The course was intense in terms of learning so much in so little time, but I knew this going in to the course. I really enjoyed the experience regardless of this, and loved learning so many new skills with a subject I like and have interest in. I had a lot of fun and laughs, and actually wish it was a little longer or that we could do it all again because I loved it so much - I actually feel sad it's now over!!
I think the staff were probably my favourite part of the whole bootcamp, there weren't any teachers I didn't like. The course content was kept engaging by them and I had a lot of laughs. Most came across as relatable and lectures and livecodes weren't boring or dull.
There were a few topics I wish we could've spent more time learning in more depth, for example more on how to write tests or a bit more time on javascript (although this was covered - I'd just like to have learnt more to gain a deeper understanding myself!) but I don't think it could've been fit in to the current course length, it would need to be longer to be able to do this. For the short time, I still feel so much was covered and I've learnt so much.
I'm really surprised with how much I was able to learn, and how far I've come in so little time. In those first few weeks I never would have thought I'd have managed to achieve what I did during project weeks, let alone act as the lead developer overseeing the team and both practice and final projects!! My confidence in my abilities has increased hugely over the course, and the teachers and TA's also helped with that and validating that I did understand correctly when I had doubts.
Overall I'm actually going to miss the bootcamp where I enjoyed it and had so much fun (even with how tiring it also was!!). I've only just finished the bootcamp and next week there's been a career week set up for us to help with next steps for getting a job, so I can't currently give a fair review on this part yet. I really recommend this course and the whole experience and have no regrets over taking the leap and deciding to do it.

It was well organized, and the teachers were really helpful. Very good people. I'm coming from over a decade career as a chef; I always wanted to change careers, and I heard about LeWagon in 2015, but I didn't have a chance to fulfill this dream. Now I've made it! I learned a lot in this bootcamp: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and many other tools that helped me develop web applications from scratch. Well-organized challenges and lectures were on point. A very hard but amazing journey!

Thanks for everything, from the good days to the hard days, Le Wagon truly made these past couple weeks memorable and special in my life long journey.

    I most enjoyed:
-The subject of API parsing and data scrapping as it is highly relevant for anything i want to tackle in life in any industry
-The subject of plugging into chatgpt and utilizing overall AI to code as it becomes more prevalent in the industry, so getting a grasp of it is necessary for the real world and how we are gonna code in our lives post bootcamp
-Really enjoyed collaborating with other people on a github project to see how collaboration goes

The 9 weeks were intense and challenging, but the methodology and instructors` knowhow made it fun and easy to understand. They offer you so much resources, I'm still going through it after I had finished the bootcamp. Their support is great and you can tell they want you to succeed. I spent this time focused exclusively on the studies and I still managed to have fun with the students and instructors without feeling overwhelmed. The community is really welcoming and the alumni are always around for you to network, pick their brain or just have fun with.

I signed up for the Le Wagon data science bootcamp because of their reputation for quality and rigor, and they did not disappoint.  The course set me on the path to develop and use a current set of data science tools to build models based on deep learning algorithms.  Beyond the technical lessons, Le Wagon creates a positive social environment through actively planning and encouraging social activities.  The teaching assistants are excellent technicians and the teachers are not only technically excellent, but they are selected because they care about the students and are there all day to help.  The course is very rigorous and requires the full attention of students.  Having a significant programming background is very helpful, but a good aptitude is sufficient so long as the preliminary work is completed (and the preliminary work can take weeks or even months depending on the student's level of knowledge and experience).  Many but not all of the students come from an engineering or computer science background, but this is not required, though it helps.  My background included graduate level math and statistics, but very little programming.  I did struggle with many of the programming exercises, but with the help of the class, I was able to get through.  I would highly recommend Le Wagon data science for someone who is looking for hands-on experience with a current set of deep learning tools.  It is a tough course, but there is no easy was to build a strong data science toolkit.

coding from 0 to hero with The Wagon ?

I integrated The Wagon - Lyon in France from January to March 2024 with the goal to learn how to code in order to have the set of skill necessary to build products.
Before checking the box, i feel the need to explain that I had not any background in coding nor any experience what so ever. I am a nuclear engineer and i had only tryouts where I tried to learn by myself (C++ the first time 10years ago then Python 1 year ago ) but both attempts ended in failure.
With The Wagon, I finally achieved my goal. The intense 2-months program really worked out for me, that was for one. For two, the teacher were great and the lecture made very accessible to learn new concepts while each day the level kept increasing. At the end, through all the challenges and mini projects, I was able to do stuff i didn't thought possible in such short notice.
I highly recommend this training as it worked out for me.

