Read MoreI loved my experience at the Jump. I found that everyone at the Jump was incredibly supportive and had a lot of time for me. It felt that they were passionate about what they do, they enjoy it and want to help people find the same thing. My cohort was small (5 people) and full-time.
The course was challenging but incredibly rewarding and enjoyable. It felt like you didn’t know anything until you moved on to the next thing where you realised you did actually know the previous thing quite well. My tutor, Russell, was fantastic and always there to answer questions whether detailed or conceptual, about code or the industry. I was surprised that within a short period of time I felt I had the confidence to speak like a developer, I was surprised at the transition.
Once the course finished we had some really great advice from Rob that helped us understand what people hiring are looking for, how they think, and how to prepare and present ourselves at each stage. This process was individualised and incredibly useful for this first job and no-doubt throughout the rest of my career. Within a couple months I had a multiple job offers and am excited for my first role in the tech industry to start next week. I definitely couldn’t have got the job I ended up with without the Jump.

Read MoreAs someone who wanted to make a 180 degree career change and quickly develop marketable coding skills without breaking the bank, Parsity was the perfect bootcamp for me. From a top level perspective, it checked off a lot of the boxes I was looking for: fully remote learning environment with the flexibility to work at my own pace (and either full-time or part-time), continual mentorship and support from the staff both during and after the program, and insanely good value when comparing their price to the average cost of a coding bootcamp.... Read Less
The curriculum was very well structured with a natural progression of concepts. The first half focused on the Front End - We started with a review of JavaScript fundamentals and CSS/HTML before moving on to DOM manipulation, working with APIs, and then diving into the React framework. In the second half of the course, we transitioned to the Back End, learning how to build our own web servers and databases with Node, Express and MongoDB before putting everything together and developing Full Stack applications. At the end of each week, we were assigned a mini-project that covered what we had just learned. These were very challenging, but always engaging and I really felt like I was building something practical while working on them.
Despite the bootcamp being fully remote, I still had great opportunities to collaborate with other students. In the middle of the course, we had a week-long paired programming hackathon, and towards the end, the entire cohort worked together on a group project simulating an Agile-style sprint in which we were tasked to develop a functioning Full Stack application in 2 weeks. I'd say this experience along with our independent final project was probably where I learned and grew the most. Everything really came together here: putting all the coding skills I'd been honing to use, working/communicating in a group setting (and dealing with the unique challenges this can present), planning out design and structure at a larger scale, using Git flow effectively, and presenting an app as if demoing to a client. These projects were easily my favorite part of the program.
On top of that, I received a ton of support from Parsity in the job search after graduating. First of all, we had dedicated time spent solely on career development, including refining our resumes and LinkedIn profiles, writing effective cover letters, networking, and preparing for the interview process. I also had access to a fantastic Career Services Coach that met with me frequently and was always available when I reached out. I got a ton of helpful advice that was tailored to my own particular job search, as well as mock interviews structured for the specific companies I was focused on. The assistance I received after graduating was invaluable, and ultimately played a huge role in me landing my first developer job.
All in all, if you're interested in programming and want to shift your career trajectory, I highly recommend Parsity. I never would have believed a year ago that I could learn so much in such a short timeframe and actually get hired as a programmer. But it's true - coding bootcamps are a totally viable pathway and Parsity is a great one with great value. Enrolling was one of the best decisions I've ever made.- 30Reviews1CourseUNH Coding Boot Camp is a part-time, 24-week courses in web development. Read MoreI joined this online coding bootcamp in June, 2022. My overall experience with this bootcamp has been amazing! I'm going to give a brief detail of each question that you may have.
You may feel unsure about a few things as I have listed below:- I don't know if this is what I want?
- I don't know if this is going to be worth my time?
My advice for you here- You can always say coding is not for you, but Give yourself some time to learn a skill, to get to know a new skill first!- I don't know if I am going to get help if I get stuck with my assignments?
Besides, my teacher and the TA. I used tutoring sessions regularly, meaning- my coding bootcamp was part-time, so I was allowed to book a tutoring session with a tutor 1/week. I noticed that some students were not happy with their tutor, but I was lucky because I found a great tutor working with me through my coding bootcamp journey.
The solution I'm going to share with you here- you can also request for a different tutor, but once you find one that you'd like to work with, you should make sure to bookmark their personal Calendly, so you can book a session with them!- I don't know who can answer my struggles and concerns or can provide me with any possible support in the bootcamp?
My advice for you here- get to know your SSM, they are here for you, they won't know you need them if you don't reach out to them. They are on Slack every day except weekend, I didn't wait till last minute to reach for support, contact them as soon as you notice you need support, and you can actually start getting support in your bootcamp!- I don't know if I am going to get a career coach to work with me to be more employee-ready?
4 things you need prior to get a one-one-one coach session:- Resume + Cover Letter
- LinkedIn Portfolio
- Profession Website

