Overall Experience:
Uplift's Python for Data and AI bootcamp is dense, not just in building coding knowledge and skills, but also in intensively introducing data analytics and data science thinking to give context to what students are building. Highly recommend for those looking to upskill or shift careers.

Instructors:
Having "Student Success" and technical instructors creates a balanced mental and learning environment. The instructors do their best with the material they have, despite the bootcamp's fast pace, while also cultivating a supportive community and providing the best assistance they can to the students.

Curriculum:
There's a good balance between the taught and self-taught aspects of the topics. There's room to pursue one's own research on what's being taught and beyond. While also gaining 1-on-1 mentorship with the instructors. Most importantly, learning through collaboration (group projects) is one of the few key highlights of this bootcamp. Hopefully, in the future, the curriculum could also include a short-term internship for students to gain insight into how the industry works and show how and where the skills from the bootcamp are put to use.  

Job Assistance:
The HR and Technical assessments integral to the curriculum provide students a light simulation of industry-grade expectations for data roles in the current job market.  The bootcamp also assists graduates in landing jobs through its career portal and alumni network.  Read less

It was a very beneficial experience for upskilling. The instructors were excellent and guided me every step of the way. Whether or not students had prior experience, they treated everyone equally and made sure each student understood the topic before moving on. This bootcamp is a good start for individuals who want to learn web programming with a non-tech background. Although focused on Java for backend web development, it also introduces beginner-level programming concepts for frontend web development to deploy a website. The instructor is easy to approach and his explanations are clear and easy to understand for a beginner like me. One-on-one meetings can be set to ask questions directly to instructor. Besides programming, soft skills like project management and effective learning are also taught. This also has mock HR and technical interviews to prepare students in applying for developer jobs.  I still remember stumbling upon Uplift Code Camp on Facebook. At the time, I was self-learning software development, but I wanted a structured education—something that would help me to learn better. Now, six months later, as a proud graduate, I can confidently say it was more than worth it.

Classes were never dull—the teaching staff made learning engaging and fun while ensuring we truly understood the material. But It also goes beyond coding, we had multiple sessions where it wasn't  programming but essential real-world skills which I really appreciated. I recently graduated from the Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp at Uplift Code Camp, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions and investments I’ve made for myself.

     I was lucky enough to have joined in the Uplift Full Stack Web Development Program. My participation uplifted my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Tailwind, Mongo DB, Node JS, and many others. Moreover, I gained knowledge and had an experience in deploying to the web, the projects which I successfully accomplished such as Image Search App, Customize Accessories App, Portfolios, and others. Making your own websites is not that easy because you need to exert effort, spend your time and really think and apply your knowledge in order to make one. In my journey, I have encountered coding problems and errors but I am fortunate to have instructors who are always there to help and share their wisdom.
     This bootcamp is a very good training ground to those who would like to learn about programming and developing websites. Comprehensive lectures and discussions are given in which you will be taught about the basics in website development. Instructors welcome and always recognize our queries. If due to unavoidable circumstances, you missed a session, you have nothing to worry about because the recorded video is provided. I am beyond grateful to the uplift family for this wonderful learning experience that will surely pave me the way in my journey for a brighter future. Classes are live, allowing interaction and questions, and they are also recorded for later viewing. One-on-one consultations with teachers are available whenever we encounter blockers or need assistance. Supportive and understanding environment.

One thing that attracted me to join this bootcamp was because of the schedule they offer. The lessons are strategically spread out in a span of 6 months, perfectly catered for people with an 8-5 work schedule. The sessions start at 7PM, and each session lasts 2 hours and 25 minutes each weekday. This schedule allowed me to absorb the lessons after a taxing day at work.

What truly made this bootcamp invaluable were the very supportive and understanding instructors. Their teachings and guidance created an environment where students help each other instead of competing. Also included in the course is the career booster series where we were taught how to craft resumes, optimize LinkedIn profiles, and simulating technical interviews.

Post-graduation, the guidance never ends because students and alumnis alike are still connected through the dedicated Discord server, a space to share knowledge, job postings, and to network with each other. A community indeed. Read less
