Review: Nucamp Bootcamp Experience I decided to enroll in Nucamp because I wanted to transition into a tech career & It was definitely the right decision for me! The curriculum is well-structured, and the instructors are knowledgeable and supportive. The combination of self-paced learning and interactive workshops made it easy to grasp new concepts and apply them through hands-on projects. One of the highlights of the bootcamp was the sense of community. The active online forums allowed me to connect with my peers and instructors, making the learning experience more engaging and enjoyable. After completing the bootcamp, my goal is to continue growing as a developer and eventually specialize in front-end development. Nucamp has set a strong foundation for my career in tech, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me!

After enrolling in Tech Academy's Cybersecurity Boot Camp, I have been astounded by the program's effectiveness. Despite my limited prior knowledge of computers, the boot camp provided me with a comprehensive education in operating systems, networks, virtual machines, and other essential concepts. As a result, my understanding of cybersecurity has significantly improved, giving me confidence in my ability to pursue a career in this field. One of the things I appreciated most about the boot camp was the hands-on learning opportunities. I was able to work on real-world projects and simulations, which helped me to develop the skills and experience I need to be successful in the tech industry. The coaches are skilled, caring and supportive. They get to know you and really care about your success and wellbeing. The course is very comprehensive and at times intense but not as intense as I was expecting. It was manageable and I learned so much in such a short space of time. I wouldn’t say I felt totally prepared for that first role as a software developer but that’s more because of many companies’ unrealistic expectations on Junior Developers (and maybe a little bit of a self-confidence issue, too - I was a teacher with zero coding experience before making the switch). If you put in the work, you can make that career switch with Makers. They came highly recommended to me and I saw why.

I completed the Web & Software Engineer Master course and I thoroughly enjoyed the course. The lecturers were all awesome and I got a lot out of it. I don't regret enrolling. Très contente du bootcamp Développeur Web et mobile. La formation est très enrichissante, elle permet d'acquérir des compétences solides tant pour les débutants que pour les pro. Le contenu est à jour, c'est un point très très important ! Les enseignants sont très sympas, très pro, ils restent proches des étudiants, pour donner des conseils, des astuces et de l'aide. Ainsi que le CEO du Réacteur Xavier Colombel qui était disponible pour toutes mes questions personnelles. Le principal : il faut être motivé, car la formation est très intense. Surtout quand on débute cela nous prend tout notre temps, et même le WK. Le point pratique (très important pour moi): les cours en ligne sont le matin et l'après-midi nous nous organisons à notre façon pour réaliser les exercices. Dans mon cas j'ai pu m'occuper des enfants après la nounou et reprendre les exercices juste après le couché. Le plateforme est ouvert 24h/24h 7j/7j. En effet, on peut pratiquer le temps qu'on veut et au moment ou l'on peut.

I completed JavaScript Full-Stack Online Mentored Bootcamp and it was really great journey. With zero experience I ended up with solid foundation to build almost any app. It wasn't easy, but very rewarding. You just have to follow the steps in process. I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed my time at Covalence. The videos were very well done, and the labs did a good job of assessing my knowledge of the material. I can’t say enough good things about the instructors. They let me know (literally every day) they were available for any questions I had. They made sure I knew the fundamentals and were positive and encouraging when I was having difficulty with some concept. They were instrumental in helping me set expectations for implementing features in projects, completing projects, and all throughout the job search experience. I felt I was well prepared for searching for jobs, and was hired within a few months.