My advice for you here- taking time to complete what you can first and keep building your stuff in a professional way with their useful tips. - 29Reviews4CoursesSuncoast Developers Guild Academy offers a 3-month, full-time, full stack web development bootcamp, along with 6-week part-time courses in web development ba... The academy is tough. I commuted to school every day which made the long hours even longer. But it was worth it. Mark was my instructor and he was amazing. He could take all the technical jargon and turn it into English and then break down all the steps and pieces for us. The projects start off easy and get harder the further along you get in the course. By the end of the course, you can deploy an app or website from scratch. The academic part of the academy really pushed me out of my comfort zone and I am so grateful. After my graduation the pandemic caused the world to go into shutdown but I was able to take on freelance projects successfully because of the skills I learned from SDG.
There is also a soft skills/career prep section in this academy. I came into this with a lot of soft skills so that information wasn't new to me but I could see how valuable it was to some of the younger dev students that haven't had as much work experience.
The career prep is focused on this industry and for the Tampa area. That was so valuable to me. I haven't been in the area long so I didn't have a network for the job search. Well with SDG you get to use their network and they have made great connections all over The Greater Tampa Bay. This network was key in helping me find my job.
During the career prep, they help you with your resume, LinkedIn, interview prep both the conversational part and the technical interview.
You get tons of help and support after graduation in finding a job. I was amazed at how SDG lived up to its promise to help you in this area.
I'm now working for my dream company doing my dream job. I am still pinching myself how everything worked out. I'm not going to lie it is hard but it is worth it because it is life-changing. Command Shift

Initially, I assumed that this would be like traditional classroom learning, with PPTs and all, but I was wrong. We gained experience through doing. It was a two-month training session. We learned about Java and Git for the first two weeks by performing little coding assignments.
Following that, Bootcamp projects began, with a project every week in which the prograd mentors acted as real clients for us and gave us the criteria. Prograd mentors were always available to inspire us and answer our difficulties throughout the process.
In addition to this, every week there were organized tech-talks and Pecha Kucha. We trainees were given presentations on any technical topic during tech-talks. In Pecha Kucha, we discussed various societal issues that exist in India. This discourse gave me a lot of confidence in my ability to speak. They also took weekly soft skill training, which helped me enhance my communication and personality.
Based on my personal experience, I can confidently state that enrolling in this programme was the best decision I ever made, and I am grateful to Prograd for providing me with this opportunity.- 28Reviews7CoursesRice University Boot Camps offer a 12-week, full-time web development course, 24-week, part-time, web development, data analytics, cybersecurity, financial t... Read MoreI'm an ex-military cop with no prior coding experience that decided to get into the financial technology industry after studying economics at a prestigious university. I did a great deal of research on coding boot camps, going through reviews, Reddit posts, Youtube videos, and syllabus', before deciding to attend SMU's Fintech boot camp. Firstly, I was impressed by the program's syllabus, Financial programming with Python, Neural networks, Solidity smart contracts, and Dapp's building to name a few. I was very impressed by the teaching staff, they were very experienced, even in blockchain smart contracts.- Learning Process: I was in a small online class of 12 students all near the Dallas area so we were able to meet in person for group projects. Since the classes were so small the teacher and teacher's aid were able to help answer any questions we had and walk us through important concepts.
- The lessons are very detailed, guiding you through basic to more advanced programming concepts, and at the end of the lessons, you code an assignment that you can add to your GitHub Portfolio.
- We had a virtual class two times per week for 2hrs where the teacher would go over the material in the modules, then an optional study session with the TA once a week which, I highly recommend going to.
- The teacher was very well educated and did an excellent job at helping you understand every concept in the syllabus.
- Projects: The projects are probably my favorite aspect of the class. You decide with your group what project you want to work on and everyone contributes to the project's Github similar to how you would do it in the professional environment.
- If your group decided to make a Crytpo portfolio analyzer in the first project, in the following project you could build onto that and make an Algorithmic trading bot or whatever you want.
- Advice: My advice to people who want to get into coding or just want to learn Fintech, is to take this boot camp and put in what you want to get out, you won't regret it.
- The more you study/practice the better your coding skills will be, make a schedule with plenty of study time and stick to it.
- For studying, I found I learned best by working on the end of the lesson assignment as I learned the concepts, using Stackoverflow as needed, then using the optional TA study session to ask any questions I had; or fix errors I encountered in my code (which were many early on).
- Job Assistance: Of the career services I have used from other boot camps, this has been the best by far.
- At the end of the lessons, there is a career connection page that tells you how to add the new skills you learned to your resume, what jobs use these skills, questions jobs might ask based on what you just learned, and upcoming career events.
- There are tons of webinars that you get access to! Coding interview prep workshops, Google recruiting webinars, and way more. I highly recommend signing up for every webinar you are interested in, even while you are still going through the boot camp.
- A career material advisor gives you continuous feedback on your resume until you are satisfied with it, then you get paired with a career coach who, essentially coaches you through getting hired (technical interview questions, etc).
- OVERALL VERDICT: I went to school at a top-ranked university, and previously completed a Veteran Technology cybersecurity course, and I learned more in SMU's Fintech boot camp that actually applies to jobs than I did anywhere else. I would recommend this boot camp to anyone who is interested, if you have any questions feel free to reach out to me on Linkedin.
- Learning Process: I was in a small online class of 12 students all near the Dallas area so we were able to meet in person for group projects. Since the classes were so small the teacher and teacher's aid were able to help answer any questions we had and walk us through important concepts.

