BJoining Project Code was a transformative journey for me. When I started, my coding knowledge was minimal - I couldn't even reverse a string without Googling. By the end of the bootcamp, I was confidently designing full-scale systems and thinking like a true software engineer. The curriculum is expertly crafted to guide you step-by-step, starting with the basics of programming and gradually introducing advanced concepts like data structures and algorithms, scalable architectures, and software development best practices. The hands-on approach is what makes this program stand out. The advanced modules includes real-world projects that push you to apply what you’ve learned in practical ways, mimicking the challenges of a professional software engineering role. The instructors are very knowledgeable and are among the best. They foster an environment where questions are encouraged, and mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. The supportive peer community further enhances the learning experience, as collaboration is emphasized throughout the bootcamp.By the end of Project Code, I felt fully equipped to tackle complex coding problems and design robust systems. If you’re ready to move from the basics to professional-level skills, this bootcamp is an excellent choice. It’s more than a course—it’s a career-changing experience.Technigo

Says: From zero to hero
Last year this time my coding skills were near to zero and now I am starting a full time job as a developer. I am so happy I discovered Technigo and this courseLast year this time my coding skills were near to zero and now I am starting a full time job as a developer. I am so happy I discovered Technigo and this course put me in a place I see myself building my professional career and just becoming better and better within web development!
To start off, I really liked the format of the course and the positive vibes built around it. I liked how 'colorful and smiley' it was, it was important to me to get to a school that is not too numb, boring, traditional and 'old-school' as it's not for me. At the same time I feel like I learnt a looooot of serious and practical stuff with Technigo.
Some things I liked:
- course is clearly divided into weeks and sprints. Each week you work on one project which you can put to your portfolio. Each project focuses on one particular tech stuff but you're free to modify it as you wish. You have access to coaches via slack/stack overflow from Monday to Friday.
- professional set up. Access to the study platforms, useful links, being part of the community and having access to Slack.
- Technigo organises so many cool events for networking and just for having fun (last year they hosted Figma Config Stockholm party)
- Also, for students in Sweden, Technigo organises coffee meetings at different companies for networking. I think some of these events were online, so people from other locations could also join. That was really amazing to visit offices and talk with the members of the tech teams.
- Technigo offers a great Coaching Programme where we learn about LinkedIn, presentation techniques and how to get into the industry!
- Being in a small group with other classmates, working closely with them and independently. Having the classmates to support each other and of course to complain a little bit ;)
My study time at Technigo was from January to June 2023. In November 2023 I got an internship as a developer and now in January 2024 I got a full time job (different place than my internship) [so probably would have got it even without doing the internship].
As I was working full time (office job) during my bootcamp, it was quite challenging to be a perfect student. However, I decided that "it's better to be the worst one among the best ones, instead of not knowing anything". I felt like I needed to go back to the most of things after the Bootcamp. Which I did, and I now I feel confident about my skills within these topics. I also believe that topics that Technigo's bootcamp covers are definitely enough to get a job as a developer.
Just everyone applying should remember that even the best school will not guarantee you become a good coder. You have to code a lot on your own to achieve great results. But Technigo was a great way to start coding, get routines and learn about tools, and to get excited about coding. I think it was definitely worth the money, the time and even some stress I encountered during that time.
If I met myself in November 2022 (when I came across the bootcamp first) I would enrol myself again and maaaaybe just asked at my work place about possibility to work 85% instead of 100% ;) as that was really hardcore to work 40h and and then study 25h a week.- 20Reviews1CourseCentriq Training is an IT technology training firm in Kansas City, Missouri that hosts two, 14-week training programs: a Full Stack Coding program and the Cl... This section is just so that you can gauge if what I wrote below applies to your situation. I learned programming mostly on my own and only became a Codecool student because I found I needed help in getting a job. I also followed the courses of another company (Scoala Informala de IT <- would not recommend), but this was after I had a decent understanding of the Java programming language. I started learning Java at about 32 years old, and I joined Codecool when I was 36. I finished their courses in 8 months and got hired about 2 months after I finished.
