Back in my college days, I got placed into a low paying startup and honestly I was quite unhappy with the package. I felt I was decent at DSA and had prepared well, so ending up with a below average offer was pretty disappointing. I started applying off-campus, but wasn’t getting any responses, which made it even more frustrating. That’s when I came across Bosscoder and enrolled in their program in January 2024. Initially I was a bit unsure, but the classes were well structured and focused a lot on problem solving rather than just theory. The program included classes and one on one mentorship program. I was interested in getting guidance because it became too hectic to learn by myself and handle work. While I had good knowledge of DSA, I was not aware of Design. The classes on HLD and LLD were quite useful to me. My mentors were from MAANG - they took my mock interviews, explained how to present my answers in real life interviews.

I got placed at JPMC as SDE II. The recruitment process included rounds which included coding, DSA and System Design. I was just fresh out of college when I joined Bosscoder. I had not joined a company then so I wanted to learn the relevant skills which will help get into a product based company. I decided to join Bosscoder as I needed a structured curriculum which will help me start my learning journey. 


Classes began with the CS fundamentals then we moved to DSA and System Design. Classes were easy to understand. The instructors taught everything in detail and cleared all the doubts in the live sessions. The important questions were present on the platform which 
I used to practice after taking classes. My mentor Sankalp guided me on which role to go for and what techstacks I should work on.

I got placed in the Data domain at Epsilon. I was working as ETL Developer at Infosys for 3.5 years but failed to grow in terms of skills and package. I had been working on ETL but wanted to learn skills like SQL and Python. I found these skills in the Data Analytics program of Bosscoder so I decided to enroll in it. Live classes were useful as I could grasp the concepts related to SQL and Python. I felt motivated to learn as I had a roadmap set by instructors for each topic. I learnt about bosscoder when I had just started working with a startup. I wanted to learn concepts related to DSA and System Design. I realized I needed guidance on how to approach these concepts. I checked out Bosscoder’s course and I found it interesting. I decided to enrol into the program.




The content in the classes was good, the instructors explained concepts of DSA and System Design in an easy manner, especially the HLD part. I really liked the classes of High level design. My mentor Himanshi guided me well on what important concepts to cover for the real life interviews. Having one on one guidance from the mentor played a huge rule in improving my profile. I made sure I was consistent with practising questions after every session.

I joined their Data Engineering program while working at Deloitte USI (where I spent about 4.6 years) because I wanted to strengthen my fundamentals and make a career move into a better role. After completing the program, I successfully switched to KPMG India with a solid offer, and I can confidently say that Bosscoder played a big role in that transition. Course Structure & Learning Path One of the things I appreciated the most was the structured curriculum. Instead of jumping randomly between tools and concepts, the course follows a clear roadmap:

Joining the Bosscoder Transformer Program was one of the best decisions I made for my career.

Before writing the reveiew I would like to say my review is totally based on the batch I was allocated.

I enrolled in the DSA Transformer program at Bosscoder with the expectation of strengthening my DSA skills and improving my chances of switching to a product-based company. Overall, I would say the experience has been a mix of strengths and shortcomings, and I believe prospective students should know both sides before enrolling.

What I liked

• The DSA instructor was one of the strongest aspects of the course. The teaching style was structured, interview-oriented, and made difficult concepts easier to understand.
• The curriculum is generally designed with product-company interviews in mind, covering important DSA topics and providing practice material.
• The peer community is good, and interacting with other working professionals is motivating.
• The LMS and practice platform are well organized.

Areas that need improvement.
Preparation for placements were good as optimizing CV and LinkedIn will be done in agreat manner.

The biggest concern during my batch was course execution and planning rather than the content itself.

One of the most important DSA topics—Dynamic Programming—was not completed before placements started. We were informed that recorded sessions would be provided due to time constraints, but many of us had joined specifically for live, interactive classes. For such an important topic, live sessions would have been much more valuable. Therefore, if you are willing to join you should also see if nthe course is going according to the curriculum.

The program should do a better job of aligning specialization with students' backgrounds. As someone already working as a Java Backend Developer with several years of experience, I was placed in the MERN specialization. While MERN is a good stack, it wasn't aligned with my career goals, and switching technologies while managing a full-time job wasn't practical. While for fresher to learn different technologies is a great way to have knowledge in diverse domain but for experience like me would face some difficulties in changing the skills.

Many discussions happened through Zoom chat.

Placement support is an area where expectations should be managed carefully. Resume reviews were provided, but getting interview opportunities still depended heavily on individual preparation, experience, and market conditions.

Bosscoder has good instructors, especially for DSA, and the curriculum has the potential to help candidates prepare for product-company interviews. However, I believe the organization should focus more on execution, scheduling, mentor availability, specialization alignment, and completing the curriculum before placements begin.

If you're someone who is self-disciplined and can supplement the course with your own learning, you'll likely benefit from the program. At the same time, don't expect the course alone to guarantee placements—you'll still need to invest significant effort outside the classes. Read less

My experience with Bosscoder Academy.
**You can't cancel the course in between and you have to pay future payments even if opted out from the.course.

Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this course for working professionals or students expecting quality training.

The instructors did not meet my expectations. At times, the sessions felt like they were being conducted as a side job rather than as a dedicated teaching commitment. If you are dissatisfied with an instructor, you are allowed to change instructors only once, which is quite restrictive.

During live classes, students are generally not allowed to unmute and interact directly with the instructor. Doubts have to be posted in the Zoom chat, and there is no assurance that every question will be answered or explained properly. This makes the learning experience less interactive and difficult, especially when you need immediate clarification.

The course content is explained using very basic examples, which may not be sufficient for learners expecting in-depth, industry-level training. Considering the total cost, I did not feel the course offered value for money.

Another major concern was the fee transparency. I was informed that the course fee was ₹1 lakh. However, after the financing process through Jodo, I discovered that the total repayment amount was around ₹1.24 lakh, including financing charges. This additional financial commitment was not clearly explained to me before I enrolled.

I strongly advise anyone considering this course to:

- Get the complete cancellation and refund policy in writing.
- Understand the total repayment amount, including any financing or interest charges.
- Request all promises and commitments from the sales team in writing before making any payment.
