Learning to code is not an easy task, and it is not for everyone, but Wyncode's teaching staff were a fantastic resource and were available at all hours during the program. They bring a ton of knowledge and experience and are by your side willing to put in the time with you.
They also provide access to the tech community in South Florida, and put you in front of hiring partners who you wouldn't otherwise have access to. There are always events and networking opportunities available, and they push you to get out there and participate.
Now that I am working as a developer I realize there is still a lot to learn after Wyncode, but they gave me the foundation to move forward learning on my own and enough knowledge to go through an interview and start a career as a junior developer.
For anyone considering Wyncode, you should ask yourself:
1. "Am I willing to work harder than I ever have?"
2. "Am I motivated to learn in class AND on my own time?"
3. "Do I enjoy problem solving?"

(1) technical foundation // Wyncode provides a foundation in technical skills for web development. Course content is comprehensive for what is necessary to start a career as a developer. The instructors are proven professionals in their fields and are devoted to providing the necessary attention to each student.
(2) business fundamentals and product development // Writing code is powerful, but is only one aspect of what makes a business prosper. Wyncode supplements their technical instruction with teaching business fundamentals, particularly in the scope of rapid product cycles that are relevent in fast-growing companies. "Lean startup" and "agile product management" are given just attention to ensure that Wyncode graduates can relate their work in the context of a business strategy. These elements are important to understand as a job candidate and offer a way to gain an edge when entering the tech work force.
(3) relationships in the tech community // Wyncode has a powerful network of technology professionals who are influential, inspirational, and impactful. Students have privileged access to members of that network, which is a meaningful feature of the experience that is beyond the scope of a curriculum and cannot be replicated by an online course.

Demanding Yet Empowering
Being here was a helpful experience in transitioning into UX Design by learning a variety of skills ranging from research into UI design and even properly presenting with sharing our thought process to demonstrate our understanding and effective storytelling. The deadlines were very tight given that the bootcamp is 3 months and so much that was taught. The educators gave us a lot to learn to have a solid foundation of UX Design and we were able to practice those skills in different facets of UX Design.
I wish that the structure of the course was done better in a way where certain subjects we were meant to didn't get cut out due to having to prioritize students having more time to finish their work. Although, I understand that sentiment and I agree with it, I wish there was some way where what we need to learn that was on the schedule was able to take place.
Also wished that we could have learned more about AI. We b had a lecture but no workshop or projects or exercises at least. Granted, maybe it was meant to just be that, but considering that AI is growing as much as it is in tech, it would make sense for it to have an element be more hands on, especially for UX students who might be out in a situation where they're dealing AI once they graduate.

Bootcamps are career accelerators
I joined BrainStation as a UX design student, and I genuinely recommend the program for the mentorship, constant feedback, and content. Challenging,Exciting,Fun,Skill-Enhancing
After 12 weeks in this bootcamp i can say it was definitely worth the time and the money I invested into it. Very nice teachers, they will help you even after hours at anytime. The program itself was challenging for me because of zero experience prior to the program but on week 12 I’ve done stuff I thought I could never do. Challenging But Fun Course
This course was both challenging and rewarding. The instructors and TAs were fantastic, providing excellent support and guidance throughout the program. The curriculum covered all the essential skills needed to become a confident UX designer, starting with the fundamentals of research and progressing through UI design. The pace was admittedly fast, but it kept things moving and ensured we covered a lot of material.
