Read MoreIn my experience as a Fullstack developer and student of Georgia Tech University coding Boot Camp, I've learned exceptional skills that have prepared me for the workforce. The program will prepare you to code and grasp a deep understanding of the latest technology within the IT industry. Learning to code goes beyond putting fingers to the keyboard, it is about utilizing your current skills, building a network with others, applying what you know, and beating the imposter syndrome. The program has submerged me with industry knowledge and provided an excellent network of people that believe in me and want to see me succeed. It will challenge you to step outside your shell and acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses. Prior to joining the program, I worked in healthcare for the past four years, my specialty was in supply chain management and I used to think I couldn't code. As a minority, I felt that I was inadequate or underserving of having access to building apps and machines. When I first got into the program, I would sometimes doubt my abilities but after connecting with mentors, and having my instructor who also believed in me I feel confident to go into the workforce and get any job I desire. I believe in myself more; I was able to meet others that also didn't have a lot of experience in coding and I felt right at home. If I could give anyone advice it would be to not focus on what you don't know, only focus on what you can learn and the opportunities that will be available after you complete the cohort. I would've believed in myself a long time ago had I known there were support systems out there such as the Georgia Tech Fullstack web development program. My wish is that my testimony inspires others to start believing in themselves and not to ever doubt what you can do. You won't know what you can do until you try, and I look forward to utilizing my new skill to advance in life. I do not regret taking this course. I believe in order to do something big you have to do something you've never done before. I encourage others to sign up for a Boot Camp that aligns with their life goals, when you close your eyes what do you see? If you can conceive it in your mind, you can achieve it physically. This is only the beginning and one of the greatest feelings about learning to code is you don't need to know everything so come with your notebook, computer, and with an open mindset and ready to ask questions because you will be learning as long as you're working in the Tech industry.... Read MoreI am currently finishing up the first part of the fully remote Graduate Accelerator Program - Data Science course. The class is set up really well for the diverse backgrounds and skill levels of the students. With that being said, be ready to work hard to keep up! If you don't set aside enough time to study, practice, and work through the materials outside of class, you could get lost pretty quickly.Even as someone with a strong science background and a fair amount of experience with Excel and coding in Python, I'm gaining a deeper understanding of the python language, learned how to use Excel more efficiently, and had a much needed review on statistical analysis. I really look forward to the material covered later in the course as we will cover more advanced Python skills and dive into more tools and software specific to data science and machine learning.Lectures/Labs and office hours are held over zoom and are recorded, which has worked out wonderfully. Lectures/Labs have been a healthy mix of covering course content and working on assignments as a class and in breakout groups. Additionally, a Slack channel is set up so you can connect with and collaborate with classmates and reach out to the instructors.Instructors:I really appreciate the instructors. They are very encouraging, helpful, and respectful of everyone. They seem to understand that there are several different learning styles, and use different teaching resources to utilize them. Links to these resources are shared when possible too!Curriculum:The curriculum is challenging, extensive, and fast-paced. There is A LOT to learn when it comes to python, especially if you are new to coding. The best way to learn to code is through practice. In class, you get introduced to important concepts, shown examples, and become familiar with the documentation and other really useful resources. Use them. It's important to study and practice outside of class-time so you can get the most out your time with the instructors and really keep up. However, I feel a point of improvement would using more examples in class that bring multiple concepts together. All in all, my experience with TTS has been the windfall of support, resources, and structure I've needed since, like so many others, my life was flipped upside down since the pandemic. I look forward to the journey ahead with them.... I am more than willing to share a brief testimonial about my experience on Course Report. It would be my pleasure to contribute and provide insights into the path that led me to pursue this career and why I chose to apply to the Boot Camp.
When considering my career path, I realized the growing importance of cybersecurity and its impact on businesses and individuals alike.
My experience with the boot camp exceeded my expectations. The program provided a dynamic and immersive learning environment, which allowed me to develop a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and gain practical skills applicable to real-world scenarios. The hands-on projects and collaborative exercises were particularly valuable, as they enhanced my problem-solving abilities and fostered teamwork. Moreover, the supportive community and mentorship provided by the instructors further enriched my learning experience, the Instructor and his assistants were amazing.
