Great Experience, Learned a lot, An Institute that really cares for its students

As long as you commit yourself, you'll learn SO so much. - Great environment. - Courses are organized and well structured and mentors wow. They are eager to help students. - You will have one mentoring session every week, average 45 mins each. If that's not enough you can always write mentor and they are always ready to help and of course, very active facebook workplace group where you can post your problem and discuss with other students. - You'll leave with some cool projects to add to your portfolio. - Let' be real, 300 EUR/month is very reasonable compared to other institutions (it's worth it) I really recommend Openclassrooms if you really wanna learn good and make a career. Thanks

Good for career shifters with a little background in programming. You need to rely on yourself and do self-studies most of the time throughout the course because it is hard to connect with instructors online. Adequate coding knowledge and logical thinking are required when doing self-studies to answer the activities. Overall, the experience was great with collaboration with the class compared to self-paced online courses.

    Retaliatory Expulsion

I had little to no problem with the Guild despite the lead instructor consistently showing up 20 minutes late to class. All was fine and dandy, even though the week before we were going to start working on capstones most people were several labs behind schedule, I couldn't know if it was a reflection of the Guild, or the difficulty of the course. Then comes the 2nd time I go to study hall, a week ago today. I am immediately asked if I needed help by the same instructor that failed to help me last time, so I thought maybe he might actually want to help me this time. The last time he was clearly looking and typing in another screen before I left saying I would figure it out on my own. This time he feigned interested and threw a couple generic solutions to the problem at hand, but they actually made my situation more complicated, still with no sincere interest to help. So I left, and unwisely posted in their Study Hall that I had only gone twice, and got no help. This was apparently grounds for expulsion and I was expelled by the Director by the next day. This is sick how they would just discard a disabled veteran who dropped out of college to use this VA funded program to get a job to support my now 4-month old and wife that has just returned to hybrid work. It's good that I can spend more time with him, but this is a sick practice that must stop! Reported to VA, but of course that will take it's time to get down the pipe. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, just not always helpful, and if you join this program, keep your head down and mouth shut and learn from my mistake.

    Web Dev (Fullstack Intensive)

Wcoding is an excellent introduction to the tech-world. Originally a marketer, I wanted to change my career and learn new skills in the wake of the Covid19. Being a total computer-illiterate, I joined the Fullstack Intensive course after a positive impression by Kyle and Judy. Even though the courses were not cheap, it is still much affordable than most tech bootcamps in the US or Europe. As I am now landing an internship in an AI company, I can say the curriculum was well-done and useful. It provides good fundamentals in Front and Back-end as well as the skills in demand on the job market. All the workers (from the founders to teachers and interns) are nice, friendly and helpful. I wish to thank them for that. Big thumbs up for the Job Support also. The school provides a custom-made assistance for the students, sharing with them internships/job opportunities and counselling regarding their visa status. On the other hand, it is called intensive for a reason: do not even think of joining if you are not committed. Keep in mind learning new skills and finding a job is a very taxing process. Especially if you have zero scientific/technical background. As far as I am concerned, it was a very stressful experience. If that's the case, be kind to yourself. Work on your portfolio, stick around and look for internships. To conclude, Wcoding will give you the tools, the guideline and the proper environment to start a career in the Tech Industry. Nonetheless, you will need a lot of time and even more practice to land the job of your dreams at Google. It is hard, but it is doable. Now go coding. Pros: - Teaches useful coding languages and essential coding skills (much more effective than self-studying) - Great team: teachers and developers will always make time to listen to you and help you work on your projects. - Our main teacher Marie was professional and encouraging with a non non-sense attitude. - You learn by doing. - Sets you on track for the job market. - Able to network with other developers. - The school never gives up on you as long as you don't give up on yourself. Suggestions: -How about a slightly longer learning period ? -Create programs based on each student's level (beginner, faux-beginner, experienced and so on...) -Hire more teachers -More counselling about personal development for each student.

The topics covered in the boot-camp were an introduction to languages and libraries, all appropriate for the topic. When material was inaccessible, they provided material to fill the gap while maintenance was completed. Instructors were focused and responded to queries in a timely manner. Playwright UI Testing Mastery

Hi! I chose the Playwright UI Testing Mastery program because of one feature that caught my attention: the code reviews. I had never seen another online course offering such a hands-on approach, where you not only complete assignments but also receive detailed feedback on your work. After joining the program, I can confidently say that this has been its most valuable aspect. The reviews, recommendations and insights have made this learning experience the most effective and engaging I've ever had. The course itself is well organized and easy to follow. It gradually builds from the fundamentals to more advanced concepts and best practices, making each new topic feel like a natural progression. The video lessons are complemented by high-quality quizzes that reinforce the material and encourage you to think critically rather than simply memorize concepts. What truly sets the program apart is the practical experience. The assignments are carefully designed to reflect real-world scenarios, and the detailed feedback on your solutions helps you develop the habits and mindset needed for professional test automation. Last but not least, Artem is an excellent mentor who genuinely cares about his students' progress. His explanations are clear, his feedback is thoughtful, and it's obvious that he is passionate about what he does and genuinely wants his students to succeed! I would highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn Playwright properly, whether they are new to test automation or looking to strengthen their existing skills. I'm very happy that I found Bondar Academy because it truly makes the most of online learning, combining high-quality content, hands-on practice, and personal mentorship in a way that is hard to find elsewhere. Thank you so much Artem!

