I never quite understood why coding bootcamps were known to be so "intensive". Now I do. This class is difficult and for good reason. The volume of knowledge absorbed in such a short time is unbelievable. The instructors did a fantastic job instructing all material, the career services department went above and beyond providing opportunities for interview prep. 

There is a strong sense of community. Throughout the program, I had the opportunity to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds who shared similar goals and interests in AI and machine learning. The supportive environment from Instructors and logistics team, peer discussions, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities created a motivating atmosphere.  The curriculum had great balance between theory and practical hands on projects of machine learning. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to build a career in machine learning.

A good gateway to get in to coding. They provide the all the basic knowledge that you need to get into the field. When you graduated from the course you will get the follow help in finding a job.

As a graduate of the Yellowtail Tech program, I can confidently say the experience was exceptional. Even with a degree in Cyber Security and existing certifications like Security+, I found their approach to the RHCSA curriculum to be a game-changer. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but incredibly friendly and accessible. They took the time to break down complex Linux concepts whenever we hit a roadblock, walking with us through every step of the process. They turned what could have been a daunting certification path into something manageable and achievable. I am incredibly grateful for the support and the community they’ve built.

The course is good, the instructors are extremely nice, responsive and helpful, BUT the course is ALLLLLL over the place. examples are extremely confusing (seem totally misplaced or irrelevant) and include things you haven't even learned yet in the example code, which makes it way more confusing. I found there was no flow of content its here and there then going back then too far forward and its overall an extremely hard course due to this reason.

When I decided to change careers and attend a coding bootcamp, I reviewed many options.  I ultimately chose Max Technical Training as it appeared to have a more personable approach.  After attending, wow that is not an understatement.  They are very personable and make you feel like part of their family from the first day to post graduation with alumni events to help with networking.  Even though I mostly attended remote, I never felt like an outsider.  The bootcamp was amazing with instructors that are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about you learning.  It was the best choice I have ever made!

My experience with Bosscoder Academy has been genuinely rewarding. A special shoutout Rishabh. His classes were extremely useful. No matter how basic or minor my doubts were, he patiently stayed extra hours after class to ensure every single concept was clear. His practical advice regarding my resume, notice period planning, and preparation strategy saved me a huge amount of time.

The course curriculum is well-structured. While there is still some room for improvement in the 1-on-1 mentorship sessions and the portal UI, it’s great to see the team actively working on updates and improving day by day.

Overall, Bosscoder saved me months of aimless preparation, and Rishabh’s instruction made a huge difference!

La mia esperienza con Develhope è stata positiva. La mia tutor Monica Molini è davvero una persona competente nel suo lavoro ed è un’ottima insegnante, molto disponibile a venirti incontro in caso di difficoltà. Inoltre anche l’aiuto delle coordinatrici della sezione placement per me è stato fondamentale, quindi grazie Elena Reas e Alessia Coccia!! L’aiuto nella ricerca di lavoro da parte di Develhope è concreto, anche senza esperienza come la sottoscritta. Ci tengo a ringraziare anche Luca Reina, forse la prima persona del suo ruolo che incontro che si occupa (e preoccupa) davvero degli studenti, sempre pronto a tendere una mano quando ce n’è bisogno. Ed infine grazie a Fanni Felfoldi per la gestione del corso e per tutto ciò che fa per migliorare la nostra esperienza in Develhope. Ora sicuramente non intendo dire che il corso è perfetto, sicuramente si può sempre migliorare, ma per me ha funzionato, in meno di 6 mesi sono passata dal non sapere scrivere due righe di codice a saper sviluppare un sito web completo che rispecchi la mia visione, del tutto funzionante. 

Learning Software Engineering with RevoU gives enrichment by covering foundation of knowledge in software engineering which I know combined all but not limited to only Front end, Back end and Full stack coding or programming but it also taught us whole software engineering issues and problem solving along with practice in containerization, DevOps, local and production side of software engineering, client vs server side, cloud service, design pattern, architecture, and many other things. Nevertheless, because it covers both broad and wide foundational knowledge and real case study assignments. It could be very hard and tiresome for students especially without prior knowledge to computer science yet at the same time students get much exposure to many programming language such as Javascript, Typescript, and Python along with SQL and mark up language such as HTML and CSS. For student candidate who wants to join this RevoU Full Stack Software Engineering program, the students should commit, focus and allocate much of their time (prefer not too busy at work whether full time, part time, or freelence and not very long time in round trip commuting between home and work office, so remote worker or unemployed person who can focus on the program are more ideal for this program...I guess) so they could optimize their learning because Warning Letter will be accumulated to the RevoU Next program. Please try as much as possible to avoid Warning Letter during RevoU faculty to give you more chance to survive during RevoU Next, because this kind of issue is not really that clear on the student letter agreement in the beginning (At least for recent agreement). This program is very hard so be ready for it. This program can go from the very basic to the advance difficulty. Well, I need to experience RevoU Next program first to give more in-depth review onwards.

