From start to finish, I was consistently impressed by the quality of the instruction, the depth of the curriculum, and the genuine commitment of the entire team to our success. I honestly believe that if you're serious about a career in data science, you have to look no further.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Big Blue was the incredible instructor team. Instead of relying on just one or two instructors, they had a large number of instructors, each a specialist in their respective fields. This meant we received expert guidance and mentorship from individuals with real-world, hands-on experience in various facets of the data science industry. This wasn't just theoretical knowledge; these were professionals who were actively working in the field and brought their current insights and best practices directly into the classroom. I’ve never experienced something like that before in my career and I’ve attended courses from organizations all over the world in various fields. They covered everything from statistical modeling, machine learning, EDA and data visualization, Python, databases, etc. There is not enough space here to name them all.
The instructors weren't just knowledgeable; they were incredibly dedicated and accessible. It was amazing. They provided ample quality time and attention, answering every question thoroughly and patiently. What truly stood out was their availability, even beyond scheduled class times. They were consistently helpful and readily available to provide support, clarification, and guidance throughout the entire course. This level of personalized attention made a huge difference in my learning journey. I never felt lost or unsupported, even when tackling complex topics that were very challenging to me.
The curriculum itself was exceptionally comprehensive and well-structured. Big Blue Data Academy didn't just skim the surface; they dove deep into every essential aspect of data science. The sheer volume of material covered was significant, but it was organized in a remarkably logical and efficient way and the result was amazing. This made the learning process both viable and incredibly effective. They managed to strike a perfect balance between theoretical foundations and practical application. We weren't just learning concepts; we were actively applying them through projects and real-world case studies e.g. using numerous Kaggle databases with specific business tasks assigned to us from the academy. This hands-on approach was crucial in solidifying my understanding and building my confidence. I already feel and act like a Data Scientist.
The part-time format was perfect for my schedule, allowing me to balance my professional commitments with my studies. Even though it was part-time, the intensity and rigor of the program were not compromised in any way.
Honestly, the value I received from this bootcamp far exceeded the price I paid. It felt like I should have paid more for the level of training, support, and the career-ready skills I gained.
As a digital marketing business owner, my goal wasn't just to learn about data science; it was to gain the skills necessary to strategically evaluate and integrate data-driven approaches into my agency's daily operations. After visiting them during one of their open-houses, I knew it was the right match for me. The instructors struck me as kind, approachable, passionate, and above all, knowledgeable. The application process was smooth and the preparation material helped establish a baseline with which to hit the ground running from day one. The curriculum is what you would expect for a high quality Data Science bootcamp in 2025 but I found it to be differentiated by the instructors, all of whom are clearly passionate about what they are teaching and all of whom were very knowledgeable and had plenty of first-hand insights on best-practices within industry. I was also pleasantly surprised by how smooth the interaction was with the colleagues who did join online due to geographical constraints and felt that they were right there with us the whole time. After an intense three months, the capstone project was a rewarding challenge to close the course with and am excited about my prospects after having acquired a new set of tools for my engineering toolbelt. Highly recommended!

I was certainly not the best developer in my cohort by anyone's measure, but everyone there helped me catch up on any concepts that I was having trouble with, combined with me studying in my free time if I wasn't too tired (the course is fairly rigorous, especially in the second half). After I graduated, Kelly helped me find a job by giving my resume and my portfolio page to recruiters all the time, and it led to me finding my first job in software development only a little while after I graduated in September or October. I was recently laid off from that job, and even then, the team at Coder Foundry put me right back into their rotation of resumes that they send to recruiters, and I was able to find a job within two weeks of being laid off. I have nothing but great things to say about the process, and especially the after-graduation support that they give you.

