One of my favorite things that they offer was unlimited one on ones! This really helped me when I was falling behind on some exercise and projects! They also offer Career Services where you can do Mock interviews, get help fixing your resume, and basically molding you to be job ready! Other than that, this is one of the most affordable bootcamps that I've seen while I was researching. They offer many payment plans that fits your budget. And I took the live classes, which was only 9 weeks, compared to other bootcamps that usually take 3 to 6 months. Overall experience 10/10! and I'll be graduating tomorrow!!

The Pros: The course is very well laid out and modules are easy to follow. The way it's taught online is better than anything else I've done in the past. TheyThe Pros:
- The course is very well laid out and modules are easy to follow. The way it's taught online is better than anything else I've done in the past.
- They have regular sessions with professionals to go over your coursework and answer your questions.
- They hold 'insider' talks so you can hear stories from people in the business from all different types of companies and backgrounds.
- You can talk to their careers guidance expert who'll give you really great feedback in terms of your work and how to land your first UX design or related job etc.
- They're a recognised institution and the certification will be taken seriously.
- You can work full time and do this course easily if you're disciplined.
The Cons:
- If you don't have a related background (Tech/IT/Design/Marketing) and apply for jobs with only your single UXDI case study to show, it'll be VERY hard to get a job. Luckily I do have the background and it's the main reason I'm getting replies to be very honest.
- UXDI do make it sound like you'll get a job straight away, you won't, well it depends on how seriously you take the course and how proactive you are, but don't expect a job to be just handed to you.
- You only get feedback if you ask, you need to be very proactive to do well and to receive help.
- It is expensive for something you can learn in your own time for free but you do get a cert and if you need the pressure of deadlines and someone grading you then I guess this isn't a con.
Overall:
- Really worth it if you have the time to put in and are passionate about this line of work. Do expect it to be difficult to land your first job but be patient and it'll all work out in the end.

From my experience and after completing the course, I can say the following.
The content of this course is great. It is suitable for both those who have no previous programming experience and those who have programming experience and just want to learn more about web development, like me.
Of course, as it is an online platform, the student must adapt to it and accept that the course is prepared to reach a large number of people. You should not assume the course will be tailor-made for you.
The Code Institute team is great, supporting anything you ask, as long as you follow the rules. You just need to take your learning experience seriously and get in touch immediately whenever you have any difficulties.
The rules are pretty clear. You must read and follow them, respecting the deadlines and contacting the Code Institute to temporarily block your access and postpone your deadlines, if there is any personal or professional situation preventing you from studying and progressing in the course, so that you have time to successfully complete the course after this situation is resolved.
My learning experience with Code Institute was very pleasant. Being a bootcamp, there are some assumptions that you need to know upfront:- It will be FAST paced! It is a bootcamp after all. It will feel like cramming a few uni semesters into one.
- You need to have some competency in Python and A level/uni maths.
- Commit the ENTIRE 3 months to this course. Pretty much doesn’t leave much time for anything else.
Having said that, the course materials are very comprehensive and instructors very supportive.
Career coach is also very helpful, though of course only as helpful as the effort that you put in yourself.
There’s just a few areas that the course is lacking, which is understandable due to its short duration:- More comprehensive SQL. The bootcamp only touhes it superficially, though the industry seems to emphasise on this.
- Data visualisation softwares. Qlik/Tableau/Power BI is not covered at all, but will be a huge bonus if you have some competency.

I work on a software development team and can now converse well with software engineers about technical topics I used to struggle with before signing up to Launch School.
Learning the fundamentals so thoroughly has also left me much more confident about, and able to, quickly pick up back-end and front-end frameworks, as well as understanding how fully-fledged web applications work internally.
The biggest takeaway for me was learning how to learn. I am now confident that I'll be able to learn whatever I want to in the future. The assessment feedback I received was detailed and thorough, and gave me lots of information that I used to improve my learning and technical skills.
All in all, I know I can work through a number of interesting yet difficult technical books and not feel the need to give up. That knowledge and confidence is priceless - and what mastery-based learning leaves you with. I have the Core Curriculum to thank for that (particularly the assessments I failed!).
Launch School has certainly changed the course of my career in tech and has left me empowered. I can take that all the way to retirement (and beyond!)