I have a Master’s degree in Information Systems and when I graduated, I realised that I lack the required business experience and technical experience to get a job. It was a heart-breaking moment for me and the only job that I could get was in IT support. I worked there for a year and I did excel while working there. I was an IT helpdesk support technician and was working in Perth with some of the largest multinational corporations such as Chevron and BHP Billiton. I was highly paid but did not have job satisfaction. After one year I quit but didn’t want to go to University again and repeat the same cycle of lack of experience. Surprisingly, Universities cannot provide an internship to their students that lays the basic foundation for someone changing careers to get their foot in the door. Luckily, I found Coder Academy (CA) which was providing internships for all their students. It helped me bridge the gap between education and industry. I was hired after my internship by the same company and many other of my classmates also got the job via the internship. Coder Academy has included building a portfolio which is very impressive to some of my potential employers. Also, the side projects we did during the course gave me something to show my coding skills and interviewers something to talk about in the interview. It was a very intensive course and at times I felt breaking down due to pressure and timely submission of projects. Many of my classmates felt giving up the course multiple time during the course. But it was all worthwhile in the end.
In my cohort, the course was divided into three terms. In the first term, we started the course with Ruby as it is really easy to learn and built a terminal application. Then we moved on to Ruby on Rails in the second term and built a two-sided e-commerce website. Then in the third term had MERN/PERN stack and built something of our choice. This project was supposed to be a client project to give us a feeling of the real world, but COVID happened and the project was changed.
During the course, we got a fair amount of support from educators, but not enough. Most of the times I found myself dealing with my problems by myself. That acted as a blessing in disguise, as in the real world being independent and able to solve the coding issue fast and on my own has helped me impress my employers.
I did feel that Ruby and Rails are a bit outdated technology and not many people use it. But guess what, as I’m writing this, I’m moving to my second job and it is in React/Rails stack. But definitely, there are few jobs for Rails and more for PHP and C# .Net stack for the backend. It would have been great to include these stacks but can be learned on my own.
I also found that the material covered in flex track was more in details and the projects were not rushed as they were for us in the fast track. I’ll suggest someone coming from a non-technical background, it would be easier to pursue flex track which is 10 months course. It will be 4 more months compared to fast track, but definitely worth the time as the curriculum has heaps of concepts that overwhelmed many of my classmates many times during the course.
Overall, I would say it was a great experience. It was stressful and intense and I’d say not for everyone. But if one is focused and determined, I believe it is worth the effort and time one put into it.

My experience with NextLeap has been very positive over the past 4 months. The mentorship and support provided throughout the program were extremely helpful.

The placement support team played a key role in helping me secure interview opportunities by guiding me on preparation and next steps. I would especially like to highlight Yunus Kidwai, who supported me at a personal level during my placement journey and helped me in getting interview opportunities.

The course mentorship was also strong Harshit Bajpai was always available to help with my doubts and ensured that my questions were clearly resolved.

One thing I really appreciated was how the team actively listens to student concerns. They discuss issues internally and take action to improve the experience, which shows they genuinely care about students' progress.

Overall, this program helped me learn a lot in a short time and improved both my technical and practical understanding. I would recommend it to anyone looking for structured guidance and strong mentorship in their learning journey.

I was emailed directly and asked to apply. I took my time and asked lots of questions, I researched online and found very few reviews. Should have been my first red flag. 

I've since learned all negative reviews of this school are deleted not long after being posted. I've can only guess from my own experience why this would be. First of all, they were very fast moving, fast talking, and car salesman like in how they push you to meet fast approaching deadlines to sign everything and jump in. Also should have been a red flag. 

I initially stated I already had student loans I could not afford and did not want to take on more debt. I was told about a couple scholarships. I applied and won a 50% scholarship. I asked about additional scholarships and was advised about an Income Share Agreement. I had never heard of this before. 

I was told it was very safe and not a student loan because if I did not earn $65,000 a year for 5 years after certification the debt would be waived entirely, and if I did earn $65,000 a year I would owe them $7,500 repaid at 9% of my monthly income. 