Read MoreAfter considering all the bootcamps in the Philippines in Q1 of 2021, what made me choose Uplift is what seemed to be their devotion to helping people learn how to code — and, well, 'uplifting' people through tech. Their 'why' of doing things stood out to me. It wasn't all about business and profit. Midway through the program, my hunch was proven correct.I barely knew anything about web development when I started (there's plenty to learn after only more than a year in tech!) and I didn't come from a science background, but I graduated (maybe overly) confident that I can do whatever app I want to make because of the exercises and projects we created. We were taught the basics. HTML, CSS, JS, React, Node. Also how to use other frameworks and a few helpful packages... These are things one can find online but to pivot to be a web developer or be in tech, in general, a supportive community is needed. So besides teaching the technical stuff, Uplift provided a safe and welcoming online space to actually allow learning.Going through this program wasn't easy. It was still intense! But learning was made fun and not like pulling teeth. I think it's easy to teach, but harder to foster spaces like the one they provide. We had seminars in design thinking, taking care of one's mental health, time management, writing a resume and representing yourself online via platforms and creating a portfolio, etc. We also had mock HR and technical interviews, which are always grueling, but we were guided and given feedback on how to improve ourselves.Uplift is really a community with the student/learner's interest in mind. I finished the program thinking I am/can be a 'good' developer and not just in the technical sense, but also in how tech is ultimately for people and to be a developer one has to always keep that in mind.
Also, the people behind this coding camp are respectful, competent, well-rounded individuals, so dealing with them is always a pleasure!... Read MoreSo Austin Coding Academy means a lot to me as they marked the beginning of me taking my coding education seriously. The support and community is amazing which really helped me stay motivated. I learned so much in such a short amount of time, and the connections I made helped me get my foot in the door with contract work and internships, then finally a salaried job. The tutoring is very generous and an amazing component of this school I didn't see being done elsewhere. The curriculum is also very dynamic, adjusting as the tech skill demands change, as well as to student and instructor feedback. There was job search help after I graduated to. At the beginning, I honestly had doubts, I didn't know how to face the course, everything online, a totally new field for me...at the beginning I felt a little lost. But without a doubt, as the days went by I really enjoyed all the sessions, I felt very supported and accompanied by the rest of my classmates.
Idoia was our instructor, she is a wonderful person, she makes everything fun, she explains every doubt as many times as necessary and she really manages to empower you.
She has really helped me in my professional career (now as a Data Analyst), she has helped me to be more resolute, to want to face new challenges and to fight more for a community of women in technology.
The AW community is amazing, they not only support you during the course but they also give you career advice, there are job meetings, they share with you new resources...

I hold a Computer Science degree but the coding I learned in college years ago did not stick. After researching bootcamps I felt that there was an opportunity to better learn coding and make a career move. This was such a great experience! I learned new skills and feel that I can take them to the workforce and succeed. I enjoyed the challenges and projects as I felt they gave me a real opportunity to showcase what I learned each module. I would tell any prospective students that this will be a challenge but if you commit to it and devote time to the course you will succeed in it.... Read More"Process over python" was a quote that the instructor Jeff reinforced throughout the course. Yes we learned the technical knowledge of python for building ETL pipelines from scratch, but Jigsaw also teaches you how to think like a programmer and approach problems using data engineering logic. You stop worrying about if you can solve something, and start breaking down a coding challenge piece by piece using the Jigsaw curriculum's methodology and principles that utilize python's incredible programming logic of data type transformations, functions, inheritance, etc. so you're prepared for any data engineering position. The course materials are 100% dedicated to data engineering, and Jeff is supported by incredible TAs that circulate rooms so that you're never stuck. Finally, the externship finishes off the immersive and the hands on experience was invaluable and tied everything together. The job support continues indefinitely beyond the course as well. Finally, my cohort was wonderful and we all learned as a team and I look forward to maintaining those genuine connections.

Read MoreI completed the 11 weeks full stack web development bootcamp at CodeOp, I attended it remotely. I expected the course to feel quite long, but the weeks flew by in no time. The lectures were very useful and mostly fun, there were plenty of daily exercises and "challenges" to solve to make sure we understood the material, the instructor and teaching assistants were amazing & always there to help if we had questions or got stuck, and we created a sense of community within my cohort. There were a few times were I felt like I didn't understand anything at all, that what I was learning was irrelevant or too complicated.. but honestly it all made sense once we started working on our own projects in the second half of the bootcamp. I am now working in the industry thanks to CodeOp's help with career assistance, so you can be sure "it works". I am grateful to have had this experience, it was exhausting and difficult at times (some light coding knowledge definitely needed so do your pre-course work), but it was also very rewarding and definitely worth the time, money & effort. I would recommend it to others with no doubt.... Read Less
