day with the goal of making sure we understood the material. Was it intense? For sure! I mean this is web development! But repetition breeds familiarity so hard work and success in the program go hand in hand. I read beforehand many people recommending part time instead of a full time boot camp. I would say now that is wrong. You want an instructor with you. Go full time. Also, embrace the struggle. You're going to struggle for sure, but that is where the deepest learning happens. Mistakes are fantastic because you remember them and learn a lesson! To sum up, go to Bottega and go full-time! You won't regret it!... Read MoreMy degree is in Economics and my first job out of school was in NYC at a large financial institution. It was a great first job but I learned that I would thrive more in a startup culture at that time so I called my friend who was the CEO and Founder of Super Coffee and we met for coffee one morning. I told him I wanted to do what he was doing. Build something from the ground up. He thought I would be a great fit in Food & Beverage and two weeks later he offered me a job, which was to build an ecommerce Wholesale Program.
In this role, I loved identifying who my target audience was, pitching the products, gathering feedback, negotiating pricing and even some exclusive distribution agreements. In 6 months, we had over 500 SMB customers and brand partnerships with Barry's Bootcamp, Solidcore, & SoulCycle.
In March, 2020 our company signed a Master Distribution Agreement with Anheuser Busch InBev and I was promoted to Director of Brand Operations. My job was to serve as the singular interface between senior leadership at both companies. It was in this role that I discovered my passion for executing start-to-end project plans that align with company priorities and synergize cross functional teams, key stakeholders, and workflows. After two wildly successful years, we accomplished the mission and fully integrated with AB InBev's systems, processes, and tech platforms and partnered with over 400 distributors nationwide selling over $100M in Super Coffee.
Around February 2022, I was in Pennsylvania visiting family and my dad and I were eating breakfast together. He's been programming for 40 years and it got me thinking. Why hadn't I ever thought to try? Genetically, maybe I'd be good?! The next morning, I was targeted with an ad on Twitter for UT Austin's Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp so I thought, what the hell, and applied. Sure enough, I was soon accepted and was pressed with a decision to make. After having conversations with my family and girlfriend, I decided to take the leap so I resigned from my job and enrolled.
We are just over the halfway point of the bootcamp and I can confidently say it was the right decision. This experience has been such a blessing in my life! It has given me the career clarity I needed. I intend on blending my experience as an enthusiastic and effective Project Manager with my blooming technical skillset to pivot into a Product Management position!
Overall, I've had such a positive experience with The Coding Boot Camp at UT Austin. Our instructor is wicked smart and breaks complicated concepts down in a way that allows us to internalize them easier. The rest of the instructional staff is top notch as well; and last but certainly not least, our Student Success Manager, who is always there for support! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my amazing tutor, who has played a huge role in my development as well.
My favorite aspect about the program is unequivocally my cohort. We have such a diverse, talented, kind, and fun group. I am super grateful for you all for organizing study groups to iron down tougher concepts, sending funny memes in Slack and Discord channels, and always being there to help.
Advice I would give to other prospective students to ensure success:- Attend office hours regularly
- Use the maximum number of tutoring sessions allowed
- Don't be afraid to speak up and ask questions
- Be compassionate with yourself and your classmates
- Track the amount of time you put in studying, researching, or doing homework outside of class. It motivates you to put in more time when you can see your performance visually.
- Get started on the Career Services milestones early. At a minimum, ensure your LinkedIn profile and resume are optimized by the end of the bootcamp so you can apply to jobs immediately.
- Don't be afraid to fail. This bootcamp isn't easy but with a positive, growth mindset, you can not only pass but excel!

While it may not be as well known as schools like Hack Reactor or App Academy, I have absolutely no doubt that I made the right decision with Rithm. The curriculum is second to none. You learn the latest technologies and the curriculum is changing all the time in order to make sure you’re learning the latest and greatest. All of the teachers are incredible. My lead instructor was Joel, and he is one of the best educators I’ve ever had the privilege to learn from. It genuinely seems like he knows or has connections to every big name in tech today. Every staff member felt dedicated to seeing me succeed and always took the time to make sure every question I had was fully answered.I also felt like the small class size helped not only helped with one on one instructor time, but also with building meaningful relationships with all of my classmates. We still talk on a weekly basis even two months out from class, and I expect we’ll continue to stay in contact and help each other through our careers. The alumni network is fantastic too. Plenty of talented people front all types of companies were going out of their way to help me navigate the job application and interviewing process. Once I’m settled in my new role (landed a job 6 weeks from graduating) I look forward to returning the favor to new Rithm grads.I’m so grateful for all of the support and quality education I’ve received via Rithm School and I can’t imagine making the big career change that I did without them....
