I recently completed a Data Analytics bootcamp that exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, the experience was intense, rewarding, and incredibly transformative. The curriculum was well-structured, covering a broad spectrum of technologies and programming languages. Each module  ensured a deep understanding of both the theoretical concepts and practical applications.

The instructors were knowledgeable and passionate, always willing to provide extra support and guidance. Their real-world experience was evident, and their teaching style made complex topics accessible and engaging. The peer collaboration was another highlight; working alongside a diverse group of motivated individuals fostered a dynamic learning environment. We tackled challenging projects and assignments, which not only honed our analytical skills but also encouraged creative problem-solving and teamwork.

I highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking to make a significant career transition into the data industry.

This course was extremely well structured, the learning material was well explained and detailed with a mix of lectures and self exploration of the course work. I enjoyed that you learnt through doing the challenges in addition to the provided material as I think this is the best way to learn. The teaching assistants were top class and extremely good at problem solving. The final task is put together a data science project which is very representative of real world work situations.

I know that a lot of people put down bootcamps as a waste of money and that everything is available online for free. That may be the case, but for me I needed structure and I am happy to report that the bootcamp is structured in a very systematic way to bring you from one level of understanding to the next in a well thought out and organized manner. The TAs that I interacted with were all very knowledgeable and helpful. I did the part time version of the bootcamp over 6 months and I am glad that I took this option, because the pace was just what I could handle. Le Wagon has done a good job at giving me the foundation that I needed to now progress on my own and develop my knowledge and skill set. There is also a thriving active community of Alumni that are there to guide you and help. If you need structure to learn then this could be for you.

The bootcamp I attended was an incredibly challenging and enriching experience that significantly contributed to my growth in the field of data analytics. From the outset, the curriculum was designed to push us beyond our comfort zones, ensuring that we developed a deep understanding of data analysis, data visualization, and the various tools and techniques used in the industry today. One of the most rewarding aspects of the bootcamp was the hands-on approach to learning. We were constantly engaged in real-world projects that required us to apply the concepts we were learning in a practical context. This not only solidified our understanding but also provided us with a portfolio of work that we could showcase to potential employers. The instructors were knowledgeable and supportive, always available to answer questions and provide guidance. Their expertise and dedication played a crucial role in making the learning process both effective and enjoyable. Moreover, the bootcamp emphasized the importance of presenting data in a clear and understandable manner. We learned how to create compelling visualizations and tell stories with data, which is an essential skill in today's data-driven world. The focus on communication and presentation skills was particularly beneficial, as it prepared us to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders effectively. In addition to the rigorous academic content, the bootcamp also offered a vibrant community experience. We had numerous opportunities to collaborate with peers, participate in social activities, and network with industry professionals. These interactions enriched the overall experience and provided valuable connections that will be beneficial in our future careers. Finally, considering the depth and quality of the education provided, the bootcamp was offered at a very affordable price. It was a worthwhile investment that I believe will pay dividends in my professional journey. Overall, I highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking to enhance their data science skills and advance their career.

My experience at Le Wagon was very productive. The content provided is of great value for starting a career in data science. Despite being very intense due to the large amount of content in a short period, having indefinite access to the material helps us review and deepen our understanding after the course. The teachers are always very attentive and willing to help with whatever is needed. They teach you how to debug to find your mistakes, thus building a strong foundation for my journey.

Le Wagon is full of professionals with a well prepared curriculum and beginner friendly enviroment. All the TA's are great experienced professionals who know exactly what a beginner thinking process looks like. You can feel it from the beginning of the bootcamp that if you apply yourself and really want to learn how to code this is the right choice to make that leap. If you are a career switcher like myself this is definitely the place to start your journey , but also really good for people who want to add up to their education.

Le Wagon is a fantastic experience, getting the ability to learn hands on with real coding problems instead of just reading theory allows things to cement in your mind more, things seem slightly confusing at first until it all suddenly clicks and during the final weeks you learn how to put all the pieces together. The teachers are amazing, very kind and very helpful, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about any of them. The bootcamp was without a doubt one of the hardest things I have ever done, but it was definitely one of the best decisions I made. The structured curriculum along with the daily challenges related to the topic of the day really helped reinforce my learning. I had so much fun, and am sad that the bootcamp has come to an end! The community, instructors, and my batchmates made it such a great experience, and they really pushed me to keep going even when things became tough. It really does come down to how much you put into it, but without Le Wagon, I definitely wouldn't have grown so much both as a person, and as a developer! Thank you Le Wagon Tokyo, I really loved it! Without a doubt, I would do it again!

I signed up for the Part Time Data Science and AI bootcamp at Le Wagon London not really knowing what to expect. I'm happy to say they have cultivated a really friendly and support environment. I particularly enjoyed the final month where we pitched a project idea, built a product and then demoed it to the rest of the cohort. My Reason for joining:
I love solving problems and I have this belief that technology can help scale good impact. Although I was a business person with almost no code knowledge, I wanted to co-found a tech start-up for a social cause I was passionate about and it took me a year to dabble on no-code and fumble on my own. I tried looking for tech-co-founders and found strong and potential ones but even after reading multiple articles and watching videos, I realized that I couldn't seem to fully grasp their thinking, jargon, and their motivations, and although I have high respect for tech builders, I wasn't confident about how to work with them. After an initial eye-opening consultation about admissions, I decided to push and enroll.

