I was laid off with a sales background and wanted to get into tech.  

But companies told me I didn't have a background. So I found a building block to help me with that communication and understanding of the space. 

Jake Thibodeau told me about this place. I was a bit skeptical, not having a college degree, I needed whatever edge to help me stand out while applying. 

I am glad I signed up. 

The content you take in is solid. But the support and community you get is A+. They are always looking at how to offer more, which comes from adding new courses, webinars, job placement, and community.  

If you get laid off, you can return, and they will help. 

You can also take what you learn and find a role on your own. But when you have support, it is easier to achieve your goal.

 I have worked in the education space for 10 years both inside and outside the classroom, but always wanted to find a way to break into tech. After doing some research, I found the Aspireship program. As you can see on Course Report, their courses are highly rated. I decided to jump in and take the course for the very reasonable asking price they ask(which was great for me on a teacher’s salary). In short order, I found that the high ratings for the course were well deserved.
I found the curriculum and videos at Aspireship to be very engaging, easy to follow, and gave vital insights into the industry. Like any online course, you get what you put into it. So I suggest taking notes and reviewing info if you struggle on the quizzes. By the end of the SaaS sales course, I felt like I knew a lot more about the industry and whether or not I would enjoy the the industry(that’s worth the price of admission in my opinion).
The one time payment also gave me access to all other courses on Aspireship. I completed the Customer Success course right after the sales course, which was great. And since I joined, they have added two completely new courses, and I have access to them! I’m really impressed with the value they have given me as a customer.
Then there is the job assistance. I completed the course just when all of the tech layoffs began to happen in February 2023. It was definitely not the best time to try and break into tech, as there were very few jobs and a massive supply of unemployed tech workers all vying for those jobs. It is job assistance, not a job guarantee. However, my advisor Ana always kept me updated with market trends, possible job opportunities, and hopped on a number of calls to help me prep for the job search or for specific interviews. I’m very grateful for her help, and again, this was all included in my one time fee. 
I continued teaching at a school and searched for jobs on my own at the same time until recently. In May, Aspireship was able to connect me with a company for an interview, and after a couple of rounds of interviews, I was lucky enough to get the job! Without Aspireship, I would not have the content knowledge or the connection necessary to get this job.
With Aspireship, you get what you put into it. They give you all the tools and support necessary to make that break into tech at a very reasonable price. I’m very grateful for their help and encourage anyone truly driven to break into tech to go with Aspireship. 
 

The SaaS Sales Foundations course offered through Aspireship was integral for me to gain insight in to the creation and functions of a sales pipeline, and the daily tasks of and SDR. The content is organized, easily digestible, and engaging for anyone looking to prepare for a role in SaaS sales. Post-completion, I was given options and was well prepared for interviews by the candidate experience team. The team was quick to help and always available to connect. Patience is important, and the process requires effort on the candidate’s side, but it is a great experience and definitely worth it. 5/5

Aspireship was a wonderful experience that sharpened the skills that I already had as well as enlightened me on the world of SaaS and tech sales. Corey and Christine made the lessons insightful but never boring. The role play was my favorite part. I was able to handle objections effectively using what I had learned and Skip Miller's timeless ATL/BTL methodology (Skip is also a guest instructor). Ana in Customer Experience was the shining star however. She was with me every step of the way with constructive feedback and recognition. When I landed my new role she was equally as excited as me. What a LEGEND!

Aspireship made it so easy for me to learn the background knowledge I needed to break into the world of SaaS sales. I was a teacher with no real sales experience, and now I work as an SDR for an education technology company.  My coursework with Aspireship prepared me for the interview process as well as the job itself. I had a fantastic experience with Aspireship. I'm entering the third week in my new role as an Account Executive at my new company and I couldn't be happier. If you're sick of getting snubbed for interviews by resume filters or want to transition into tech but don't have the background, this is the best program to do it through. 

I found Aspireship after leaving a prior sales role (B2C, not in SaaS). I wanted to transition into SaaS sales and wasn't disappointed. Once graduating, it only took about a month to land a job at a great startup.
Had an excellent experience with Aspireship's team. You can tell that they're fully invested in your success throughout the process. After passing the final assessment, I was presented with a number of companies that they felt best matched my goals and other criteria. You have something akin to a dating profile where they facilitate a match between you and their hiring partners. If it's a "yes" on both sides, then you move forward with the interview process.
Some people complete the course pretty fast, sometimes as quickly as a weekend. It took me longer because I'm pretty thorough and like to review materials and overprepare. Just depends on your personality and situation, really. Beyond the basic course, they have tons of other training videos on numerous topics, including mindset, prospecting, discovery calls, etc. Basically hundreds of hours of training to supplement your understanding of the industry and role.
Highly recommend Aspireship for anyone looking to transition into SaaS sales.

