When I joined Mento, it was a leap of faith since it was a new bootcamp however it did not fail me. Considering I already had several UX projects under my belt, I was not new to UX when I joined. My goal was to get effective mentoring from industry experts. Overall it was a fantastic way to meet people. get good mentoring on my path from experts and grow further in my career. Would definitely recommend other people to join if they are looking to start their journey into UX.

Bay Valley tech has provided an amazing experience and I am extremely grateful for everything that has been done to help me make a career change. Bay Valley Tech offers free education and makes it fun! I started in the Digital Design cohort of 233 (march 2023) and after having so much fun designing my own web applications, graphics, and even learning how to write my own code, in an engaging, welcoming, and friendly environment, it sparked an interest to further pursue computer science. After completing the bootcamp I returned to community to college and am now working towards a degree in computer science and a Job in cyber security all while participating in Bay Valley techs paid internship. This school has not only supported me educationally but it has supported me financially as well. And in a time where my families finances have been the most constrained. I also want to mention that I work a full-time job outside of everything at Bay Valley Tech and I am a father to a 3-year-old girl and bay valley tech has done wonders by allowing me to work around my busy schedule. Thank you Bay Valley Tech! I am looking forward to continuing my learning here.

I almost didn't sign up for a bootcamp and wanted to do it myself with online courses. I couldn't really justify a remote camp because why not just do it through udemy otherwise? So I wanted something I could attend in person both for accountability and for atmosphere and environment. I also wanted something affordable.
The fact that the course was only 13 weeks was another big plus. I wanted to be done, and be working on my own projects and looking for a job. So this course gave me what I was looking for.
And hey, another huge perk? I was able to live in the student housing provided. :) The course was great! I would recommend it.

Quick Start was a training program that I needed to push me. They never gave up on me, they worked with me so I could understand the terms, practices, and procedures, also how to apply them. They gave me all the tools I needed plus two vouchers after I completed the boot camp. My decision to join Quick Start was a great choice. Before I forget, my instructor is really good, he wasn't one of those who didn't care if you understood, he would ask us questions to make sure we understood. He never allowed us to go on even if we had to take a breather and come back, we did just that. This was an experience, no, a journey I never knew I could accomplish. The best Bootcamp option that you can go for, the instructors and members is very helpful, for those who doesn't really want to spend another 4 year getting a uni degree can go for sigma school , which they teach u the required skill for landing a tech job in just 3 months. Although it may sound too good to be true, but if u put your 100% effort in it , Im sure that you will be thankful after graduate since I'm  also one of a student myself .

The courses really did help me learn especially their angular course. It really exceeded my expectations. What is more is the fact that Its absolutely free and full of informative resources.

This course is intense, with 12 weeks of learning growing, and projects. However, the coaches and Talent team will make sure that you feel comfortable and provide any help you might need. The course will also be very rewarded the projects let you see how far you have come and what you can do. This entire course will make you feel very confident in joining the tech industry. Trust in the process, some times you will feel like you can't do this but it will dissipate when you start to see how much you have learned and the things you can build. The coaches and Talent team are always there to help you through anything. 

 Before enrolling at The Jump, I was working in hospitality for several years. I joined The Jump’s full-time immersive full-stack software engineer bootcamp with the goal of changing to a career in software engineering. 

My experience at The Jump was great overall. The bootcamp not only sharpened my skills in modern web technologies but also equipped me with a strong foundation in JavaScript. The instructors are knowledgeable and exceptionally supportive, providing personalised guidance throughout the course. 

I thoroughly enjoyed the fast-paced, collaborative environment at The Jump. Belajar di JayJay emang asik pake banget! Kayaknya baru ini aku nemu tempat belajar online yang sangat se-niat ini. Kenapa ga niat coba; materi bisa diakses kapanpun, waktu belajar juga fleksibel, ada mentor yang bisa kamu tanya sampe kamu ngerti tentang materi tersebut, dan kalo lagi ngerjain tugas terus kita dpt nilai yang kurang, kita dikasi tau salahnya dimana dan kita bisa reupload tugas yang salah tadi. My experience at Devslopes has been incredibly fulfilling. The supportive community and dedicated instructors have made my journey here truly remarkable. Beyond just learning, I've found a second family in my classmates and mentors.

