the course has 36 students or more, they told me it would be like 15 or so in the beginning..
the teachers are extremely inexperienced and not prepared... friendly but not helpful. They are pretty much graduates from this course who turn to... teacher... HOW??

not recommended!! The good rating and school marketing is quite misleading, as it's not fit for beginners neither it is a solid education that qualifies to find a job directly afterwards. For me it was a waste of money and overwhelming experience, huge amount of informations in short time, we did not have enough time to practice or digest what we were learning. Homework weren't corrected individually.
The instructor wasn't qualified to teach and the TAs weren't good enough as they wer...not recommended!! Worst bootcamp provider
I had a terrible experience. I was sold the image by what I saw online and the placement rates are totally fake. The bootcamp does a good job at keeping students happy by giving them swags, having ironbeers on fridays and a good graduation ceremony. But does a terrible job in educating us. The content taught is more or less obsolete and not enough to land a good tech job. The ones that have landed have had to work hard for months after graduating and also had prior experience. Waste of money
The whole content is something I could have learnt myself online. The teacher was amazing but the company overall lacked communication and over sold the bootcamp. The reviews on GitHub are fast, you can apply to jobs with a horrible GitHub and not know it, you leave without knowing how to make a good GitHub.
Personally I complained and they ignored me and now that I have a job they write to me to use me as an example and publicity, many people who come out as an example of success in Ironhack did not get help from Ironhack. A bit dissapointing
Cuando te inscribes en un bootcamp de 7000 € evidentemente lo haces con la expectativa de encontrar un trabajo bien remunerado y en poco tiempo. Eso es lo que prometen estos bootcamps y eso es lo que a fin de cuentas les permite justificar esas cifras tan elevadas. Desafortunadamente esto ya no es así. Los alumnos graduados en epoca covid tardan meses en encontrar trabajo ahora, y sin embargo el precio del bootcamp es el mismo. Cuando te apuntas al bootcamp desde Ironhack te dicen que el 80% de los alumnos encuentran trabajo en 3 meses, lamentablemente esto es mentira. La famosa Hiring Week, que es la última semana del bootcamp en la cual vienen empresas a fichar alumnos recién salidos simplemente no existe. Te dan cuatro charlas por zoom y te dicen que te hagas linkedin, ya está. No hay ningún tipo de contacto con ninguna empresa, cero. Las personas que se encargan de ayudar a los alumnos a encontrar trabajo hacen lo que pueden pero por lo visto no conocen muy bien los conocimientos que tienen los alumnos ya que de las poquísimas ofertas que comparten con nosotros algunas piden PHP, SQL, tecnologías que no se enseñan en el bootcamp. El bootcamp es lo que es, un negocio para los fundadores. Still looking for a job
If you are going to pay for this course with your savings I recommend you not to do it!!! If it is paid by Job-center totally recommended (So try to get job centers to help to pay it.)
Reasons why the price is too high for what they offer:
- One reason is what Ironhack promises they don't deliver.
- Ironhack just teaches you the very basics. If you are applying for a job you might encounter a Test where you...If you are going to pay for this course with your savings I recommend you not to do it!!! If it is paid by Job-center totally recommended (So try to get job centers to help to pay it.)
Reasons why the price is too high for what they offer:
- One reason is what Ironhack promises they don't deliver.
- Ironhack just teaches you the very basics. If you are applying for a job you might encounter a Test where you don't know what to do because Web Development is such a wide area that you will find a lot of stuff that of course, you will not cover in the course.
Things that they don't teach you and are very important in the industry are for example SQL, GraphQL, React Hooks, Redux and Typescript.
- Fast Track Interviews (FTI) are not reliable. I have gotten some matches but with unprofessional companies and some not even a Web Developer position. (and of course, most of the companies don't even answer). So don't rely on them for looking for a job because I am already since 6 months without a job applying like crazy everywhere.
- Nevertheless are still people in my batch that found jobs, some by contacts and some (like 3 and we were 15) in a hard way, some did already had jobs and stayed in their position. The ones that found a job in a hard way were by opportunities (that they mentioned as luck) but luck is also an important factor to find a job. But of course, after paying that amount of money by yourself you feel left alone.
- Ironhack does offer workshops for Redux and Typescript but again they cost you extra money (approx 215€).
- The teachers were very good and amazing the only reason I had fun programming and started this journey.

