Le Wagon is a global tech and AI training provider offering full-time and part-time training programs in AI Software, Data Science, Data Analytics, and more. Founded in 2013 in Paris, Le Wagon now operates in 27 cities across more than 20 countries, as well as online. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect the latest industry trends, and the hands-on approach ensures that students are well-equipped to succeed in the tech world, accelerate their careers, transition into tech, or launch their own startups.

AI Software and Data Analytics Bootcamp applicants do not need any previous technical experience, but should be motivated, curious, and social. Le Wagon’s programs are open to beginners, though some tracks – like Data Science – require basic knowledge of programming and math. Data Engineering bootcamp applicants should have professional experience in data or a technical degree. According to Le Wagon, alumni include numerous entrepreneurs who have established over 200 tech startups and raised more than $1 billion globally.

Students are supported by a recognized teaching method and a student-centric approach. Students at Le Wagon have access to comprehensive career services, such as 1:1 coaching, tech talks, and assistance with job materials and GitHub.

Le Wagon partners with higher education institutions such as HEC Paris, IAE Business School in Argentina, or King's College London. Le Wagon for Business also helps enterprises, such as IKEA, Total, LVMH, or Société Générale, solve their tech talent gap by training and building in-house tech and data teams.

Le Wagon offers various scholarships and financing options, such as installment plans, Income Share Agreements, public funding, and more.

Before I joined Le Wagon I studied economics and was working as an economic researcher, doing mostly qualitative stuff and a bit of Excel. I was unhappy with the low level of data analysis I was doing (and the lacking experience to dig deeper)....

Alicia Cesa Bianchi of Le Wagon

    City Manager - Zürich

    Jul 07, 2022

    Dear Ni,

We are very sorry at Le Wagon Zurich that your experience during the bootcamp did not meet your expectations. As we have discussed several times, this was the first in-person bootcamp we offered in Zurich and of course there were many unknowns. Nevertheless, all other students were still satisfied with their  learning experience and provided an NPS score of 7 or higher.

I would like to respond to a few of the point you have made:

    1. As you correctly mentioned we did book 2 rooms to ensure that students would have more space throughout the day to work and learn comfortably. Both rooms were equipped with tables and office chairs also to ensure the comfort of the students. Students could also work from the co-working space.

    2. There are foundational concepts in software engineering and web development that do not really change over time. Hence, when teaching concepts using material from 2014 or earlier is not a problem. I can reassure you that at Le Wagon we have an engineering team that revamps about 10% of the material every 3 months to keep up with changes in technologies.

    3. All our teachers are extremely dedicated and care about the progress of all students. We are sorry you felt this way and try our best in order to give the best education possible to all students.

    4. All important information was shared during the presentation of Day 1. But you are right that there was some miscommunication for the career week, which is optional, and we will ensure to do a better job for the future batches!

We take your feedback seriously and hope we will only continue to improve and make sure that all our students at Le Wagon Zurich have the best learning experience possible.

We wish you all the best with your internship at SIX and that despite the difficulties, we hope you have learned the skills you needed to kickstart your career in tech!

We also certainly hope you will continue to come to all the events offered by Le Wagon Zurich and be part of the 15,000 alumni of Le Wagon worldwide!