I graduated jan 2024 and I can say with 100% confidence that I was lured in with false promises of job placement assistance right out of graduation. The program itself was less the mediocre, the instructors are all former students and their understanding of the material is cookie cut and strictly based on "how they did their project". Ask them what a binary tree is, ask them what polymorphism is, ask them what abstraction is, ask them what the law of detmeter is, ask them a question about anything relating to the foundations of software engineering that isnt strictly covered in the reading you are provided and you will get dazzled with bs, or deer in the headlights looks.. The first time my eyebrows were raised was when I heard an instructor boast conversationally about "how hard it was learning about the area of a binary tree". I happen to have a degree in software engineering and I happened to know that there was no such thing that existed. I tried to verify if they meant the diameter of a binary tree and they got visibly annoyed that I would question them and doubled down on their claim. To this day I have no idea what the heck the area of a binary tree is, and neither do the software engineers I graduated with.. They were not aware of my education at that time, but I had just began to become fully aware of their ignorance. After supposedly being one of the top performers that has ever gone through that program (Which by the way is subjective as I was told I was given a 99% on an assignment instead of the 100% I deserved because "they wanted me to work harder"), they ignored my request for a letter of recommendation without an explanation, and upon graduation I was told I would be using a job board with outdated job postings and meet with someone for 30 mins once a week to see how my job search was going. There is no job placement assistance, there is nothing that I saw backing their "Codeboxx for life" promise. Its all recruitment talk and its is, in my opinion, all lies. What really got me worked up is that I requested a letter of recommendation about 2 months prior to graduation while I was working my butt off and "doing very well" so that I could try to get a job lined up, and it went fully ignored. Then upon graduation I am immediately contacted and asked if I can be showcased as a success story to promote codeboxx.. Are you kidding? What in thee narcissistic heck is that?? A success story? Really? Your job placement advertising is a lie. You wouldnt even help me on my job search with a LOR after boasting of how well I was doing.. I couldn't believe my ears, the audacity! This place is a scam, you will be expected to go through the material that you will get little to no assistance with, and will basically end up teaching yourself. Upon graduation, all you have to look forward to is a job board with outdated job posting. This is a waste of time, effort, and energy. You could literally learn the same material, with adequate instruction, using udemy. Heck, go to community college and get actual professors to teach you the same stuff, adequately, with an actual certificate to show for it, at a fraction of the price. (Edit: I just saw that they went back and changed the 90.2% job placement on their website to reflect graduates up until July 2023 because those figures are more like 0%-50% after that.)

