There is a lot to study; the coaches provide extra materials that helps you understand everything. They are also very professional and designed the course curriculum in a way that’s suitable for all students.
The projects and exercises are very realistic, and once you complete 50% of the course, you are on your way to begin learning Machine, Deep Learning, and Data Science in-depth.
The course is well structured, with self-paced courses and tutors were hands on ground to provide all the support I needed. The tutors took their time to break down complex concepts like as descriptive and inferential statistics. You'll also get a completion certificate at the end which is a major plus when job hunting.... Read Less

Originally a marketer, I wanted to change my career and learn new skills in the wake of the Covid19.
Being a total computer-illiterate, I joined the Fullstack Intensive course after a positive impression by Kyle and Judy.
Even though the courses were not cheap, it is still much affordable than most tech bootcamps in the US or Europe.
As I am now landing an internship in an AI company, I can say the curriculum was well-done and useful. It provides good fundamentals in Front and Back-end as well as the skills in demand on the job market.
All the workers (from the founders to teachers and interns) are nice, friendly and helpful. I wish to thank them for that.
Big thumbs up for the Job Support also. The school provides a custom-made assistance for the students, sharing with them internships/job opportunities and counselling regarding their visa status.
On the other hand, it is called intensive for a reason: do not even think of joining if you are not committed.
Keep in mind learning new skills and finding a job is a very taxing process. Especially if you have zero scientific/technical background.
As far as I am concerned, it was a very stressful experience.
If that's the case, be kind to yourself. Work on your portfolio, stick around and look for internships.
To conclude, Wcoding will give you the tools, the guideline and the proper environment to start a career in the Tech Industry.
Nonetheless, you will need a lot of time and even more practice to land the job of your dreams at Google.
It is hard, but it is doable.
Now go coding.
Pros:
- Teaches useful coding languages and essential coding skills (much more effective than self-studying)
- Great team: teachers and developers will always make time to listen to you and help you work on your projects.- Our main teacher Marie was professional and encouraging with a non non-sense attitude.
- You learn by doing.- Sets you on track for the job market.- Able to network with other developers.
- The school never gives up on you as long as you don't give up on yourself.
Suggestions:
-How about a slightly longer learning period ?
-Create programs based on each student's level (beginner, faux-beginner, experienced and so on...)
-Hire more teachers
-More counselling about personal development for each student.- 14Reviews1CourseThe App Academy was established in 2014 as the first Dutch coding school, and now offers intensive 8-week in-person iOS Development bootcamps in Amsterdam, N... Not only do they take everybody in mind ( from people with no experience to people with a lot of experience) but they also are just really there to provide you with industry knowledge to get you out in the job market. As an international student I was hesitant at first thinking about the whole paper work I would have to fill in but Tom my DSO and Anthony helped me every step of the way not only did they guide me through the process but once the course started were they available pretty much to answer any of my concerns. Then talking about the teachers they all come from various backgrounds in the industry and have so much knowledge about the industry standards that it is often so interesting to hear them explain concepts and see how they approach problems (shout out to my teachers Rashaan and Kelvin they really thought me so much). This doesn't take away from the fact that you will always have to put in the work to learn the concepts you see in class and to review and I guess 'do your homework'. If you are hesitant about joining a course or bootcamp then don't cause like I said code Immersives provides so much more then that. Read MoreMonash University Cybersecurity Bootcamp was an amazing 6 month experience, during this time we would be online 3 nights a week 6:30-9:30 and often I would need to put an extra 5-10 hours per week for the homework. The structure of the course essentially boiled down to: Introduction to a topic, followed by an activity to practice the use of said topic or research more of the topic etc. Finally at the end of each week homework would be assigned that would elaborate further on the weeks learning. So overall given a chance to embed the knowledge learned at each week. Most of the activities, if not all, were done in virtual labs and further enabled experimentation and learning. The highlight of the course for me was the instructor, Barry Anderson. Barry was a veritable library of knowledge and any time he went 'off' script, he would provide valuable information with examples. I would definitely recommend the course to anyone interested in pursuing Cyber Security. I attended this school online a year ago and have only great things to say about my experience.
The teachers are amazing, tolerant, motivated, and cheerful. The learning process is smooth and fun, you have the space to ask your questions and participate as well.
They offer the opportunity to learn online in a professional way in many fields and take care of enhancing your soft skills through various career services. But what is most important is that they prepare you for the practical world by realizing projects and presenting them, which was the best and the most interesting part of the Bootcamp.
I was honored to be with such incredible people like them, and I hope I'll have the chance to work with them soon.