The good:
- You will be surrounded by a community of people willing to help you learn how to code. I'm not talking here about the mentors necessarily (though they will definitely help you... if you set your shame aside and ACTUALLY GO ASK THEM), but about the other students.
- The curriculum is decent and, based on what I heard, it somehow got better AND shorter.
- The job guarantee, although not a guarantee per se (more about that in the next section), is real. If your attitude is not that of a jackass, you will get hired through them. This was the main selling point for me, because even though you can indeed learn to program from Udemi, that doesn't mean anyone will actually hire you.
- You will also learn how to hold presentations for your projects, a skill that, from recent experience, seems to be just as important as writing code.
The bad:
- The curriculum is a roller coaster ride to go through for somebody with no experience in programming. As people have probably already told you if you're planning on becoming a student, the course is a full time job, and you will most likely not be able to also work for the majority of the courses duration.
- Some of the mentors attitude towards mastery based learning can degrade to "figure it out yourself" without them leading you to the right way of doing things. This statement needs more clarification, as for somebody who hasn't programmed before it probably means that the mentor should be there to help with their the majority of their problems. This is not the case though because learning how to research and troubleshoot are also things that students need to learn. I'm talking about stamping out bad solutions that would make your potential employer shake their head in disagreement if they read the code.
- The HR/marketing team will sugarcoat the contract terms heavily. Now I don't blame them, in fact I'd do the same if I were them, however I still want to point it out. If you read the contract though you will know exactly what you're getting into. The terms are not for the faint of heart. If you won't read them, you'll grieve about how horrible the service is. Either way, it's on you. For example you're not actually guaranteed a job, you're guaranteed 6 interviews, but if needed the number of interviews you're allowed to take can be increased (the way I read this paragraph from the contract is that if you're a decent human being they will help you get hired. If not, they'll provide the 6 interviews and then "bye bye". And also it helps protect against abusers who will wait for a year and not have to pay for the course. Bottom line, read the contract).- 6Reviews2CoursesPower Learn Academy is a tech training provider based in Missouri offering 12-week, full-time, hybrid bootcamps geared towards helping students successfully ... I was extremely lucky to have had such a fantastic instructor, Preston Wallace, and mentor, Jean Leconte. After I completed the program, Laura McClernon worked tirelessly to assist me in finding a job. I couldn't have done it without their expert assistance. I would recommend this course to anyone who feels stuck in life and has no idea how to escape. I had little direction in life beforehand. I am accustomed to learning on my own, but was struggling to make time for self-improvement. I needed to make an investment in my future and have a structured curriculum; I was consumed with just living day to day, surviving the daily grind, and worked long hours at low pay to provide for my family. Now, thanks to Fullstack, I can escape that cycle and improve my circumstances for myself and my family. Says: GenSpark is Winning... A Sure-fire Way into Your Tech Career!

Let me first say that when I first found out about GenSpark that I was impressed with the way that they were positioned to help both tech companies looking to hire new employees, and students or others looking to make a career switch into the IT field. I was in my second to last course before finishing my web development certification at CSU Global, and while they had told us that we would be able to get a job as an entry level developer, because I was inexperienced and that's one of the main factors that employers look at when hiring new employees, it was really scary and unnerving (borderline hopeless) thinking about the fight ahead of me to get into a new career. That said, I saw GenSpark as an opportunity for all 3 of us; them, their partners, and myself to win without all of the worry and headache, so I took a chance and said, "Let's make this happen," and jumped on with them.
Since I have been training in the Mainframe cohort with GenSpark I can tell you that 2 things have stood out to me. The first thing is, that GenSpark is not playing. They have the connections that they say that they have, and they will get you trained... And then paid. The second thing is that the courses are JAM PACKED with a TON of learning, so be in "NOT EVEN PLAYING" mode from square one or be prepared to get your feelings hurt. (even though they will try to make sure that you don't...)