Nuova Speranza, so mein Desktop Hintergrund und DCI Mantra, in Anlehnung an einen meiner fantastischen Lehrer mit biografischer Verbindung nach Sardinien (sentimental bewundernde Grüße an Giaco und Rami, an Gaël, Anton, Nicole, Louisa, Ash, Metin, Albert, ...). Denn genau DAS beschreibt umfassend auf das Maximum reduziert in zwei Worten meine durchgehend/ausnahmslos positive Erfahrung mit diesem auf so vielfältige Weise großartigen Bildungsträger. Nuova Speranza. "Neue Hoffnung" also. Im Sinne von neuen, tragfähigen beruflichen Perspektiven, die vor meiner DCI experience schlicht nicht vorstellbar gewesen sind - und das war nur der Einstieg. Mit Bewilligen der Fortbildung durch die Agentur gab es nach gefühlten Nanosekunden auch schon ein detailliertes Kursangebot per Mail gefolgt von einem Anruf meines DCI-Bildungsberaters Bogdan Cosma., der Kursdetails nicht nur leicht verständlich erklärte, sondern in beeindruckend liebenswürdiger Geduld aber auch jede Frage sofort kompetent beantwortete, gar anbot, man könne ihn jederzeit mit jedem Kursanliegen anrufen selbst an Wochenenden. Ein schönes Beispiel für "normative Kraft des Faktischen", solches Engagement setzt Standards, schafft Erwartungen, ist Referenz, die andere erstmal erreichen müssen. So war Bogdan ganz nebenbei Markenbotschafter für DCI, sein Verhalten ließ einiges erhoffen für den inhaltlich durchaus sportlich-ambitionierten Kurs. Diese positive Ahnung wurde dann ein ganzes Jahr lang weit übertroffen in einer mir davor nicht vorstellbaren Weise. Konkret bezogen auf DCI Staff: tatsächlich wären mir in durchaus abwechslungsreicher beruflicher Vita nie zuvor engagiertere Mitarbeiter:innen begegnet, die einen in jeder Form, jeder Funktion, in jedem denkbaren Kursaspekt, bei allen Schwierigkeiten bestmöglich unterstützt haben weit über die eigene Stellenbeschreibung hinaus. Genuin glaubwürdig authentisch mit Herzblut Lichtjahre über "Dienst nach Vorschrift" hinaus. Tatsächlich alle, denen ich das Privileg hatte, zu begegnen. Sie wollen Deinen Erfolg. Wenn Du also das tolle Privileg einer bewilligten Fortbildung im Digitalbereich hast, wirst Du einen qualifizierteren, philanthropischeren, engagierteren Bildungsträger kaum finden können. Idee und Konzept meines Kurses fand ich ohnehin super, sie entsprechen meinen Idealen von einer knallbunten Welt der Gleichen, die in liebevollem Respekt einander wertschätzend unterstützen. Was auch sonst. So hat man schlicht mehr Spaß. Von der Idee zur Tat: Die konkrete Umsetzung schöner Ideale in gelebten Kursalltag fand dann auch konsequent statt, es war angenehmer Spiritus Rector des täglichen Miteinanders und machte den Stress sehr vielen Lernens neuer, bisweilen komplizierter Inhalte deutlich einfacher. Wenn auch nicht unbedingt einfach: Der Kurs insgesamt ist durchaus anstrengend und fordernd, konnte mich an Grenzen bringen, was Leben ja erst spannend macht. Grenzen finden, überwinden, sich entwickeln. Seriöse Ambition und Motivation sind unbedingt erforderlich für erfolgreiches Bestehen. Eine tolle, manchmal schwierige, aber immer inspirierende Erfahrung mit wunderbar verschiedenen, klugen, anregenden Menschen, die ich nicht missen möchte. Ob DU dafür geeignet bist im Sinne von "ist es meine Tasse Tee", lässt sich prima herausfinden im "Orientierungskurs" genannten Eingangsmodul von ca. 4 Wochen Dauer, in den einem verschiedene Aspekte des Web Developments näher gebracht werden. Das macht allen Beteiligten, also auch Dir, die Entscheidung leichter. Hast Du Dich für den Kurs entschieden und qualifiziert, erwarten Dich außer dem Tsunami neuen Fachwissens über modernes Web Development, das täglich mit praktischen Übungen vertieft wird, weitere klug konzipierte, praxisorientierte Module, die Dir den Einstieg in Dein späteres berufliches Setting erleichtern. Neben erwartbaren "how to" - Aspekten also (wie CD/Ci, git Workflow, Microservices vs. monolithic approach, Datenbankanbindungen ans selbst entworfene Frontend, Aufbau, Architektur, Gestaltung einer performant skalierbaren web application mit on demand rendered functionality etc.) noch die Vermittlung und das Üben sehr hilfreicher Softskills, die über Deinen späteren Erfolg entscheiden können. Alles im Team natürlich, wie es später auch wahrscheinlich im Job zu erwarten ist. Das Ganze spielerisch mit viel Lachen, dabei didaktisch klug wie inspirierend aufbereitet. Schließlich war noch Erwerb oder Vertiefen von Sprachkompetenz Teil des Pflichtprogrammes, in unserem Fall Deutsch oder Englisch. Schul- und Unibesuch sind bei mir nun schon einige Sommer her, aber ich kann mich nicht erinnern, je so komprimiert gelernt zu haben auf so vielfältige Weise, wie in diesem Kurs. Was gab es alles zu lernen, wen alles kennenzulernen. Eine tolle Erfahrung. Abschließend wünsche ich noch möglichst vielen Privilegierten nach mir diese sehr außergewöhnliche und schöne Gelegenheit zur Entwicklung eigenen Potentials, ihnen selbst und der Gesellschaft zum Gewinn. These two simple words perfectly encapsulate, in the most concise manner possible, my consistently positive experience with this exceptional educational institution, which is outstanding in so many ways. Nuova Speranza. In other words, "New Hope" – representing new, sustainable career opportunities that were simply unimaginable to me prior to my DCI experience. And that was just the beginning. Upon approval of the training program by the agency, it felt like mere seconds before I received a detailed course offer via email, swiftly followed by a call from my DCI educational advisor, Bogdan Cosma. Not only did he explain the course details in a clear and comprehensible manner, but he also exhibited remarkable patience and kindness, promptly and competently answering every question. He even offered his availability for any course-related inquiries, including weekends. A wonderful example of the "normative power of the factual": such dedication sets a standard, creates expectations, and establishes a benchmark that others must first strive to match. In doing so, Bogdan became a brand ambassador for DCI, his conduct inspiring confidence in what was already shaping up to be an ambitious and challenging course. This initial positive impression was not only fulfilled but consistently exceeded over the course of a year in ways I had never imagined. Specifically, in terms of DCI staff: in my varied professional career, I have never encountered more dedicated individuals. Regardless of their role, every staff member I had the privilege of engaging with provided optimal support in every conceivable aspect of the course and every difficulty that arose – far beyond the scope of their job descriptions. They were genuinely, authentically committed, demonstrating a passion that extended light-years beyond mere "duty by the book." They genuinely want your success. If you have the privilege of approved training in the digital field, you will struggle to find a more qualified, philanthropic, or dedicated educational institution than DCI. The idea and concept of my course already resonated deeply with me, aligning perfectly with my ideals of a vibrant, inclusive world of equals who support each other with loving respect. What else could one wish for? It simply makes life more enjoyable. From theory to practice: The consistent implementation of these beautiful ideals into the daily course routine was a constant theme. This uplifting spiritus rector of our interactions made the stress of intensive learning – including occasionally complex new material – far more manageable. That being said, it was not always easy: The course as a whole is quite demanding and challenging. It pushed me to my limits, which is precisely what makes life interesting. Finding boundaries, overcoming them, and evolving. Serious ambition and motivation are absolutely essential to succeed. It was an extraordinary, sometimes difficult, but always inspiring experience with wonderfully diverse, intelligent, and engaging people I am grateful to have met. Whether you are suited for this program – in the sense of “Is this my cup of tea?” – can be easily determined in the “Orientation Course,” an introductory module of approximately four weeks. This provides an overview of various aspects of web development, helping everyone involved – including you – make an informed decision. These are practiced extensively and can be critical to your success. Everything is, of course, team-based, as it is likely to be in your future workplace. All of this is presented in a playful, laughter-filled environment, with didactically clever and inspiring methods. Finally, language skills were also part of the mandatory curriculum, in our case German or English. It has been several years since my school and university days, but I cannot recall ever learning so much, so intensively, and in such a multifaceted way as I did in this course. There was so much to learn, so many wonderful people to meet – a truly enriching experience. In conclusion, I sincerely hope that many more fortunate individuals after me will have this unique and beautiful opportunity to develop their potential, for their own benefit and that of society. Done. Now, can we finally start coding? :)

