Stage 1 of the bootcamp was decent. The learning material was good even tho I think some of the projects could be better/real world. Zak is a great instructor and very helpful. There are TA's available for help, although I have to admit some of them have no idea what they are doing. Kelly was my SSM and she is very encouraging and helped me get back on track multiple times and get out of a slump. Stage 2 needs a lot of work. There is zero communication and you really have to chase people down to get an answer compared to stage 1 where everything is presented clearly and beautifully!

My learning experience with Quickstart has been wonderful. My local university helped me to enroll and learn more about what the program/school offered. When I began, my instructor helped me to download all of the necessary software tools correctly as well as Quickstart employees reaching out to make sure that I had all of my questions answered. While the curriculum is challenging, everything is displayed on the student Dashboard where students have access to everything they need. I appreciate how the subjects are well thought out, are evenly paced, and allow the students to follow along with the video instructor's software exercises. I also truly enjoyed having my Zoom class instructor, Dr. Farnaz Towhidi! She was absolutely amazing! She is extremely patient, kind, and takes time for all students to ask questions as well as make sure their computer system is working properly when doing class software hands-on examples. She teaches each subject thoroughly, and genuinely cares that each student understands the material. I also appreciate all of the career resources that Quickstart offers. Each one has been instrumental in changing the way I job search and apply for these career opportunities. If you or someone you know is considering a career in technology (the school offers multiple field specialities), I highly recommend staring with Quickstart. I didn't have any form of a software engineering or technology experience, but they make it so easy and simple for anyone to come and learn from any career background.

I always have been interested in programing but never knew where to begin. The coding bootcamp course is a great place to start that journey as a developer, the course is very fun and informative. There is an online platform to learn from during the course which is great for people, like me, who enjoy learning in their own speed. Currenty I'm working as a developer and the skills I needed to get the job I got from the course. Obviously the course is no magic, there are some people who expect to automaticlly get jobs with crazy salaries just because they did the course, the course is an amazing helping tool but if you wont try hard no course whould help you.

I have been very impressed with the thoughtfulness that must have gone into the development of this boot camp. The videos have been easy to digest and the projects reinforce what is learned. For the price, I doubt that there is a better valued program out there.

This review is based on my personal experience at The Skillians Academy. No training institute is perfect, so I’m sharing this with an open and unbiased mindset. I’m not labeling anything as a “pro” or “con”, because what works well for one person might not work for another. I’ll mainly highlight points you may not easily find on their website. For basic details, their official website is the best source. 1. Learning Environment The learning pace is fast. Foundational concepts are covered properly, but you must stay consistent. For each topic: Around 65–80% is taught in class The remaining 20–35% is expected to be learned through assignments 2. Assignments & Teaching Associates (TAs) Assignments play a major role in learning. If you get stuck, you can contact a Teaching Associate (TA). TAs are: Senior students or program graduates Meant to guide, not give direct answers They provide hints or direction, not solutions. Each TA has a different mentoring style. TA allocation is random. 3. Course Coverage Equal importance is given to: Web Development / Data Science (Pay After Placement program) Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) You cannot ignore DSA even if you are more interested in development. 4. Trainers & Teaching Style Trainer quality is consistent in some topics and inconsistent in some. Some trainers explain concepts very well. Others know the subject but struggle with clear explanations. Questions are allowed, but if clarity is lacking:Self-learning becomes necessary You cannot change trainers. You may switch batches, but:You cannot drop out midway once enrolled. 5. Placement Eligibility Criteria Placement eligibility starts only after becoming Skillians Accredited. To get accredited, you must clear: All units Assignments Projects Mock interviews Once eligible:You must attend at least 2 interviews per week 6. Placement Rules & Relocation If you clear an interview: You are expected to join the company Relocation is mandatory if required (unless remote) If you refuse to join after clearing an interview:Your ISA gets activated In my case: I was placed through Skillians I relocated as required 7. CTC & Salary Reality Minimum guaranteed CTC: ₹8 LPA My offer: ₹8.1 LPA total ₹7 LPA fixed ₹1.1 LPA variable/bonus 8. ISA & Loan Breakdown (Very Important) The ISA details on the website can be confusing, so here’s a simple example: If your CTC is ₹8 LPA: Monthly salary: ~₹66,666 Take-home: ~₹62,000–66,000 ISA Details: ISA amount: ₹1,00,000 GST (18%): ₹18,000 Total repayment: ₹1,18,000 Duration: 12 months Monthly EMI: ~₹9,880 Effective take-home after EMI: ₹66,000 – ₹9,880 ≈ ₹54,600 per month 9. Job Loss & EMI Risks If you lose your job:EMI does not pause automatically you will have to request them You must inform Skillians and request temporary support. You cannot claim tax deductions. 10. Final Thoughts Think carefully before joining Skillians or any ISA-based program. Training and placement support exist. But the entire repayment responsibility is on you. Do not rely only on the institute. 11. I highly recommend PRAGRA and their Program intro to web development! Our teacher Prerit and all the mentors go above and beyond. They are all nice, encouraging, helpful and compassionate. They also teach material that is up to date and give us great notes and materials to refer to! Like any other self-taught developer, I was learning aimlessly with YouTube videos and online resources. But then I come to know about Mate Academy and I am blown by their curriculum and structural method of teaching. I learned so much in 4 months that I never learned in a year when I was in college or school. In exactly 4 months I got my first offer letter from the employer where I am working right now! Here you can interact with people from all around the world. Here you learn how to work with a team and individually. Always there will be a Mentor to help you if you have some issue with your understanding of the concept or your code, there will be someone to review your code (other students and final review by Mentors) which is not possible with online courses or other resources. Here you will not just learn to program but you will learn soft skills as well, which is much more important than coding skills, especially when you have to work with people from a different culture. You have so many tech checks and interview practices that you will never be nervous in your real interview. The best part is that you will get a job assistance which is not just for your first job but for your next job as well. Mate is not asking for anything upfront but just your dedication and being honest with yourself. Hopefully, this will help other students as well who are looking for a good school to start their career in software development.