I recently completed the Codeworks bootcamp, and I can confidently say that it was an incredibly enriching experience. The course is meticulously designed, starting with the fundamentals of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and progressively moving on to full-stack development using Node.js and popular frontend frameworks like Angular and React. The curriculum is well-crafted and ensures that by the end of the course, students are well-prepared to build robust, full-stack applications.

One of the standout aspects of Codeworks is the instructor coordinator, Brent. He leads the teaching team with a clear and effective approach to instruction. Brent emphasizes problem-solving and self-reliance, which really pushes students to develop their critical thinking and coding skills. While the course is undeniably intense, Brent and the other instructors strike a perfect balance between encouraging independence and providing support. I had the pleasure of meeting with Brent a few times, and each interaction reinforced how dedicated and thoughtful the teaching approach at Codeworks is.

The bootcamp is demanding, but students who come in with the right mindset—curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones—will thrive. The only instances where I saw students struggle were when they weren't interested in challenging themselves beyond their existing knowledge. That said, even with my 10 years of coding experience, I found the bootcamp to be incredibly valuable. The environment at Codeworks is nothing short of inspiring. The positive atmosphere and the constant encouragement to tackle ambitious projects allowed me to grow in ways I never expected.

The course is also great for beginners. Many in my cohort came in with little or no coding experience, and they thrived. The precourse material, completed as part of the application process, does an excellent job of teaching the fundamentals of JavaScript. We also spent the first few days of the bootcamp recapping this material in more detail, providing a solid foundation from which to build for the rest of the course. This approach makes the course approachable for beginners while still being challenging enough for those with more experience.

At Codeworks, students also create their own projects, entirely led by themselves, which allows them to build incredible full-stack applications to add to their portfolios. These projects push their skills to a level that truly sets them apart. The experience of working on these projects closely mimics the environments developers encounter every day in the workplace, providing invaluable real-world experience.

Moreover, Codeworks sets you up brilliantly to enter employment afterward if you wish to get a job in computer science. Maria runs the careers department and is available to help Codeworks alumni long after graduation. The structure of the course lends itself toward employment. After graduation, students can choose to participate in weekly group calls to support their job search, and Maria is more than happy to do one-on-one calls when needed.

The community built by the students and staff at Codeworks is outstanding. Every student learns from one another and pushes each other to get the best out of themselves. Rather than competing against one another, the students work together, exchanging ideas and knowledge. This sense of community and the drive to build everyone up creates an incredibly supportive atmosphere to enter every day. The same is true of the teacher-student relationship. It’s far more of a mentorship role than that of a typical teacher. By not even the end of the course, more like halfway through, we all felt that the staff on the course were friends and mentors. Rather than just having teachers, I now feel like I have a set of mentors who I can turn to even after finishing the course. It’s great being able to chat with them and exchange ideas and knowledge. They all have incredible depths of knowledge to draw from, and their insights are invaluable.

I would recommend being in-person if at all possible, as it helps develop this relationship with the staff and fellow students, and I think these relationships are the most valuable part of the course. I was on the London campus, and it was an incredible experience. We interacted with the other campuses and remote students every day. The remote students are also incredibly well supported and had a great time, but a few admitted that they wished they had chosen to join one of the campuses. They could see how much it helped us to have a physical space and surrounding ourselves with other students and staff added another dimension to our experience.

In summary, Codeworks is more than just a coding bootcamp—it’s a transformative experience. Whether you’re a beginner or have years of experience like myself, you’ll find the curriculum, the instructors, and the overall environment to be top-notch. I highly recommend Codeworks to anyone looking to take their coding skills to the next level, build strong professional relationships, and set themselves up for a successful career in tech.