I was promised job assistance in the form of job placement and resume and interview review and prep. I was told the entry level positions I could expect to get within 6 months of graduating was $100,000 a year or more. None of this was true. 

Again I was heavily pressured to get thing signed, software installed, permissions and access to my computers provided within a very short amount of time to meet their "deadlines". 

The reality is that they start these courses every couple weeks and they are almost entirely AI run through prerecorded slides, free links to other code teaching platforms, and YouTube videos. So there was no need to be pressured to meet these fast approaching deadlines because more classes start constantly. This was a tactic to rush through any and all fine print and questionable permissions and software. 

The entire staff at the time I came on board were self admitted hackers. They would begin exposing this through the course. There are 2 teachers for each course. A main teacher and an asst. teacher who would teach alternate supplemental classes sometimes related to the topic at hand and other times not related at all. 

Many times that instructor was expected to cover topics with us that had not been covered yet by the main instructor causing the class to be very confused and unable to follow along because that material had not been covered yet. 

It would be like learning multiplication for 3 weeks with the main instructor and then having the asst on Wednesday show up with a class assignment on Calculus. 

The literal example is we were learning HTML and CSS and then given an assignment on React. 

We then spent multiple weeks learning JavaScript to then get an assignment in Java. 

Every class was a slideshow with links to YouTube videos or links and assignments on other free platforms like freecodecamp and codeacademy and w3schools. 

The class is 3 hours long. We were originally told 4 days a week with Wed optional. When class started the instructor informed us Wed was mandatory as it was a different topic and curriculum from the main instructor and attendance would count for missed days. 

The instructor for the main course read the slideshows word for word for 3 hours straight. If we asked questions or asked for help with something we were told to "Google it" or ask chat gpt.  

We were told by both instructors that they were paid for the 3 hours of lecture time and the slides had to be covered so there was no time for questions or reviewing. Assignments were graded several weeks after completing with only 100% or 0% as completed or not completed. So there was no feedback or instruction on what was right or wrong. 

When I brought this up my next assignment was to code something intentionally incorrect so you could see the errors that vscode would present. I did exactly that and was graded a low grade due to errors. (This was the only grade the entire course that was not graded based solely on completed or not.) 

When I tried to address the feedback with the instructor privately he repeatedly ignored what I was saying until I put it in the class chat. He then changed the grade to 100% and privately in the feedback said it was a well deserved 100% after out loud verbally in front of the class repeatedly saying I was wrong because of all the obvious errors. It seemed like my instructions were different then the rest of the class. It felt like retaliation for complaining in the form of public humiliation in front of the class. 

Many of the slides contained errors or were covering outdated material or non-working links. Several of the advertised topics were never covered at all during the course. 

When I was still in the enrollment process and trying to make sure I could commit to the requirements I asked what the time commitment was outside of lecture time to complete readings and assignments. I was told 1-2 hours per night. 

The reality is they shortened the original course which was a year or more to 12 weeks. So the curriculum was reduced down to 12 weeks. Some days the assignments alone due the following day were upwards of 6+ hours of independent study time. 

This resulted in many students no longer completing assignments or getting very far behind. Many students complained and the due dates were changed so that the assignments were due 7 days from the date they were assigned. This gave us more time to complete lessons and assignments but resulted in no feedback. It also made learning things in steps impossible. 

Imagine being taught how to make cheesecake. The first lesson on day 1 is how to purchase and operate a springform pan. You attempt to do so, get the pan but can't make it work. 

Day 2 you ask for help and are told to google it. While being taught how to gather ingredients needed and mix the cheesecake. So you get a bowl mix ingredients. Yours doesn't look like the teachers but you followed the printed steps. The teacher only completed 2 of 6 steps on screen so you have no idea how to work your pan and your cheesecake looks weird but no one wants to explain where you are going wrong. 

So you stay up all night watching youtubes, googling, chat gpting, you get the cheesecake right but can't figure out the pan still. Nothing has been graded, no feedback on assignments. 

Day 3 different teacher different topic, short YouTube then assignment: create a castle out of homemade rock crystals...(it's due next day 3 with no contact between with instructor) now.. 

Day 4 present your baked cheesecake with topping of choice. (The instructor will lecture on completely different topics while you do this so choose pay attention to what he's saying or work on your assignment).

