I recently completed the Cyber Security bootcamp with HyperionDev and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The course structure was excellent and took me from my very basic level of Excel programming to being confident in working with Python and HTML. The course then progressed to Linux and databasing, before covering cyber security topics such as penetration testing, ciphers and code injection.I found the programme to be really well designed, with clear modules that introduce each topic followed by practical 'Capstone' projects which pulled everything together and really tested your understanding. This hands-on approach made a huge difference to my confidence and ability to apply what I learned.The mentorship support was another standout feature. Mentors were always available to jump on a call and talk through any topics I was unsure about. My experience with them was consistently positive—they were extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed.Finally, the careers support team were outstanding. They worked closely with me to completely rewrite my CV and cover letters, and thanks to their guidance I’ve already secured two job interviews.Overall, HyperionDev provided an excellent learning experience with strong technical training, fantastic support, and real career impact. I took an online course at HyperionDev since they didn't have a campus near me😅. As a person who is used to traditional based educational environment, it's kind of a tricky transition if you haven't done self pace education. Which Hyperion helped a lot on my on boarding for the bootcamp from their student support team. I took a Software Engineering course, one thing I did preference on their feedback query is to implement more visual (video base) explaining on each topic, and they accommodated me with it (they should add more dept if I'm honest😅). The mentors are soo understanding and explain parts you don't understand to a tea and their student support is spot on😭 I can't tell you how much I'm grateful for how they were so accommodating ang helpful on my journey. They also do weekly live tech talks to inspire upcoming tech savy people and tech on what's the latest tech trends and how to break into the industry. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to study at HyperionDev. The mentors are incredibly approachable and the learning system is intuitive, making the whole experience feel seamless. I have had a great learning experience with HyperionDev, they have a great set up and in all my learning experiences this has been the best one thus far. The only thing I'd say needs improvement is the dashboard experience, it happened with me personally so I speak from a personal capacity, my dashboard would unavailable for months at a time and it would kick me out three or four days after each payment I made, minus that issue I had Hyperion is definitely the place to be when it comes to learning, very professional and very helpful staff. I have been doing full stack web and software engineering with hyperiondev. It has been an amazing experience as I managed to learn a lot of key concepts to a being a full stack developer. They are eager to assists, weekly and bi monthly check-ins. The course work is easy to read and they do provide more links to resource work and information for better develplopment understanding. Their codes are a great mix of complexity and linked to unpacking industry standards to the coding world. I am currently enrolled on the Data Science bootcamp at HyperionDev, and it is a rewarding and practical learning experience. Coming into the course with limited background in data science, I found the structured curriculum and one-on-one mentor support extremely helpful in building both confidence and competence.Pros:

• Project-Based Learning: The hands-on approach with real coding projects, including capstone tasks like building data models and working with pandas, was great for applying concepts immediately.
• Mentor Feedback: My mentors are very responsive and give clear, actionable feedback on my code. This personalized attention makes a huge difference in helping me improve.
• Flexibility: The course is self-paced, which allowed me to manage learning around my other commitments.

Cons:

• Content Clarity: A few tasks could benefit from clearer instructions or more detailed examples, especially for complex topics like python, like maybe have a few videos for beginners to watch before attempting a certain task,
• Platform Issues: Occasionally, the platform was a bit buggy or slow, which interrupted the flow of study.

Conclusion:HyperionDev is a strong choice for beginners or career switchers interested in data science. While there’s room for improvement in the content delivery and platform stability, I am enjoying the course and now I am equipped with a solid foundation in Python, data analysis, and problem-solving. I enrolled in the Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp, and I am pleased with my decision to choose HyperionDev. As someone from a non-technical background, I found the bootcamp quite challenging, but it is definitely worth it if you persevere. The syllabus is well-structured, progressing from foundational concepts to intermediate and more complex projects. The mentors are always ready to assist and provide deeper insights in areas that may be difficult to grasp.

Please note that the course material is provided in PDF format rather than video, but this is not a drawback. The material is comprehensive, easy to follow, and supported by examples. 

Personally, I found that some of the examples in Level 3 would have been clearer with video explanations, as the concepts were somewhat tricky. However, after consulting with the mentors, I was able to get back on track. 

The graduation program was an added bonus that pleasantly surprised me; it is thorough and well-designed. I highly recommend HyperionDev to anyone looking to kickstart their career in tech. Read less