Best decision for Full Stack Development in Germany

In this course, you will learn much more than just coding in JavaScript for both the frontend and the backend, covering browser and server development (see curriculum). You will learn how it’s like working together with your classmates in your cohort and all that in an environment (technical and social), that is used by professionals in daily production. The hierarchy is incredible flat and you can talk to Armagan Amcalar and Di Long Lu just like you would with your friends. The difference is that they are seasoned professionals who also run their own tech companies. I mean Armagan is outstanding by himself but you will also have the chance to talk through your graduation project with Alessandro Sabatelli (each of you, half an hour, and that’s a lot), who runs a tech-company in New York and San Francisco (he might mention to you, in a side note, that his agency was the creator of the design for the YouTube App on the Apple iPad). Together with your cohort, you will have a session with him, after everybody has found their idea for their graduation project and built their wireframe. It’s super useful, even if you can listen to the thoughts and advice of Alessandro to all your classmates projects. You will learn a lot and gain valuable insights into the tech world with De Long Lu (our main teacher), who also shares interesting stories. The graduation project includes pair programming sessions. There is hardly a better way to start a coder's career than with Coyotiv. Additionally, the course being conducted in English will open up new opportunities for working in multinational teams, where English is often the primary language. Choosing to take this course was a wise decision, not only for the technical skills you'll acquire but also for the ability to continue learning. After all, the journey of learning never truly ends.

    Bespoke Schooling

So far, the hardest part of this education program are the issues I brought with me as a student. By that, I mean that this curriculum is as hands off or mentor intensive as you wish it to be and this level of freedom persists throughout most of the layers of the program. So, the only issues that I've had with this curriculum are my own bad habits; I get to work on those while I learn coding. A true growing experience. The curriculum isn't perfect, but it is relaxed enough to allow for dynamic solutions to these imperfections. Above all, the amount of, "understanding," I experience is very encouraging. Roadblocks that prevent me from attending regular schooling are met with a, "I understand and appreciate your disabilities; we'll get through this together," mentality. If you put in the work, they'll work with you. I have no doubt in my mind that CodeX genuinely wants to see me, as an individual, become a successful programmer.

A bootcamp can't teach you everything (you CAN'T know everything- even senior level developers don't!) but I will say that this program teaches you how TO BE a software developer. It's not about memorizing syntax or skimming through the lessons as fast as you can. The assignments and final projects are challenging and you have to utilize all the resources you can to be successful. The workshops are awesome, the instructors are top-notch and the mentors make such a difference in your learning. After completing the program, it's just the beginning of your coding journey! There are plenty of success stories of graduates being hired in the industry (myself included). I continue to learn more everyday thanks to Woz U.

    Highly Recommend

PunchCode was an overall great experience. Mario was an awesome program manger and you can tell that he genuinely cares about his students and their success. He has helped me tremendously in finding work after graduating, which I will always be grateful for. While the instructors will teach you all the technical skills, Mario will teach you life skills and how to be successful in the real world. He has excellent leadership skills and sure knows how to run a good program. The instructor, Thomas, is nothing short of amazing. Not only is he a wizard when it comes to programming, but he actually knows how to teach it as well. Before PunchCode I took some online courses and watched a lot of YouTube tutorials, but nothing compared to the way Thomas teaches. I was extremely impressed with his ability to simplify such complex topics and make it easy for complete beginners to understand. He excels in his ability to read and understand each student's code (and trust me there was some very messy code written by us). He can jump inside the mind of each student and fully understand their thought process, which allows him to explain things to them in the best way. I don't know how he does it, but he was always able to answer every single question that we had for him in such an easy to understand way. My coding skills are light years ahead of where they were before I started PunchCode, and I can attribute all of that to Thomas. Don't let me forget about the assistant instructor, Teya. Teya is such a fun and amazing person, and she really cares about all of her students. She goes out of her way to personally connect with each student, making everyone feel very welcome. PunchCode has a very intense and high-paced curriculum which can be very stressful and affect your mental health. But Teya was always there for us to pick us back up and bring out the best in us. She was there for us when whenever we had any coding-related questions too, and it was aways nice to get a different perspective on how to do things. Her organizational skills are also top-notch. She made sure to always keep us updated with everything we needed to know, and it was because of her that such an intense course was able to run so smoothly. I feel like everything would've been so chaotic without her. When we graduated, she made us a very well thought out and thorough Notion doc with every resource that we needed to be successful after PunchCode. I would highly recommend PunchCode to anyone wanting to level up their coding skills and break into the industry. At first I was on the fence as to whether I should attend a bootcamp or just try to learn everything by myself online, but I can tell you that it was 100% worth it choosing PunchCode.