I was extremely worried starting the program because I had a previous bad experience with another SE Bootcamp called FlatIron because they didn't actually teach you any lessons in the bootcamp and only offered minimum support for learning the concepts, so I wasn't sure what to expect going into Code Platoon's program. However, I had absolutely no reason to worry because Code Platoon is far superior to the other bootcamp and the staff genuinely care about their students and will put the time in to make sure you understand the topics and concepts. The instructors presented the lectures in ways that made it easy to follow and ask questions and if you didn't understand they'd break the concept down a different way to help make it clear. They always encouraged questions and class participation and were always available to offer assistance to students if you are struggling. I felt as though they really cared about ensuring each one of us in our cohort was successful in the program. They also offer a robust curriculum that prepares you with the fundamentals as well as languages such as Django, PostgreSQL, Flask, React, etc. We also always had TAs available to help us during class hours and after hours to ensure we weren't getting stuck on problems or issues. During the program they also setup Beyond Tech Talks and brought in employers to prepare us for topics we needed to know going into a tech career. Finally, their Career Services and Job Assistance also goes above and beyond as they incorporate several topics like behavioral interviews, technical interviews, job search best practices, etc to make sure we are prepared for job searching as soon as we complete the program. We also got to talk to employers like Google and DFR to learn about interviewing process best practices and what to expect in your first role. During the program they also set you up with a mentor and a volunteer resume coach to offer you additional support and resources. Code Platoon truly goes above and beyond to make sure their students are setup for success. As I stated above, this bootcamp is top notch and by far the best bootcamp out there for active duty military members and their families, as well as veterans and their families. I'm so grateful I was given the opportunity to complete this bootcamp. They also offer a variety of ways to pay for the program so you have flexibility. You won't regret attending this bootcamp!

Habiendo cumplido el Boot, debo decir que para mi el mismo mantuvo siempre el nivel de intensivo y eso hizo que la exigencia siempre fuera pareja y durante los 4 meses me senti como si estuviera dentro de una empresa. Si la pregunta es lo recomendaria?? Si altamente, pero siempre hay que aclarar que lo intensivo va de la mano del nivel.

I attended the UX Design program back in 2019 and when my life took a turn and I needed to pivot, when I decided to go back to school for Full-Stack Development I decided to go back to Prime for their FS program. The experience at Prime is one not just of learning but support. From the instructors, support staff, and extensive alumni there is so much after program support. When i was researching other programs in my area, I couldn't find any that had the comprehensive support that Prime has for its students and alumni. To include career support as part of the program is rare but at Prime it's just another piece of the puzzle. I felt that in 20 weeks of the program, I absorbed so much. My instructors for the Full Stack program were so helpful. The saying is at Prime it is a fire hose turned up to 100. It's an intense, full time program that demands a lot of it's students. But that intensity is what allows its students to be more flexible, adaptable, and also fosters an ability to learn new technologies AFTER the program that we otherwise wouldn't have had the ability to understand.

I did a lot of researching when deciding which bootcamp to attend. I decided on this one because the languages and Stack aligned with my desired list of technologies I wanted to learn. However, I received so much more than I expected. My Instructors were, and have been very attentive to all of my questions and struggles. My career coach has guided me every step of the way through job search. She has always been available when I need to talk. The staff as a whole is nothing but attentive and supportive. And even though I have completed my training and career search, they are still there for me. As I am starting my new and first role as a software developer, my instructor is supporting me through my required learning. When they say they support you and give you every tool available to succeed, they mean it. I cannot say enough good things about them. I will also mention that I was a virtual student in a class of in-person students. The instructors made sure that I was included in all class interactions and exercises. I have made so many friends and connections through this experience. It has truly been life changing for me and my family.

I found TTS through a local networking event where a regional representative told me about the bootcamps offered, and I decided to enroll in the Full Stack Web Development course. I had the absolute best time in this course! I learned so much about front-end and back-end development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as specialized frameworks to create beautiful web pages and interactive applications. The back-end education and concepts we went over during our object-oriented programming in Java section were also incredibly valuable to me since I do not have a computer science degree. Overall, I would definitely recommend TTS to others who want to change careers or supplement their knowledge because the comprehensive nature of the bootcamp really allowed me to feel confident saying that I am now a full stack developer. Also the TTS community is extremely friendly, and they have been wonderful on a personal level.

I started with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and learned a lot about web development and feel definitely job-ready.
Things which can be improved:
Since it is a very personal experience and it very much depends on everyone's self, I still think that the BootCamp can be a bit more intense. Sometimes there was a bit too much free time between the classes. This time could have been used to dive into details or to teach additional technologies.
But nonetheless, I would definitely come for another BootCamp to Spiced as every Teacher is such a cool person!