Now that this is out of the way, "going well" has got to be the understatement of the year! I adore GenSpark and everything is moving right along as planned. The support is exactly the way it should be. It doesn't matter if your computer is updating and you were unable to check in, or you need a miracle worker to fix something more personal or technically impossible, they are "answer you right back and let's get that fixed for you" PERFECT. And that's the only way I would describe them. The training had me triaged at first and trying to catch up for a minute, but only because I didn't know what to expect and it kind of shocked me at first, not because it's impossible.
Bottom line, I really appreciate what GenSpark is doing, and whether it's the way that they are positioned to help companies and HR teams (which, according to this study
(Links to an external site.) that shows that 97% of employers are planning to increase their investments in recruiting technology, only proves that they are obviously unhappy...) students, recent graduates, and career changers, (who, when you consider the fact that relevant job experience is one of the main drivers for manager looking to fill a position, and the fact that 97% of graduates
(Links to an external site.) feel like they will need on-the-job training to further their careers after graduation, you could basically say that they are in a horrible position without the help...) or dreamers like me that are making progress towards even bigger dreams down the road and have plans that may end up making a big impact because of their ambition, whether it be within a company or in the evolution of IT itself... I believe that GenSpark is playing a major role and at the frontier of everything that is good in the hiring world. I am in my last week of training, and they had us set up with one of their big tech company partner before we even signed on, so I give them five stars! BRAVO! and THANKS GENSPARK!

From the first class, I felt embraced by a team and a community that values every individual’s unique background. It’s remarkable how CTD makes everyone feel at home regardless of their past experiences, fostering an environment where every success is celebrated and every challenge is met with collective support. With their wealth of real-world expertise, the instructors and mentors break down complex coding concepts into manageable lessons that are as engaging as they are informative. Their genuine commitment to each student’s growth ensures that learning is not only effective but also fun and transformative, making the journey into tech both inspiring and accessible.
Throughout my time at Code The Dream, the curriculum offered a perfect balance of theoretical learning and practical, hands-on projects that mirror real-world tech challenges. The inclusive culture of CTD meant that every question was welcomed and every innovative idea had a place to grow. With readily available mentorship and a collaborative network of peers, I found that even the toughest coding hurdles were surmountable. This boot camp is not just about acquiring technical skills—it’s about becoming part of a vibrant, diverse community that champions growth, supports each other, and celebrates every milestone along the way. The experience has been both empowering and eye-opening, proving that with the right support system, any barrier in tech can be overcome. - 2Reviews1CourseSan Diego Global Knowledge University offers a 6-month, online, part-time Full Stack Web Development course that is fully accredited. They share a lot of information, give real world examples and put a bit of themselves into each class. After graduation, Fullstack does offer resume and interview assistance. You will learn a lot of really good and useful tools and information.
I was working a full-time 40+ hour job while doing this online part-time bootcamp and wasn't able to do any school work while at my full-time job. Because of this I found it very difficult to keep up with the course work. They give you a lot of great information but it comes fast and it doesn't stop. I like to compare it to a speeding train and you're holding on but the train doesn't stop, it keeps flying down the track. If I fell behind, it was nearly impossible for me to catch up. I inquired about extra help but was denied and told that the 20 minutes of office hours, every 2 weeks, was enough (it wasn't). I understand they are revamping the process and offering longer office hours, so maybe that will help. I reached out to the Student Success Manager (SSM) but it seems as though they don't care if you're succeeding, just if you're failing or not. Except for the handful of quizzes in the beginning, I failed every test and yet some how I passed and graduated. It seemed that most of my cohort classmates didn't have a job or had a part-time job or a job where they could do class work when they were at their jobs. If one of those options is your situation, I say go for it, but if you are in my situation, it's going to be really difficult. It was for me anyway.
I think the ultimate success of this bootcamp is if I can get a job in the field of study. I graduated a couple weeks ago and still job hunting, so I can't really say if the bootcamp was a success or not. Working a part-time job while working a full-time job feels like 2 full-time jobs, so before you sign-up, think about your situation carefully and whether you have the time and energy to keep up with the pace for 6 months.