    Pros:
    • Worth the time, energy, and money
      • Packed learning every session and while it felt like I had info overload several times, especially at the beginning, I felt all learnings coming to life during project weeks.
      • I felt I missed quite a lot during a month-long travel to a different country which was 2 months before project weeks would start. So before the project weeks, I reviewed lessons again, dropped one commitment (work), and had to focus on this study to fully maximize the experience. I don't think people need to drop work and this is extremely possible to balance with Full-time work especially if you don't have other hats too (I'm a mom of a 2-year-old.)
    • Very supportive community (Teachers, Teaching assistants, Large Local and Global Active Alumni network I can tap into.)
      • Psychologically safe place to ask for help when learning during and after boot camp
    • Creative energy is strong
      • Unlike traditional learning environments, the focus is not on "winning" but rather on helping each other while focusing on personal growth. It felt like it was designed that way.
      • I highly recommend watching a recording or attending a Demo Day. When I watched it in person before, I was impressed and I couldn't imagine myself being able to code a product but after a few months, I could and I did! (Of course, with the help of a team~)
    • Project Week when taken seriously as if building your own MVP is a very strong hands-on experience to coding and working with a tech team
      • I could have an idea of Product delivery and insights about how to go during stand-up meetings and tech project management, learn about possible pitfalls and what could motivate the team, and a good introduction or foundation of front-end, back-end, design-to-code knowledge.
      • Pitching was a good experience to refine my idea with Teachers and to know the motivation of tech builders in the future.
    • Possibility of being able to build my own MVP - I could and I am so grateful to my team for their patience and enthusiasm in building it with me.
      • There is a chance to work together on a first project before the final project! Since I could not be the project manager for that, I could have the chance to learn as a team member fully focused on coding! But I could also observe my feelings, thoughts, and how I work which eventually was super helpful with leading and gluing the team together during the Final Project.
    • There is a career week
      • I could hear about Startup founders hiring and connect with them too to gather insights.
      • Although the focus is on Job Hunting, there was a talk about start-ups and freelancing too. For founders, we could book a career consulting time to chat about Entrepreneurship.
    • They offer free courses! I took it a year before just to check. It is a great beginner's experience just to test the waters or see if my brain capacity can handle it. haha. But honestly, the boot camp will be deeper and way more comprehensive.

    Cons:
    • Might be difficult to balance time if you have many roles (Parenthood, Work, Business, Study) as you need to watch lectures ahead and are expected to do the challenges together during sessions.
    • However, the buddy system during sessions is extremely helpful. And, basically, balancing all these while learning hard and smart is a good test or practice for grit and persistence. :)
    • If part-time online, you may feel like you missed out if classmates hang out after class. So, I highly recommend going to campus if you can, especially on project weeks~!! And to fly and be in person on Project Demo Day!

Very good! I had a lot of fun. I had no other option but doing the part time online course, because I could not afford stopping working and I live too far away from a campus to do a live part time. So for me this was the best option. Even though it was online, I found friends which hopefully I will be able to keep in touch with. I wish I could have done it face to face, but again, it was not a possibility for me and I still enjoyed the course. The teachers were really good and helpful. I liked the challenges as well. My background is in Data Analytics, so I had some experience working with Data. But the Engineering part was new to me, and I learnt a lot. I also realize than more than the tools themselves I am able to understand the concepts and apply the logic to any work situation I am presented with. I could already see the difference while I was doing the bootcamp!

My bootcamp experience was incredible! I went in with minimal coding knowledge and came out feeling like a confident developer. The curriculum was comprehensive, covering everything from the basics to advanced topics. The teachers were knowledgeable and supportive, always there to help when I got stuck. The projects we worked on were challenging but rewarding. Plus, the sense of camaraderie among classmates made the experience even better. Overall, it was an intense journey, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking to kickstart their career in tech!

One of my favorite teachers, is super encouraging. Her explanations are easy to follow and she explains the lecture and the topics freely.
Teaching stuff enriches the  explanation with vast background knowledge.
Teachers show the fun they have doing ML or math or explaining  it.
Thank you  I learned a lot, but it is tough!

I think the answer to my question is a resounding yes. The course was completely worth it. It would've taken me a year or more to self-learn what we covered in 9 weeks. The teachers were not only knowledgeable, but they were also great mentors. They were able to point me in the right direction whenever I got stuck. I also got access to an amazing community. I feel confident that I will be able to transition into a tech role very soon with the knowledge I gained at the boot camp. If you're a Japanese resident, I highly suggest looking into the Hello Work subsidy because it'll cover more than 60% of the tuition and is available to anyone who qualifies.

My experience at Le Wagon's web development bootcamp was nothing short of transformative. From day one, I was immersed in an intensive learning environment that was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The curriculum, meticulously designed to cover both the fundamentals and advanced concepts of Ruby on Rails and web development, ensured a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

The instructors at Le Wagon are not only experts in their field but also genuinely passionate about teaching and supporting each student's journey. Their guidance was instrumental in overcoming challenges and fostering a deep love for coding.

In conclusion, my time at Le Wagon was more than just an educational experience; it was a journey of personal and professional growth. The skills, knowledge, and connections I've gained have opened doors to new opportunities and have equipped me to confidently pursue a career in tech. I highly recommend Le Wagon to anyone looking to break into web development or enhance their skills in this dynamic field.
