The teachers are very knowledgeable, approachable, kind and patient. The way the program is set up helps to reinforce the material we have learned; there is a lecture in the morning, coding challenges during the day, then a review/live code in the evening.
The staff also set up events and activities that help build friendships and teamwork. The campus is inviting and I felt right at home from day one.
At the end of the program there is a group project where you collaborate with up to 4 people to build a web app. The teachers help you along the way to produce a great product.
After the web app demo day, there is a career week. During this week, they help you set up your Linkedin page, write a cv and start to network with jobs during a career fair. With the Slack app, we stay in touch and get notifications on networking events.
One thing that I would like to see for this program is perhaps an internship where the students can continue to develop their skills and help them to find employment.
I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn to code in a structured way!