Having almost no previous background in coding, I completed CodeCore's 3-month course 2 years ago. A few months after my graduation I started working as a professional web developer. I feel well equiped by the education at CodeCore and emotionally supported by the welcoming community. The school truly offers quality education in this fast-paced tech world. The tuition is really fair too, compared to similar programs in town, considering the instruction time and reputation etc. For what I've been able to get out of the bootcamp (coding knowledge, confidence for technologies in general, career prospect, financial income, developer community connection etc.), attending CodeCore has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I started without knowing coding or even what a QA Engineer is. What is an API, what is Github? Playwright? Now after the course I can write a test automation suite from scratch using playwright. I have the confidence of a mid level QA engineer and a set of skills that will support me for the rest of my life.

I really enjoyed my time at Covalence. The videos were very well done, and the labs did a good job of assessing my knowledge of the material. I can’t say enough good things about the instructors. They let me know (literally every day) they were available for any questions I had. They made sure I knew the fundamentals and were positive and encouraging when I was having difficulty with some concept. They were instrumental in helping me set expectations for implementing features in projects, completing projects, and all throughout the job search experience. I felt I was well prepared for searching for jobs, and was hired within a few months.

Get dragging out of your comfort zone learning in the most comfortable experience and place on earth! CodingNomads provided a thoroughly immersing experience into the world of coding. For someone like me who was not familiar with anything beyond a 'windows pc fixing' level of IT, it meant going through a steep learning curve. The learning provided an understanding of the fundamental concepts of coding, hands-on practice in the very structured online course with personal remote mentor as a starting point. My personal reflection on the full experience is that the more time and energy you spend on the online course, the faster you follow the fastpaced exciting tasks during the on-site boot camp. Taking a good 6 to 8 weeks for the online part will get you places with Python and SQL. Once the on-site boot camp starts, the excitement of the owners, organisation, teachers, and fellow students reaches boiling point. A time where, based on your interests and aspired app, you are able to put all the elements of the boot camp together to design, build and launch your own web application. Outside class, expect a lot of fun times - if you take the leap of faith to opt-in - exploring all the best food places, bars, clubs, waterfalls, trips and pools. The more fun you bring in, the more fun you get out of it. I strongly recommend the CodingNomads Python Fullstack web development boot camp. It provided me with a thorough understanding of coding and IT principle, Python as a new (coding) language to me, and a new group of friends from across the world. Ironically, I am writing this quite positive review after 'complaining' myself to the CodingNomads team that I could only find very positive reviews before signing up. I am taking a full-stack mobile developer training. The instructors are good people, but unfortunately, they are very weak when it comes to teaching. We started the training with a very high-quality instructor, but then the instructor changed, and the quality dropped significantly. They are not interested in helping to solve your problems at all. Beyond the financial loss, it has been a huge waste of time and a big disappointment for me.

I attended the full-time day cohort and graduated 6 months ago and my life is definitely better. Some can say I am biased because I am on the staff page, but I am only there because I volunteer my time at the school. If the school did not provide me with a great experience, I would not be volunteering my time. I do it because I believe in their vision of the community. It is a very fast-paced learning environment. You will work as groups and by yourself and be amazed at what you can create. They are always adjusting and tweaking their programs to offer students the best development tools and skills. It is true the school does not guarantee a job, but they do have a career development team that is very hands-on and very involved. The team will help you put a resume together., evaluate your personal website, help with your linked in profile, help you build your network, organize meet and greets with developers and employers, mock interviews and make recommendations and offer guidance to name a few things that they do. As a non-profit, the school is very vested in producing solid junior developers and helping them get employed. They want to prepare you for your new career, not maximizing profits.

I got to know CoderSchool via a Facebook ad. I had my doubt about the school for I thought it would be like any course that I could easily find on Coursera or Udemy. thought. I enrolled in this course anyway since I had wanted to enter the IT industry. I was very pleased with the way the class is organized as well as the teaching staff who are every friendly and always ready to provide me with every piece of advice that I need.