Maybe it's just me but I don't see how anyone could be successful learning like that. By the end of the course one student was able to transfer to a different instructor and never heard from him again, the rest of us tried to figure things out either between us or alone and many didn't get their certs. All complained they did not learn the material needed for employment, and at least 2 of us cried in class so...As if that wasn't bad enough when higher ups were reached out to their response was to bad mouth the instructors and make excuses for the big changes in curriculum going on. 

If your curriculum is going through an overhaul, why charge students to attend your broken classes? None of us were placed. None of us received real job offers as a result of this course. I was immediately approached by someone claiming to be an IRS recruiter after completing the course and it seemed like they referred me, however I used to work for IRS and many of the things she asked for raised red flags that she was not in fact employed by IRS. When I questioned this I was told she was a third party recruiter. She wanted me to contact my former superviser and get a copy of my security clearance and send it to her to which I blocked her and refused as highly suspicious with all the govt hacking happening. 

Later I saw many news stories about big hacking events that utilized things we completed for assignments and it made me further question who was involved with this business and what was really happening. 

All of the staff with the exception of the CEO and her right hand gal have resigned including their legal counsel from what their staff said. The only contact I received in the 14 months since completing the course were solicitations to purchase more courses or supplemental lessons. 

I believe this is a pay to play and the only job you will be offered is in office position making you now involved in the scheme. I filed a complaint with the BBB after getting little to no response from their company or representatives. 

The ISA I was rushed into was nothing they presented it to be. While my financial obligation should have been $7500 paid back or waived in 5 years, these are the actual terms: If I make more than $65,000 in a year and this is based on my monthly income. 

So if I make more than $5416 gross in a month they deem me at 65,000 a year for that month and 9% of my monthly income goes to them even if my normal monthly income is $2500. If I don't make $65,000 to their calculations that month does not count at all. They place me in deferment and it is not counted towards the 5 years at all. 

The only way the debt will be waived is if I make less than $5416 gross in a month for the next 10 years. If I do make over $65,000 the clock starts then. They get 9% of what ever I make not until the original $7500 is paid back as you would expect when told its zero interest at sign up. No they get 9% until more than twice that is paid back. 

So for a 12 week course that taught us fragments of Full Stack Web Development, did not offer job prep or placement, they got $7500 from whatever company sponsored my scholarship plus $16,000 when and if I ever teach myself how to make that income. 

For a company that's claim to fame is women owned, I am a single mom with 2 kids, a medical disability, and DVSA survivor. Through my many attempts to give them the benefit of the doubt and make this right all I've gotten is the run around and silence. Please stay away from predatory companies like this one.

I was amazed at how much I learned in such a short time - from Python programming, web development, and software engineering principles to data structures and algorithms.

What I cherish most from my time at Hackbright is the community I've become a part of. is the sense of solidarity, encouragement, and friendship among my peers.

If I compare myself from 12 weeks with myself from today I could only say woow! The amount of information, exercises and project that you do during this bootcmap is unbelievable. You are really cosing from day one.
The best part for me where the four hackatons, and the final project. You feel like a programmer that needs to develop an app, and you must do it with their respective deadline.

Now the bootcmap is online (I was based in Poland), but I had the chance to attend to the Demo day (final project day) to the school in Prague and the experience is 10 times better. If you have the chance to move to Prague for 12 weeks, will be totally worthy!

I really enjoyed my time at iO Academy. I chose this bootcamp mostly because it seemed to me that they proposed the most complete curriculum and they did not disappoint! It was a very intense learning experience, but it is delivered in the best conditions: 

I also want to point out that they put a really big emphasis on how to work as a software engineer (e.g. working in an Agile team) and not just how to code. I found this extremely valuable (maybe more than the coding?) as it is a huge part of the job and I arrived in my 1st software engineer position really well prepared and knowing what to expect. On the coding side, they were dedicated to teaching us best coding practices. I am currently working in my 1st position as a software developer and so far my line manager has been pleasantly surprised by how much I've learned at iO Academy! 

It took me a 4/5 months to land a job but the job market is a bit tough at the moment. I got some valuable advice from their career consultant which helped me land my current position. I would not necessarily expect to just walk into a job straight after the bootcamp (some of the students of my cohort did though!). iO Academy was definitely worth the time and the investment, and I would totally do it again!
  

The bootcamp really pushed me to learn and grow, while still keeping the experience enjoyable. I gained a lot of valuable knowledge and hands-on skills that helped me become more confident as a developer. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to level up! 

I completed the Data Science 2024-2025 program and was delighted with it. The courses are very high quality and really intensive, so you have to work hard, but you come out with real skills that are validated through the project you present at the end of the program.