If I were to highlight one favorite aspect of the program, it would be the emphasis on experiential learning. The opportunity to work on actual cybersecurity challenges and apply the knowledge acquired in class not only built my confidence but also prepared me for the demands of the industry. The practical nature of the boot camp ensured that I was well-prepared to tackle cybersecurity issues effectively.
To prospective students considering this path, my advice would be to fully immerse yourself in the program and take advantage of every opportunity to learn and grow. Embrace the challenges and actively participate in class discussions, group projects, and networking events. Additionally, make use of the resources and support available to you, such as the career services and alumni network. Lastly, stay curious, as the field of cybersecurity is constantly evolving, and a thirst for knowledge will enable you to adapt and thrive.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my testimonial on Course Report. You have my permission to copy the verbiage from my Course Report review

The curriculum is great, learning module are extensive, but sometimes felt too dense, and instructor quality could've been better. I'm a little bit left behind on first module, which is the most important part of the industry: "Understanding Business Problem", because the instructor can't explain it well. So, I think RevoU should choose instructor that not only good on their jobs technically, but also have communication skill to share it to students, and apply it for the entire section group for each module.
Another pros are RevoU assignments quality. Its really challenging and close to real world problem. Even though I think RevoU could do better on spreading learning module to entire week. My close IT-person circle said it's almost impossible to master Python in just 3 weeks. Yet, we did it, with blood sweat and tears.
Last but not least. I love small little details added on the program. Such as Menti Quiz (pre-test about today's learning material, and you can get awarded as King/Queen Menti if you winning it often), tebak-tebakan or free drawing on screen during 5 minute break, even (not so small and easy) Python Competition, to encourage students participation during class, and instructor appreciation for top score students who accomplished their optional assignment.
Overall, my 13 weeks in RevoU is a journey I will never forget and I believe this will be my solid rock stepping stone to my next career path. There were about 30 people in a class and 1 instructor and 2 TAs. The course was remote and taught over Zoom used with Slack. I was able to learn multiple concepts needed to become a Full Stack Developer. We would get assignments that we were put in a breakout room to complete and get experience after the instructor finished teaching the concept. The instructors and TAs would join the rooms and help us with any difficulties.
Some other perks I found helpful was the fact that I was assigned a tutor who I could work one on one with for an hour every week, I got experience collaborating with other people on projects, I received feedback on my career materials, and I got assigned a career coach I could meet with after graduation to assist with the job search.
Only complaint I have is that some of the other people in my class were lazy and not very intelligent and wouldn't help with projects and managed to be a burden. I don't mind helping people out when they run into problems when they pay attention to what I am saying and learn. I had some people who I helped out in the Boot Camp who were genuinely trying to improve and ended up becoming better after I helped them and it made them willing to help me out but I wasted hours trying to teach certain people simple concepts that they couldn't understand after they wouldn't put any effort into the class. This isn't entirely the fault of the school as they had a process of checking the people who applied. This is something that will happen anywhere though and it is good to know how to handle situations like this in life.
I am able to recommend the Boot Camp and say that it was helpful for me. Before making my decision, I researched many private courses and programs at other universities. I can tell you that this is the most comprehensive and balanced program at a competitive fee. At others schools, you get a third of the material from this course for the same price. Another important factor is the excellent reputation of Columbia University as one of the most prestigious universities not only in the US but the world. This translates into the quality of its educational programs and teaching staff. Also, this certificate program allows one to attend classes in the evening so as not to interfere with one’s job. It’s very convenient for those working individuals who want to further develop their UX/UI skills or change their profession altogether.
