LearningFuze is a coding bootcamp that offers full-time and part-time web development and data science bootcamps in-person at their Irvine, California campus and online. In the Web Development bootcamp, students learn full stack front and back end development. The curriculum covers HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, Typescript, PostgreSQL, React, Git/GitHub, Command Line, Node.JS, and Bootstrap. Students will participate in two hackathons and build a final project during the bootcamp.
In the data science bootcamp, students learn data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum covers Python, statistical analysis, unsupervised and supervised ML models, Pandas, SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, natural language processing, Computer Vision, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Big Data Spark, classification and regression.
In the part-time UI/UX design bootcamp, students learn how to translate end-user needs into intuitive design and gain a strong mastery of the tools used by professionals. The curriculum covers user research, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping, paper prototyping, foundations of interaction design, typography, branding, HTML, CSS, and design tools like Figma. Students build a full portfolio of projects completed during the bootcamp.
The web development and data science bootcamps don't require a degree or professional experience, but require that students have a dedication to learning and making a full-time commitment. The full immersion web development and data science programs require 2-week prep classes to be completed before applying to the course, plus formalized 4-week post-curriculum career services programming.
Bootcamp students receive lifetime career services and 1:1 career coaching. After graduation, students are admitted into the alumni network and the included lifetime job-search assistance.

It starts with the free prep-course, that not only prepares you for the course, but also gives you a sample of the instruction style at LearningFuze.
LearningFuze is a live virtual (or in-person in California) classroom, meaning that I had two instructors that are there to answer questions and provide tips, help, and support as I went through the exercises. Once the class is over for the day there are tutors that are available to help with assignments or to provide more clarification on the material.
The course material is great but doesn’t hold your hand through everything. It instead highlights using official documentation, emulating how you would learn once you’re in the workforce and having to learn a new language or library. You are not only learning how to code but learning how to learn to code. The program can be demanding and difficult, but completely doable with the support of the instructors and tutors.
Career services start during the course and continue once you’ve left the classroom. There are helpful webinars, tips, discussions, reviews, mock interviews, and more. If you put the time in and use all resources available, you’ll be well on your way to finding your first job. Weekly check-ins and discussions help keep you on track during the job search. While a job is not guaranteed, you are given more than enough resources and assistance to help you get interviews and that eventual first placement.
Would highly recommend to anyone who is serious about learning web development.

It’s not a place for hand-holding and cuddling. You’ve got to put in the work. If you’re looking for a place to grow with people who treat you like a human being because they understand just how tough the process can be on you, then, LearningFuze is the right place for you. It will not allow you live by copying and pasting other people’s work or have answers handed to you in every situation. You do learn by doing but you’re also giving practice challenges that test your abilities to problem solve and to keep learning within and outside the classroom, giving you the necessary nudge out of your comfort zone. The job search is very similar to the in-class training. You will be armed with skills and prepared for the job search but you still have to apply to the jobs and go through the interviews as you’ll come to realize that you’re in competition with quite a number of software developers too. The best part, all the learnings and skill training are things you need in the real world and remain relevant even after landing a job. However, with LearningFuze even the instructors can be a shoulder to cry on, ever positive, ever encouraging, they go above the call of duty as it is with all the LearningFuze staff I have encountered. Cass is relentlessly prepping you for interviews, TJ gives awesome presentations about networking and solidifying your online presence and various other important topics every other week. This team attacks becoming a developer from every angle. Hackathons, projects, a portfolio. I couldn't recommend it more. Also I've just made a lot of friends and valuable connections. Not to mention how this team seamlessly transitioned to online 4 weeks into the course due to COVID19, they gave my cohort an extra week to help alleviate any lost learning during the transition, and let us take textbooks and monitors home to aid in our workflow.
