Insightful Fun Quick
This online class was informative at a pace that suited my schedule and needs. Personally, I am a visual learner, so the slides and additional links were helpful as a reference once the class was over. It was great having a guest lecturer from Facebook as well as opportunities to attend related events both in person and online. Good, not great
Teachers are really good, friendly, and very helpful. The courses gives you an okay understanding of what a product manager does. However, if you are looking to get into product management without any previous experience it might not be the best idea. Excellent and Caring Staff
BrainStation overall was an amazing experience that really shined through the quality of instructors and staff, and their willingness to help their students. I was very fortunate to receive teachers and the extended career team who cared so much about our success. However I feel the experience could be variable for its students if they were in a different location with a different set of instructors. I feel this could be amended with a stronger curriculum, and a focus on the entirety of the development process from creating to deployment. I felt the final weeks of the program was more rushed on teaching how to deploy a site and the backend program could have been more developed. However i understand the rushed nature of the bootcamp and as a student and in any future career you need the initiative to supplement the parts that are missing. An intensive bootcamps with great community
I participated in an intensive full-time UX Design bootcamp. For the duration of the 3-month program, we were challenged significantly and had to put our personal lives on hold. The first week was a bit concerning since we were placed into groups and meant to create an app concept in 1 week (a sprint) with little guidance. It turns out that it was meant to challenge us and take us through a mini version of the entire program in 1 week, and we would eventually learn how to do things the right way later in the program. The UX Design bootcamp is very fast-paced with consistent weekly project deadlines, so it will take some time to get used to this.
Our instructors and TAs were very supportive and always happy to help throughout the program. I attribute a good amount of my success to my one-on-one time with them because they really helped me to understand some of the material (if you need help, reach out to them). Their grading felt very nitpicky at times, but it's only meant to help us improve as designers, so I wouldn't take it personally.
The career services team is also very happy to answer any questions and support us. I appreciated their availability and encouragement during and after the bootcamp experience. Ultimately, finding a job is a feat in itself and may require a lot of time/effort after bootcamp. Great way to upskill.
This course was a great way to upskill yourself if you have some experience, or looking to continue your learning. I found some classmates who had no expertise struggled with MySQL understanding. It is designed for beginners but some of the advanced ideas can be hard to understand. Great Online UX Bootcamp
I had a great experience learning at BrainStation. It has a comprehensive curriculum and the educators & TA's were engaging and supportive throughout the whole process.
It started out slow in the first 2 weeks, but quickly became rigorous with many hands-on projects that built up my skills quickly. There were lectures as well as workshops during class, and on top of that, you'll work on a relevant project for every unit, and a final capstone project. There was also an industry hackathon, as well as career support such as resume writing and LinkedIn profile set up. They also support you post-bootcamp with job search.

Great experience! I wanted to start on a design path, put all my creative skills to work! There's a lot to cover in such a short time, you'll definitely need to keep finding resources to learn more, but the classes were very helpful in building fundamental knowledge. I'm more confident now, though I know there's a lot of hard work ahead. I really enjoy the actual UX work, so I'm pretty excited to continue.