    - Le wagon's environment is very friendly & fun to be at.
    - The syllabus and program is very well structured (like the  sequence of lectures, challenges, flashcards, online videos helps you to clarify things)
    - Supportive, well trained, knowledgeable teachers
    - If you are ready for intensive fast paced study ONLY then go for a full time course
    - To summarize I would say, lot of learning was possible only because of structured syllabus, helpful qualified teachers and inspite of such stressful pace, the fun & friendly environment made this bootcamp which looked initially very difficult but made it totally worth.
Note: Since my bootcamp will be finished on Mar 22,2024,  I will be able to comment about job perspective only after getting a job.

The 9-week bootcamp at Le Wagon Madrid was both a challenging and enriching experience. Starting with minimal knowledge, I progressed to a level where I can now discuss web development confidently. Throughout this journey, I completed several projects, mastering technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails. The staff's commitment to inclusivity and support was outstanding, ensuring no one felt isolated or unassisted. Collaborating on diverse team projects, I honed my teamwork and communication skills, while overcoming challenges such as tight deadlines and complex problem-solving. I recently completed the Le Wagon boot camp in Ruby on Rails, and I must say it was an incredible journey. Over the course of 9 weeks, I delved into the realms of JavaScript, Ruby, Rails, and HTML, and the experience was nothing short of amazing.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the boot camp was the caliber of the teachers. They were not only experts in their respective fields but also incredibly passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping students succeed. Their guidance and support were instrumental in my learning journey, and I am immensely grateful for their dedication.
The hands-on nature of the curriculum allowed me to apply what I learned in real-world scenarios, solidifying my understanding and boosting my confidence as a developer. From building simple web applications to more complex projects, every step of the way was both challenging and immensely rewarding.
One of the highlights of the boot camp was the final project. Working in teams, we had the opportunity to bring our ideas to life, leveraging the skills and knowledge we had acquired throughout the program. The sense of accomplishment upon completing our project was truly exhilarating and served as a testament to the effectiveness of the curriculum.
Overall, my experience with Le Wagon was nothing short of transformative. Not only did I acquire valuable technical skills, but I also developed problem-solving abilities and gained invaluable insights into the world of web development. If you're considering a career in tech or simply looking to expand your skill set, I wholeheartedly recommend Le Wagon. It's an investment that will pay dividends for years to come.

Thank you, Le Wagon, for an amazing journey!

Talk about, No regrets. The best decision I made in 2023 was Joining Le Wagon

My time at Le Wagon bootcamp was short, It was almost three months but what I have learnt to me seem like I was doing a full masters. It was intensive , but doable. I now look at me and all the new knowledge I have gained.
I am excited at new challenges I can tackle with the new earned  knowledge.

My journey through the Le Wagon Full-Stack Web-Developer Bootcamp was truly transformative, thanks in large part to the collaborative group structure. Working closely with peers to tackle daily challenges created a supportive environment that encouraged me to push my boundaries.

Reflecting on the experience, I'm extremely proud with how far myself and my group have come. While the bootcamp had its share of highs and lows, completing it fills me with immense pride. I often thought of it as the Navy Seals' 'Hell Week,' as it truly pushed me, while being intensive and demanding, stretching my abilities in ways I hadn't imagined.

But this would have not been possible if it was not for the guidance of the teachers and the camaraderie of my fellow students throughout the program and I am deeply grateful for that. Their unwavering support was instrumental in navigating the challenges we faced together.

In conclusion, the 'Bootcamp on Steroids' has equipped me with invaluable skills and a profound sense of accomplishment. It was a challenging yet immensely rewarding journey, one that I will carry with me as I continue to grow and thrive in my career.

Teachers are good or excellent, most of the time they made me excited to learn the subject.  Curriculum consists of python, jupyter notebook , maths (statistics), exploratory data analysis, scikit learn, keras, working with google cloud services, and a two - week coursework. As for job assistance, there is a week of lectures and workshops to prepare for job search (including CV writing).   An advisor is available to help with job search.

I did the data analysis bootcamp online.
The Bootcamp is structured in a way that you learn the skills and the business reason for the data you will be analysing.
It give you all the tools to succeed and the general view of how it should be in the most different types of organizations.
It is nice that I had the opportunity to compared that with all my previous work experiences where I felt like with a little bit more knowledge my impact would be huge, I feel that will be the case now wherever I work.
I honestly recommend for people that had that feeling before. I am someone that love to give it all on what I am working on and you get what you invest on this course.
But be prepared for moments of mild confusion and frustration with yourself, don't worry about that, by the end of the course you will see that you can do SO MUCH more.

I did not what to expect. I only followed the teachers advice to trust the process. I am still trying to wrap my head around how they guided us so smoothly from 0 to 100. I feel so confident with data now and it all happened within 2 months. Keep up the good job Le Wagon!

I was incredibly indecisive of whether to really sign up to a bootcamp or just complete some online courses and call it a day.
But, I went in nevertheless. Quite unsure of what the teaching and my learning experience was gonna be like. It was coin flip for me. 50/50.
And having successfully completing the bootcamp, I am super proud I made the decision on signing up. The camp is a total package, especially for beginners. Gave me a community.