Read MoreI was one of Code Career Academy's first full time students. I had previously been exposed to programming through college. I quickly realized that college was lacking the hands on approach that I wanted. The solution to my problem was Code Career Academy. Their head instructor, Jeff Ammons, is the most knowledge programming teacher I know. The course was properly structured so students had enough time to learn a concept and go hands on. No matter your skill level, Jeff has the ability of adapting to you. Jeff Ammons never lacked an answer to any of my programming questions. He not only answered my questions, he also explained “why”.
After completing the course, it was up to me to use all the skills learned at Code Career Academy. No school or person can guarantee you a job, so it is up to each student to set their own path. I chose to pursue freelance web development, as I searched and interviewed for different development companies. Jeff was very helpful with my job searching. After two months of applying and interviewing for jobs, I landed my first .NET software developer position. I can honestly say I made the perfect choice by choosing Code Career Academy.

Read MoreTLDR: This course is a fantastic investment. You will learn what you need to know in order to get hired as a junior dev immediately upon graduation, as long as you are appying yourself.
The long verison:
I was in the most recent cohort, Jan 2018-April 2018. I had an excellent experience. Trip and Tom are awesome teachers. Trip was our main instructor and he is REALLY fantastic at explaining difficult concepts, and clearly puts a great deal of thought into how he delivers information in order for the students to understand it best. It's pretty incredible how quickly they get you up and running, and in a lasting way - you aren't simply memorizing, you're really, truly learning.
By then end of the course, you will have the skills you need to be a junior full stack developer. I had no prior javascript knowledge going into the course, and before the course ended I accepted a job offer as a junior React developer here in Charleston. I'm in my first few weeks of the job now and it's going really well - I feel like I was well prepared, and my employers are surprised at how much I know already.
Like any course, or really anything in life, you do need to apply yourself. Trip and Tom will point you toward the right door, maybe even turn the handle a bit for you, but you have to push the door open and walk through it yourself if you want to get the most out of the course (as it should be). They are encouraging of this and they create a really positive learning environment. Trip is especially sensitive to the emotional dynamic of the class, which I really appreicated - he is empathetic to the frustration that comes with learning and does his best to keep everyone positive and in good spirits even through the toughest parts of the course.
Scool-life-balance: In the beginning there is not any homework. Any extracurriculars you do are up to you. I probably spent one night a week studying after hours to hammer in some concepts, which I'd recommend doing as a bare minimum. Once you get into the last 3 or 4 weeks of the course, you will be doing a good deal of work after hours to finish your final project. I know some folks had part time jobs outside of class, and if you have to do that you can pull it off - BUT, if you are forutnate enough to not have to work while in the course, I'd really recommend not working and just focusing on your studies.
This is all to say: this course ROCKS and is well worth the time and money. If you're trying to change careers, this is a really fantastic way to do it. By the time our cohort graduated, half the class either already had jobs or were pretty far along in the interview process. JRS rules!!!!!!!

Read MoreI found Kickstart Coding’s course content, instruction, and involvement in my learning process to be really amazing. They totally exceeded my expectations every step of the way!
After graduating from college, I really felt lost and anxious about not being able to find a job. I was looking for a coding bootcamp to review the knowledge I picked up in college and improve my skills. Kickstart Coding looked like it had a solid curriculum at a reasonable price so I decided to give it a try after attending some of their information sessions.
I recently landed my first front-end developer job two months after starting the course. I can confidently say that I was shocked at how quickly they prepared me for the transition.
The lessons were really easy to follow along with, and the approach is totally different from anything I experienced before. Instead of overloading me with all kinds of theoretical stuff, Michael focused on the fundamentals of programming, and provided a lot of activities to solidify my knowledge. He covered everything that was required to become a full-stack software engineer, starting with the basics like HTML, CSS, GIT, and Bash, to back-end technologies such as Heroku, Python, and Django, and finished with front-end projects using JavaScript and React. The 1-on-1 lessons were awesome, even if I didn’t always come with questions ahead of time about the course material. We also talked about the tech industry itself, their previous experience as software engineers, their and my current projects, and a lot more.
The custom-pacing structure was definitely a key factor of my success in landing my first developer job. At my request, Liam started my career activities within the first month of my start date alongside my coding lessons. This was crucial to landing an interview after sending out my first application!
Liam walked me through how to write resumes and cover letters, how to prepare for interviews, and basically everything I needed to know to feel prepared for the process. Michael would also dedicate time to preparing me for technical interviews. Even after I failed the last round at the first company, Michael and Liam were always encouraging me and pushing me to go beyond my limits and stay motivated. With that said, I landed my first developer job with less than a dozen applications, which I never had been able to do without the help of Michael and Liam.
I can’t stress this strongly enough, the Kickstart Coding bootcamp was worth every penny! It was such an amazing and inclusive environment. There were people totally new to programming alongside more experienced coders who were there to review their skills, and people who had asked for a more tailored curriculum to help them build their passion projects. It was a really special experience for me. I can’t thank them enough.... Read Less