I absolutely love this school. Enrolling in Chroma Tech Academy was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I came in with zero IT background, and now I’m working as a senior QA test automation engineer at a major company with a salary of 125,000 dollars a year. It still feels unreal sometimes. The program is structured to make even the most complex topics easy to understand. The instructors are not only knowledgeable professionals with real industry experience — they’re also patient, passionate, and genuinely invested in every student’s success. I never felt alone in my journey. Their support felt like it was available 24/7. What sets this academy apart is not just the curriculum, but the sense of community and the personalized mentorship. I do not recommend this school to anyone. The availability and attention of the mentors is limited and they are consistently overwhelmed by the high number of students. Additionally, issues with bugs and errors were present in a significant portion of the curriculum. The cost of the program is excessive and the promised accreditation from the Ministry of Education has not been delivered. The job guarantees and partnerships with companies advertised by the school are not reliable, and if a student is hired after finishing the school and subsequently fired within a month, the school will not provide any support or assistance in finding a new job. Overall, this school is a waste of money and should be avoided.

The program is designed to teach you how to think like a programmer and how to learn. There's a LOT of content and although it is impossible to master it all in the 33 week duration, what you gain is a solid introduction to full stack development and the skills to keep learning after graduating. A bootcamp can't teach you everything (you CAN'T know everything- even senior level developers don't!) but I will say that this program teaches you how TO BE a software developer. It's not about memorizing syntax or skimming through the lessons as fast as you can. The assignments and final projects are challenging and you have to utilize all the resources you can to be successful. The workshops are awesome, the instructors are top-notch and the mentors make such a difference in your learning. After completing the program, it's just the beginning of your coding journey! There are plenty of success stories of graduates being hired in the industry (myself included). I continue to learn more everyday thanks to Woz U.

As a recent grad, going through the program offered at Operation Spark was the best decision I've ever made. I use to work for a small company in New Orleans as an IT desktop support, and going from the hardware side of computers to learning how to create web applications all on my own is quite a feat. Yes the program itself is quite difficult, thats why the program is called immersion, but being able to offer real life skills in fullstack development, I wish I had this opportunity when I was younger.