My choice of Beetroot Academy can be considered a combination of external factors and a comparison of conditions with courses from other schools that I considered. And as it can be understood, this comparison was in favor of Beetroot Academy. But let's go through it all step by step.
At first, I chose another school, but I encountered a bad sales manager who initially promised to meet me regarding the cost of the course, as at that time I couldn't afford to pay for the course in one payment. And then he even suggested taking a loan to pay for the course. Since the characteristics of IT courses concern only the teacher, the program, and the final results, and sales managers are not related to this, I will skip the name of the school.

So when this option fell through, I started looking further, and I preferred Beetroot Academy precisely over Projector due to the following factors:

I can say that the course completely met my expectations, even despite minor negative moments. As a result, I implemented the final project of this kind: a Telegram bot, to which I connected artificial intelligence (open-source LLM) and implemented the ability to communicate with it (ask questions and get answers) exclusively using voice messages.

Jigsaw Labs does a great job in preparing you to be a data engineer. The first portion of the course involves going through software engineering covering back end development. Starting out with going through some basic fundamentals of coding involving arrays, dictionaries, functions, and tests. Everything builds on itself starting from day one ensuring that one is able to gain continued practice and exposure to the concepts in different formats. From there it goes into learning about codebase navigation and implementation. Ensuring that you know how to setup a codebase for a project, and are able to navigate a codebase and make changes to the code. Afterwards, it takes you through SQL, OOP, and system design to fully bring together the construction of backend tasks and logic as a software engineer. 

This all takes up the first half of the course. After getting through this, things begin getting interesting. Students are matched up with various companies for an internship that runs in parallel to the course for the remainder of the program. With this you get live practice and opportunities in a professional setting along with mentorship from the company you're working with and the jigsaw team of instructors. This opportunity gives the chance to practice things such as stand-ups, organization of job needs and demands and more important soft skills that contribute to the ability of one to become a strong and effective software and/or data engineer. All of this is in addition to the technical skills being learned and practiced from the opportunity. This portion of the class involves at least 6 hours with that time coming from dedicated in class time with myself and many other of my classmates choosing to put in more time outside of class hours. 

While this is taking place, we begin going through devops, cloud, analysis, and other current in demand data engineering tools(the curriculum is continuously updated to remain relevant). In my cohort we covered docker and learned how to work with it and then based on the response of the job market, terraform was included in the following cohort and made available to those of us from previous cohorts. AWS is the cloud provider of choice and we work with it and learn how to use parts of its ecosystem such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift as part of constructing a data pipeline. We also work with leading/emerging technologies in the industry such as Airflow and Prefect for workflow orchestration, DBT, DuckDB, and more. Afterwards we worked with tableau to practice presenting our findings for our target audience in a concise way that delivers our message through things such as dashboards.

Last but not least, we get to part of what truly helps distinguish this bootcamp. The job support and preparation is amazing. As we begin nearing the end of our formal classes and instructions DSA and leetcode practice is incorporated. This is for both python and sql. Additionally, reviewing and gaining understanding of the core key concepts we've covered throughout the course, how they function, and how to use/incorporate it in an appropriate way in a live setting is covered. This helps prep for conceptual and higher level questions that test understanding. From there, training and prep for answering interview questions is done.

When the course officially 'ends' a continuation of interview prep and content review is done. This helps ensure we are able to maintain and continue growing our skills that we've learned over the previous 6-7 months. Additionally, the team of instructors meets with you to help curate a tailored plan to find a job based on your experience and interests. At this point, some people continue on with their internships, some get offered more permanent roles, some find new internships, while some just continue to practice. All this takes place while applying for jobs. Help is provided on that front with slack channels, groups, and more that can help us network and expose us to opportunities that we might have previously missed. 

When I was applying for a job, I was given help with things such as resume construction, mock interviews, conferences and more. Overall, I'll repeat the process and recommend the program to others. The content is top notch, the instruction is first class, and the opportunities one has available afterwards speaks volumes. It can be a lot of work to keep up and ensure you're doing your best and properly learning the content, especially if you're new to coding. Even though I had experience I still learned a lot from the course and had to put in my share of hours as well. However, it's well worth it because of the skill-set you come out with. Nothing is a guarantee. However, I can say with strong confidence that if one puts in a strong effort into the course you'll come out with something that will help move you down your career path.