I have been trying to research new career opportunities for me when I found Aspireship. The course was set up to take at my own pace and completely free for the first month. I thought "I will just try it out and see if it is even worth my time". The content kept my interest and they had little quizzes at the end of each video, so I could practice what they just taught.

I accidentally stumbled across Aspireship when I was googling “how to get into tech” and to be completely honest, I thought it too good to be true but had some extra time to kill so I thought I would complete the courses and see where this thing takes me.
I am SO happy I decided to go through with Aspireship because they really do prepare you with the correct terminology and skills to break into the tech world. I was VERY eager to start a new career and was placed at an amazing company in a month!

After being unable to get into tech on my own (with 6 years of sales in the transportation industry) I decided to give Aspireship a try. I gave 120%, took it very seriously and was able to complete within the 30 day time given. The course is THE MOST user friendly online course I have ever taken. I walked away with a strong understanding of:
1. The buy process thanks to Skip Miller and Corey Kossack
2. Managing time
3. Prospecting
4. Being creative and resourceful in order to succeed in my role. 
5. So much more

The role plays are very useful in terms of understanding how to effectively handle objections. It is my opinion here that if you give 120% you will succeed here. 

Within completion Austin and Ana BOTH put in a ton of time and effort to help me land a job. I ended up winning a position I absolutely love and doing so within only 8 days of completion in terms of having an offer in hand. Not only did it move quickly but also I was able to earn a 20% increase to my target vs my prior job AND have significantly more upside. 

Complete waste of time. You watch videos which - as somebody else in here said - are really more like a podcast format. There are little super easy quizzes along the way that are very basic common sense questions. You get to the end where there is a 37 question quiz of basically the same previous quiz questions with a few others sprinkled in and they don't let you see what kind of score you received for this final one upon completion like they do with the small quizzes. I missed 1 question throughout all the other quizzes.

The assessments are pretty ridiculous in that you have 2 phone simulations where you're trying to spark interest in a former lead that's gone cold, and a video simulation. The thing that's unreasonable is you read a paragraph detailing the criteria they're looking for - summarizing the concerns the lead has stated, implementing "Above the line" and "Below the line" questioning to qualify the lead, handling requests from the lead that can't be met while still coaxing the lead to make a decision by the end of this call - all the while you're role-playing as an AE for a tech company who's product you have little familiarity with and not to mention it takes a super long time to re-record your attempts (which is going to take quite a few tries to get it just right where you're not fumbling words, etc.).

All in all, there are so many moving parts that the "10%" that pass and get into their hiring network have either got to be seasoned professionals out of a job or taking this concurrently while presently employed. It's free (for 30 days), but you won't ever get your time back. They offer a lifetime subscription after they let you know you didn't make the cut - for $180. No thanks.

I can't recommend Aspireship emphatically enough!! As a sales and marketing leader from a non-Saas background, the thoughtful content presented in the SaaS Sales Foundations course equipped me with an understanding of both the SaaS business in general and the Individual sales roles specifically. After the course and assessment were completed, I received tons of support and opportunities with hiring partners, but there is no catch, no obligation to accept one of these opportunities. Aspireship is the real deal, and you will not regret going through their process - it will absolutely help you to grow and get better.

I discovered Aspireship while googling SaaS bootcamps -- and I couldn't be more thankful that I did.

After recently leaving a 9 year career in Real Estate sales, I was looking to make the switch into a SaaS role. Applications everywhere were highlighting SaaS experience as a big consideration. While I had sales experience, I didn't speak the language and I wasn't confident on how to translate my skills to a new industry. I looked into boot camps to help me cross the divide. 

Aspireship was recommended as a top option on a couple websites. Their website was attractive, and better yet, their pricing -- free, as long as you complete the course within 30 days -- was the unicorn that drew me in. I signed up, but it wasn't until I saw folks shouting them out left and right on LinkedIn that I made the commitment to complete the course. 

The course is primarily a string of videos from top SaaS voices with short quizzes at the end, but the videos are both engaging and thorough. While it's labeled SaaS fundamentals, the course is best geared toward supporting Account Executive and other sales roles. Still -- you gain a lot of insight about the industry, the lingo, and core skills that can support success. I loved watching videos with "Skip" Miller so much that I requested his book about outbound prospecting as a holiday gift (and got it, woohoo!). 