Lack of focus / Lack of control
Sorry for this long paragraph, you can jump to the conclusions :)
I enrolled Ironhack trying to change my careerpath, from business related job positions to data analytics.
First of all, when we started the students were really enthusiastic about this course even though we knew that the experience would be really intense, in terms of learning.
We started the first day and our teacher didn't know how to teach, he had really good background but we ended up being more confused...Sorry for this long paragraph, you can jump to the conclusions :)
I enrolled Ironhack trying to change my careerpath, from business related job positions to data analytics.
First of all, when we started the students were really enthusiastic about this course even though we knew that the experience would be really intense, in terms of learning.
We started the first day and our teacher didn't know how to teach, he had really good background but we ended up being more confused than how we started (having done pre-work). Then we started complaining about the teaching quality and all they tell us is, yes, please give us more feedback.
(The course is 9 weeks) During the first 3 or 4 weeks of full python learning, we learn a lot, but thanks to youtube tutorials, which leads us to spending 3-4 more hours on average than the other data analytics to complete the assignment. During the 5th-6th week we start with Statistics, and we don't understand a thing. and then 7th-8th week it's Machine Learning, magic happens here and in the classroom something breaks (some electrical supply) and we cannot use the projector, we ping administration saying hey, we have a problem, please check, don't do it the last week (we have to do a final project and we need to be really focused). At some point the General Manager of Ironhack Barcelona, Adrià Baqués, he came to our class to listen to our complains and he basically told us that professors are like Unicorns , it's really difficult to find a good professor, so we were really happy (irony) with his intervention (which was late (but hey, better late than never)) which set us even in sadder mood.
TAs in my opinion, they were good, not outstanding, they were trying to have fun all the time when we were struggling, but I also understand that's because the teaching quality was not the best.
Environment and team spirit (Ironbeers), good but I think I prefer a little worse environment and better teaching quality.
My conclusion about Data Analytics course in Ironhack, I think they are confused about what a data analyst does (even though they try to stress hardly the differences between Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Data Engineer), data analysts don't need a full week on Machine Learning (but I guess it's because Machine Learning seems attractive and trendy). We even weren't taught how to interpret charts or how it's better to conduct an analysis, which should be a must for any data analyst course, also SQL, we did only 1 day in SQL and in every data analyst position we are asked for SQL knowledge. Vale, Covid. Pero no hacía falta despreocuparse de esa forma de los alumnos que habíamos pagado por clases presenciales y obtuvimos un bootcamp descafeinado, en remoto y con un soporte 0 para la posterior búsqueda de empleo.
El primer día te plantean el curso como algo que hay que currarse, spoiler: ...Cómo lo que en el papel y por opiniones de colegas que habían hecho el de Web apuntaba como una de las mejores experiencias para cambiar de sector acabo siendo un despropósito.

El primer día te plantean el curso como algo que hay que currarse, spoiler: MENTIRA, que si no entregas las prácticas, llegas tarde, blabla,...no te gradúas, nada. Que habrá Hiring Fair dónde hablaríamos con empresas y tendríamos las primeras entrevistas, spoiler: MENTIRA.
Durante todo el curso nos cambiaron 3 veces de profesor. Al último, lo soltaron en clase sin darle a penas explicaciones de cómo funcionaba, por dónde íbamos, qué incluía el currículum....Bien, Ironhack, bien. Llega una pandemia a nivel mundial y mientras todas las empresas TEC ya estaban diciendo que teletrabajo, ellos seguían empeñados en clase, con las supuestas faltas de asistencia que podían hacer que no te graduaras si querías quedarte en casa. Soluciones temporales para los primeros 15 días, esto lo entiendo, nadie sabía qué iba a durar tanto.... Pero no sé, ve entrando a preguntar cómo vamos, si hubiese aumentado un poquito el interés por la institución para ver si nos adaptábamos bien o no a las nuevas herramientas otro gallo cantaría. Total, comunicación 0 su parte. Tuvimos que pedir que se nos informara de cómo iban las cosas. Y aquí entramos en una especie de proceso de negociación en que conseguimos algunos workshops y que nos dejaran repetir algunas clases a modo de compensación.
Se acaba el bootcamp. Llega el momento de la famosa Carreer Week que acaban siendo algunas charlas a través de Zoom. Como no se puede hacer Hiring Fair nos proponen una especie de Tinder donde las empresas podrían hacer match con nuestros perfiles y nos aseguraban un mínimo de 3 entrevistas. De mi promoción cada uno hemos hecho un total de 0 entrevistas. Casi 6 meses después de graduarnos.

Not as amazing as promised
Despite the promises they made you before starting... the bootcamp does not fulfill the expectations. The level is so low and the lessons are not up to date. They had good hiring numbers because there were a lot of job offers, but the level you get when finishing is not good at all.
