Hyperion Dev, was one of my favourite bootcamps and I'm planning to do the data science course next. I was doing the Software Engineering Course and the curriculum felt well structured and I never felt lost with the course material. When I needed help there was always a mentor that could help me figure out the problem if the friendly students/mentors in Discord chat didn't help me already. 

Overall I would reccommend this to any friends that want to change their career, or just people that want to learn more about programming. I've seen them improve and listen to feedback by students every day in my 6 month coding journey. Read less

Thus far I have had a great FIRST experience doing a course online. The things that stand out for me is the detailed course material on challenging tasks, the check-in calls you can schedule with your mentor which made it great to bounce task uncertainties/struggles off them and also the informative feedback on tasks not only giving you feedback but also giving alternative solutions to a specific problem. I would suggest anyone interested in either changing or progressing their career in software development to enrol in the software development bootcamp @HyperionDev. Suggestions would be to review and provide feedback on tasks closer to the day of submitting a task and including more task specific examples in a screen recording format which will be of much help. Compared to all other existing online data bootcamps, this course has the highest quality material. They organised the content into three major sections. There are several well-organized instructions and exercises. Students will be able to assimilate all the practises since they are well-integrated and continually refer back to earlier abilities. The most important aspect of the training, feedbacks are rapid and useful.

I also enjoy the method that displays your progress according to your plan. You are always aware of where you should be. The league table versus fellow students is also an excellent method to generate some constructive peer pressure.

In conclusion, the training is very organised. It is an excellent "boot camp" for those who wish to study Python and statistics, opening the door to data analysis in the future. Read less

The mentors were helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.  They were punctual during code review sessions and I was never kept waiting. Support staff were friendly and helpful but some requests I put through took them quite a while to respond to. Course content covers a wide variety of areas which was nice, but some topics are covered too vaguely and without enough examples and deep enough explanations to grapple effectively with the task. While this was only the case with some tasks it did at times make it hard to progress. Average completion times on the dashboard do not give an accurate depiction of how long each task should take which makes it hard to effectively plan your time and easy to fall behind if you get stuck on a problem. The student champion system which allows past students to help current ones was a good idea and it proved to be a valuable support resource. The variety of different tasks allowed me to practice implementing my newly learned skills in different scenarios which allowed me to consistently improve over time. Overall this course provided me with many new skills and boosted my confidence as a developer. There are however several key areas that could be improved upon. Read less

After doing Much research on how to start my coding journey  to give me the best chance of success, there eventually was no contest as Hyperion Dev suited all my needs Having an online study option while still having a mentor to guide me is a tremendous help.
There curriculum also was structured with the starting points of what one really needed to know, basic understanding, object-oriented and database.
But more importantly, the support from the institution themes selves was always great They reply one time, and always tried to help to accommodate, especially when i needed it

I started my journey with HyperionDev knowing absolutely nothing about coding. The course got me coding in no time with their approach to mastering the essential skills to become a web developer. The real world projects really helped in bringing all the different pieces of the puzzle together. Coding is not easy but HyperionDev's methodical approach will clear a lot of the confusion a self starter would face going it his/her own way.  The estimated completion dates also push you to complete projects and tasks and keeps you accountable. The support team and mentors are extremely helpful and patient when it comes to questions and enquiries. The bootcamp teaches all the necessary concepts needed to grow yourself into a successful web dev. There were problems in the beginning with not enough reviewers for 1 on 1 calls but that has been sorted out and it's easier to get calls with reviewers. It's a trap! 
I generally don't leave reviews, but here, I feel that I'd like to, only in order to prevent more people from falling into this trap, and having their money go to waste. 
This course was a pure waste of money. I applied for the Full Stack Web development course, but not long after the initial trial, I was left with hardly any support whatsoever from any of the tutors. I struggled on my own through the material for months on end, and even had to pay extra to extend in order to buy more time to keep up. When I had a question or needed help and tried to reach the tutors, most times there was no answer. This is no exaggeration. There was a total lack of support that only started getting more better around more than a year (!) after I started, by which I had not much motivation to continue.  They also blocked all access to the course materials, once my course finishing date had been reached, despite their original promise that all course material could be accessed at any future point. 
Besides, their course material was very poorly written, and a lot was left to the student to decipher on their own. Heavily based on external research, which was often left at the students' discretion.
In addition, when I did manage to make a meeting with a tutor to go through a problem, most of the time they didn't know how to help and had to get back to me, or otherwise used the session to try out different ideas and play around, to see what might work. They were clearly inexperienced and unfortunately this was a complete waste of money. 
Do yourself a favour and DON'T take this course. Read less

My experience at HyperionDev has been the best so far since we get to have mentors that have been very supportive. From the beginning, they guided me and I felt like giving up at times but the support system was so wonderful because they checked to see why I was falling behind. After that, you can participate in coding nights where you can showcase your skills and learn a lot more. Last but not least, whenever we need feedback or support regarding submissions, they are always there to help. Read less

I am currently enrolled in one of HyperionDev's courses. The institution delivers top quality support services to help you to choose the right course for you, plus an Admission Consultant will assist you in your enrollment process. These consultant are hands on and makes sure you have support every step of the way. 

The way the course is structured makes it much easier to learn a lot of information fast, as it is very effective. The mentors that reviews your code deliver in detail information on how you can improve and provides ample amounts of motivation and support to carry you through the course. 

There are only small improvements I would suggest. The Hyperion website seemed to have a bug on the registration page that used (Fundamentals of Computer Science). Which made it a bit uncomfortable to register, was it not for the Admission Consultants. Lastly, when I submit my code most of the time it takes quite long before a Mentor reviews it, sometimes even weeks. This causes me to make the same mistake in other tasks without knowing, before a receive a review. I do understand however that the mentors are under tremendous pressure to review many student's work. 

Nonetheless, I would recommend HyperionDev to everyone I know. I have a lot of fun learning and appreciate the amazing support. Read less