You can complete the course in as little as two weeks; I know folks who were able to knock it out in less. The capstone practice / final projects are great for putting your skills to use! In interview assessments that followed my application (common in SaaS sales), I was able to solidly demo products using the tips I picked up and leaning back on my practice from the course. I landed an Account Executive role at my top pick within a few weeks of completing the program. 

Some bonuses, but still major parts of their success: 

• Their team members are SO kind, encouraging, and supportive. From the CEO to the communication specialists, they're very committed to your success. 
• The community that they've created raves about them. You will see program graduates and top sales voices shouting out Aspireship across LinkedIn. There's a slack channel that they invite graduates to for extra discussion and feedback. 
• They host regular, added learning opportunities to continue developing your skills post-grad. The topics are relevant and empowering. They store all of these in their Aspireship library if you do decide to purchase a membership.

I happened upon Aspireship serendipitously while job hunting, and a few short weeks later I’m starting a completely new career. The course itself was interesting, engaging, and you can go at your own pace. I would listen on my commute to and from work, and completed the course in about 3 weeks. Once you complete the course the Aspireship staff is absolutely amazing at coordinating the next steps. I cannot say enough about how great this experience was and how thankful I am that I found Aspireship. 

I was a teacher for 7 years and knew nothing about customer success, or anything outside of the world of education. After 16 years of teaching middle school, I really needed a change.  After already having a Master's degree in education, I had contemplated going back to college in my 40's to start a new career.  Enter Aspireship!  I'm forever grateful for Aspireship because it transformed my career path towards becoming a Customer Success Manager.  I took both the Aspireship CSM1, CSM2, and the SaaS courses, and I cannot recommend them more.  $180 was a VERY SMALL investment in myself to explore new career opportunities in the tech industry.  Most other bootcamps are much more expensive.  I've taken a lot of LinkedIn learning courses also as the teacher in me is a life-long learner, but I always came back to the Aspireship videos in the content library because they are put together extremely well.  They didn't feel like they were talking at me or a boring lecture--much more of a discussion with leaders in the industry.

*It is self-paced.  The digital platform's flexibility is streamlined and self-paced learning.  You can do it on your own terms while still working a full-time job.  
*Lessons were enlightening and more interesting than other LinkedIn learning courses
*The program's affordability is really refreshing. 
*Each video lesson is typically between 30-60 minutes and then there is a 5 question quiz for the section. 
*The final exam has practice scenarios that a CSM could encounter, where I recorded a mock video of myself playing the role as a CSM.  These scenarios prepared me well for job interviews.
*Aspireship also offers 1-1 candidate support with interview prep sessions (extra fee).  I did this one time because I just hadn't interviewed in a long time.  Aspireship gave me pointed answers on how to answer the question of why I wanted to leave teaching and be a CSM.  
*Once you've passed their courses, hiring partner's can see your match profile, substantially boosting your employment prospects.  and help you get a job.
*Employees seem genuinely wanting to help you get a job in the tech industry.
*They use Slack to help connect with other job seekers on the same journey.  The job search is extremely lonely so it helps to find a buddy who is also in the same boat.  
*They continually are rolling out new things.  Since I joined they added a CSM intensive course, a SaaS intensive course, and a RevOps course.  

I cannot recommend Aspireship more!  For the money, you get a whole lot of value and a supportive community that will cheer for you when you break into the tech industry.  

I recently had the pleasure of attending Asipreship, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From start to finish, the staff and resources provided were top-notch, and I could not be more pleased with my overall experience. The curriculum was well-structured and included a combination of lectures, exercises, and hands-on projects that allowed me to put my new skills into practice. The materials were up-to-date and relevant, and I appreciated the attention to detail that went into creating them. I was able to get 1 on 1 coaching before my interviews and this made all the difference in landing my new position. I went from mortgage sales to Customer Success. Overall, I would highly recommend Asipreship to anyone who is looking to improve their tech skills or switch to a career in tech. I had to be patient about the time that I was applying for companies with Aspireship but in the end it worked out well.  Summer hours tend to be a lot slower for job placement.  But in the end this company came through.  Not only with placement but resume help, grammar, sales videos and content,  interview help and much more.  If you are serious about tech sales and sales in general this is the way to go hands down.  In a world where many company's ask for money up front or income based % of your salary this company is doing it the right way. 5/5 would recommend.

The course was such a treat! The whole Aspireship team, along with MAGGIE, are phenomenal and a wealth of knowledge and inspiration.
