I recently completed an SQL course, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience. The course was well-structured, starting with the basics of SQL and gradually moving into more advanced topics like joins, subqueries, and database normalization. Each module built on the previous one, making it easy to follow and absorb. What stood out the most was the hands-on approach—working on real-world queries and datasets helped me truly understand how SQL is used in practical scenarios. The instructor BRIGHT CHAVALALA explained concepts clearly and were always available to answer questions, which made the learning environment very supportive, he is truly a professional By the end of the course, I felt confident writing complex queries, analyzing data, and even optimizing database performance. It’s a skill I now use regularly, and it’s opened doors to new opportunities in my professional life. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone looking to build or strengthen their SQL skills. Whether you're a beginner or someone looking to polish your knowledge, this course delivers value every step of the way.

When I started looking for classes for data science, I could find many with varied syllabus, none to my satisfaction of what I wanted to learn as core. It was by pure chance I found Byte Academy as they don't have a strong online presence. Also when I started exploring, I couldn't find ANY reviews about Bangalore Centre. But since they had an impressive syllabus, I took a leap of faith. Foundation - Beginner and Intermediate Python: I joined Foundation Course as I am a total fresher to programming. It is a 4week programme with 2hrs of class 5days a week. The aim is to bring up to a level to cope up with the Full Time programme which we were told is going to be rigorous. Instructor Kapil was young but well experienced and himself a Data Science practitioner. He is very structured in the way he proceeded with each session. Though the instruction was for 2hrs, it kept us occupied for the entire day with assignments. Since the batch was small, the instructor could understand the strength and weakness of each student and guide us accordingly. Patience was his greatest asset and that’s what is most required in a beginner batch when people are fresh into programming. Data Science - Full Time: Phase 1 - Advanced Python: Since day 1, we started feeling the heat of boot camp. The learning curve was steep and directly entered into advanced python. Assignments were heavy and a lot of things need to be explored on your own. Though Instructor Uday is not from Computer Science background, that doesn't deter him from teaching what you required to succeed. At times, I even doubted his ability and the take-back of whole programme. It will all become clear only during the time of phase-1 end assessment. A fairly thorough (difficult) test of your knowledge and proof of how much the instructor has trained you for this very thing with practice problems every single day. That was the time my faith about him and my judgement to come here got restored completely. Phase 2 - Core Data Science: You will see a different side of Uday. By education and training he is a statistician and that’s what Data Science is all about and all you need. The amount of knowledge he has in the field just amazes me. He never gets tired of explaining the same concepts again and again until you get it right. Few times, which rarely came, if he didn't know the thing you asked him about, he will sit through it and come back with an answer rather than try to avoid the question entirely. He is very much approachable and friendly. On the whole, I recommend Byte Academy and this boot-camp style programme to people who have time and rigor to put a little more effort to cope up with the instruction given.

I don’t think I could overstate the value of my time at NSS. I was a paralegal for 10 years and had no coding background or exposure to the tech world. I left the program feeling confident in my coding skills and having already accepted an offer with a starting salary nearly 60% higher than my previous job. I think NSS’s real competitive edge is 1) their wide network of employers who regularly hire from their programs and 2) the fact that they are a nonprofit. They really want you to succeed and get a great job, and they will do everything in their power to help you do it. Also, they want to do it as cheaply as possible, which is not the case with any other bootcamps I’ve seen. Great instructional teams, great career training, and great networking opportunities. This is a career launching program. Best decision of my life.

Diego Alvarez Verified via LinkedIn1Graduate • Course: Full-Stack Development Program - Full Time, Part Time, On Campus, Online, & Hybrid • TampaJob placement is a lie
I graduated jan 2024 and I can say with 100% confidence that I was lured in with false promises of job placement assistance right out of graduation. The program itself was less the mediocre, the instructors are all former students and their understanding of the material is cookie cut and strictly based on "how they did their project". Ask them what a binary tree is, ask them what polymorphism is, ask them what abstraction is, ask them what the law of detmeter is, ask them a question about anything relating to the foundations of software engineering that isnt strictly covered in the reading you are provided and you will get dazzled with bs, or deer in the headlights looks.. The first time my eyebrows were raised was when I heard an instructor boast conversationally about "how hard it was learning about the area of a binary tree". I happen to have a degree in software engineering and I happened to know that there was no such thing that existed. I tried to verify if they meant the diameter of a binary tree and they got visibly annoyed that I would question them and doubled down on their claim. To this day I have no idea what the heck the area of a binary tree is, and neither do the software engineers I graduated with.. They were not aware of my education at that time, but I had just began to become fully aware of their ignorance. After supposedly being one of the top performers that has ever gone through that program (Which by the way is subjective as I was told I was given a 99% on an assignment instead of the 100% I deserved because "they wanted me to work harder"), they ignored my request for a letter of recommendation without an explanation, and upon graduation I was told I would be using a job board with outdated job postings and meet with someone for 30 mins once a week to see how my job search was going. There is no job placement assistance, there is nothing that I saw backing their "Codeboxx for life" promise. Its all recruitment talk and its is, in my opinion, all lies. What really got me worked up is that I requested a letter of recommendation about 2 months prior to graduation while I was working my butt off and "doing very well" so that I could try to get a job lined up, and it went fully ignored. Then upon graduation I am immediately contacted and asked if I can be showcased as a success story to promote codeboxx.. Are you kidding? What in thee narcissistic heck is that?? A success story? Really? Your job placement advertising is a lie. You wouldnt even help me on my job search with a LOR after boasting of how well I was doing.. I couldn't believe my ears, the audacity! This place is a scam, you will be expected to go through the material that you will get little to no assistance with, and will basically end up teaching yourself. Upon graduation, all you have to look forward to is a job board with outdated job posting. This is a waste of time, effort, and energy. You could literally learn the same material, with adequate instruction, using udemy. Heck, go to community college and get actual professors to teach you the same stuff, adequately, with an actual certificate to show for it, at a fraction of the price. (Edit: I just saw that they went back and changed the 90.2% job placement on their website to reflect graduates up until July 2023 because those figures are more like 0%-50% after that.)