Why did I choose the UX/UI Design program? I have a degree in web design, programming, and computer graphics. However, I did very little work in this area, more often as a freelancer, as this was not my main job. I received my diploma 10 years ago and a lot of what I learned then became outdated. Back then there wasn’t even a concept of UX/ UI. I decided to go back to doing UX/UI as I feel that this is an area I can excel in. Knowing what I needed to learn for my future job made it easier for me to choose this course. I advise anyone who wants to change their profession and doesn’t know where to start to sign up for Columbia Engineering UX/UI Boot Camp. I can assure you for sure that you will get a good starting base knowledge of UX/UI. During the course, you will create a personal portfolio which is not so easy to do on your own, especially if you are not familiar with web design and user research. After a lifetime of trauma, pain, and abusing alcohol I went into rehab in South Dakota to treat my alcoholism and start a new life. Upon graduating from the rehabilitation program I pursued my lifelong dream of moving to Florida. There, I met my husband, and together we brought my beautiful, intelligent, spicey daughter into the world. My previous education and passion had brought me into the world of Veterinary medicine as a Veterinary Technician where I found myself exhausted and overwhelmed, unable to enjoy time with family. I quickly realized that to enjoy watching my daughter grow I needed a change. A passing, "What if?" brought me to the homepage of the University of Central Florida as I read about these "boot camps" I had been hearing about. Before the end of the day, I was on the phone giggling and swapping stories with an admissions counselor for the University. An important thing to note, I have severe clinical social anxiety and it's very hard for me to hold a conversation longer than 10 minutes; I had signed up for a phone call with this counselor, chickened out, and canceled. By the end of the hour, my phone rang with a call from this counselor, eager to bring me into the wonderful world of the University of Central Florida's full-stack coding boot camp. Without her, this story would have ended here. I thank God every day now for that woman.
If you're still with me, you might be asking if I'm ever going to get to the review of the boot camp itself. We're there, folks- thanks for hanging in there. My boot camp began with the pre-work. This was a class to prepare me for the boot camp itself. I was crying by the end of it. My submission comment for the last activity in the boot camp was, "I have no idea what I'm doing :(". I walked into the boot camp on day one defeated, broken, and pessimistic about my capabilities. But I was coming up on 9 months of sobriety at that point and knew that if I committed to believing in myself, I could get through this. Within minutes, we were off to the races. We met our Student Success Manager, Barbara Murphy. She radiated confidence- I could see in the webcam of each of my classmates that we were scooting closer and closer to the computer as Barbara prepared us for greatness. Then, she passed us off to our professor, JW Dinsmore.
Professor Dinsmore can be best described as the King of Hype. As royalty myself, being the Queen of Pessimism and Self Doubt, I was excited within seconds of him talking to get started. I can't discredit his ability to be realistic, however. He cautioned us that this would be the hardest thing we would do in our lives, and he wasn't wrong. I was hesitant at first about how one professor could handle teaching a two-year degree in three months, especially with approximately 55 other students. John came well equipped, though, with some amazing developers at his side in the form of teacher's assistants. Seth Wooten, Ross McWey, Donaldson Roessling, and Mark Elliott took us under their wing and guided us through the program's highs and lows with all the faith in the world that each of us could come out of this boot camp as complete rockstars and ready to jump into the industry of full stack developing. And we did.
While attending the bootcamp I experienced a number of hardships. I lost my home, moved across the state, was hit by two hurricanes, developed a seizure disorder, gone to the hospital and multiple occassions, and only have a roof over my family's head because of the selflessness of my in-laws. All of my belongings are currently in a storage unit and we're living out of a suitcase. Internet access has been difficult to maintain and I fell extremely behind in my coursework. Through all of this, my professor, TA's, and student success manager have supported me as I raced like The Flash through my coursework to catch up. With my social anxiety, I was finding it difficult to ask for help and they noticed me falling behind and suffering in silence and proactively sought to help me. Finding that kind of help in continuing education over remote learning is critical, essential, and life changing. Without their support and the help of my fellow classmates, this life changing opportunity would have fallen through my fingers and I would have had to return to the long suffering business of Veterinary Medicine. (Off topic, folks, but please be kind to your veterinary professionals. The suicide rate in that industry is the number one in the world and seven times the rate of it's succeeder for a reason. If you're still reading at this point, thank you, and please consider sending those amazing people flowers, healthy food, and caffeine.)
