    Nucamp Experience

I liked the lessons and the workshops. There's a lot of information to obtain and it can seem overwhelming, but the instructors are really good at helping you stay on track and understand the lessons a bit better. I would like to have more live interactions with the instructors in the near future, because it was a little hard to follow and thoroughly understand the video lessons. I would also love more hands-on learning. I enjoyed my time though.

Nucamp has very knowledgeable, professional, and polite instructors/staff that are very concerned with students success. The course is nice and short, and very good, and inexpensive.

It's a course to take when you currently have a job

You only have to attend class on Saturday mornings, so you can provide your own structure to the week. I like the pace of Bootcamp. It keeps moving along, but I never feel like I'm falling behind. There are a lot of resources provided for self-study as well, so you're able to instantly add to what you learn.

Great Bootcamp for First Time Coders

I chose Nucamp after hearing from a friend how good it was. I was not let down. Going into the HTML, CSS, and Javascript with almost no previous knowledge, I was able to learn the fundamentals, and now feel MUCH more comfortable looking at code! I liked the code challenges, and the way they help you to use other methods to find solutions to extra problems.

    HTML, CSS, Javascript

I chose NuCamp because of its price, and the course itself is very informative. Hopefully, I can take what I learned and create original documents and programs for my portfolio.

I chose Nucamp for two reasons: cost and in-person class. Nucamp is the least expensive compared to other in-person bootcamps. However, due to COVID-19, the in-person classes were replaced by Zoom meetings every Saturday which I was not sure if I was going to like. Although the setting was not ideal, it did not take away from the experience - the instructor was very helpful and very knowledgeable and was willing to help as much as he could. Kudos to David!

    Nucamp web fundamentals

I chose Nucamp for the price and because it seemed that Nucamp used actual instructors in the web development field as instructors. This was not the case for my locally run Bootcamp, which seems to be just teachers that may know the course materials but not have too much insight into what really goes on in the field.

    Worth a try

The price and the ability to work and attend the bootcamp are its strength and while I chose to attend.
The instructor was very knowledgeable, approachable and did a better job of explaining the content than the video lessons. You have to visit other 3rd party resources to re-review the content in the lessons and practice it to understand it. I felt as if I understood the content at first and then had to go through all of the
video lessons again several times as the information w...

Nucamp is an affordable way to learn code if you are self motivated. The instructors and classmates are a great support system to help answer questions, collaborate with and hold you accountable to staying on track. The instructor provided lots of work field experience and example os interview questions for those interested in making a career change.