I truly can't describe the transition each of my classmates and I went through from day one at the boot camp to now, a week before the presentation day of our final projects. A day one activity, for example, was changing the main header to read, "Student Bio". I'm now working on building my react portfolio and trying to add the game "Duck Hunt" to it. We're all sharing our portfolios with each other and amazed at the creativity, skill, and talent that shows in each portfolio. As God is a witness because I've said it in my prayers for their success if I had Elon Musk's fortune to build a programming company I would hire every single one of my classmates. There aren't enough adjectives in the English language to describe them. They're artists, engineers, teachers, postal workers, Uber drivers, anime enthusiasts, comedians, and family. Our cohort is strong and laced with friendship, respect, and comradery. And now they can add one more adjective to them- developers. God bless, classmates. This was a wild, exciting ride and I'm so grateful I got to do it with all of you as Knights from the University of Central Florida.- 65Reviews8CoursesBerkeley Boot Camps offer 12-week, full-time and 24-week, part-time courses in web development; 24-week, part-time courses in data analytics, UX/UI, cybersec... Read MoreThis course taught me I am so much more capable than I think I am. Growing up, I didn't think I was any good with computers or coding and that there wouldn't be a place for me in the tech industry. However, I was unhappy with my current job prospects as someone with chemistry/biology degrees and knew I wanted something that allowed for more creativity while still being challenging. I had doubts from time to time as to whether I would finish the course with the confidence to break into the tech industry, but I made it and I surprised myself with straight 100s on every assignment. I've made lifelong friends too, which I didn't think would happen as an introvert. I'm grateful for the opportunity. The only thing I might suggest to the Bootcamp Team is that I would've appreciated it if my assignments provided some real-world advice if there's nothing to critique.... Read LessHappyer Skills

Read MoreIn these 6 weeks, it is one of the most unexpected courses that I have ever had. Design thinking theory is not difficult to understand but the tricky part is how do we apply it in real-life and how can we adjust our mindset to think from the user's point of view. Our instructors Michael , Shirley & Karen had provided a lot of support to us during the lessons and also in their leisure time to help us think and guide us to a user perspective direction. For the real case project, you will have a chance to be a consultant and speak with your client to work on their project. So it is not just a lecture. It is an "on-the-job" training and helps you to be a User Experience Designer.... Read MoreI have worked in the education space for 10 years both inside and outside the classroom, but always wanted to find a way to break into tech. After doing some research, I found the Aspireship program. As you can see on Course Report, their courses are highly rated. I decided to jump in and take the course for the very reasonable asking price they ask(which was great for me on a teacher’s salary). In short order, I found that the high ratings for the course were well deserved.I found the curriculum and videos at Aspireship to be very engaging, easy to follow, and gave vital insights into the industry. Like any online course, you get what you put into it. So I suggest taking notes and reviewing info if you struggle on the quizzes. By the end of the SaaS sales course, I felt like I knew a lot more about the industry and whether or not I would enjoy the the industry(that’s worth the price of admission in my opinion). The one time payment also gave me access to all other courses on Aspireship. I completed the Customer Success course right after the sales course, which was great. And since I joined, they have added two completely new courses, and I have access to them! I’m really impressed with the value they have given me as a customer. Then there is the job assistance. I completed the course just when all of the tech layoffs began to happen in February 2023. It was definitely not the best time to try and break into tech, as there were very few jobs and a massive supply of unemployed tech workers all vying for those jobs. It is job assistance, not a job guarantee. However, my advisor Ana always kept me updated with market trends, possible job opportunities, and hopped on a number of calls to help me prep for the job search or for specific interviews. I’m very grateful for her help, and again, this was all included in my one time fee.I continued teaching at a school and searched for jobs on my own at the same time until recently. In May, Aspireship was able to connect me with a company for an interview, and after a couple of rounds of interviews, I was lucky enough to get the job! Without Aspireship, I would not have the content knowledge or the connection necessary to get this job. With Aspireship, you get what you put into it. They give you all the tools and support necessary to make that break into tech at a very reasonable price. I’m very grateful for their help and encourage anyone truly driven to break into tech to go with Aspireship.

My advice to a new student would be to USE A TUTOR, save up your money, sick time and vacation time before starting this program, you'll need it and be happy you did so. Everything was great except "Ask BCS" was not helpful. I tried "ask BCS" twice and they were uninterested in helping so I decided I wouldn't waste my time. It did however help other students out.
