I love Nucamp's philosophies, values, and commitment to making tech accessible to all. Not only is it affordable and teaches a very marketable tech stack, but Nucamp is always reevaluating their curriculum, process, and system to ensure it is if the highest quality, while staying current with market trends. Being online during COVID has allowed Nucamp to help people like me who need to fund a new career in this pandemic world. I look forward to breaking into the industry upon graduation,...

    Great Program for the Price!

I chose Nucamp for the program's flexibility to schedule my learning during the week and the structure of the Saturday workshops. My instructor was knowledgeable and helpful. I'm excited about my progress during the class and the tools provided to advance my skills. This is a phenomenal option, especially when you are on a tight budget.

    Very Good

Very rigorous! you will learn a lot and the resources are near-infinite. The key is to create plenty of time for learning and absorbing all the information.

    Web-Fundamentals Course

I choose Nu Camp because it gives me the time and flexibility to work on learning a new field of work. It has been very informational and challenging in the best way possible. I feel more accomplished then when I was searching the web for ways to self-teach myself because of the additional resources and help form a teacher.

    Web Development Fundamentals

The best part of the Web Development Fundamentals was my dedicated instructor. She was knowledgeable, available when I needed help, patient in her explanations to improve my understanding.

    Journey of a Rusty Coder

I love that the course was at my own pace on my own time. I love that if I needed help there's a channel with my cohort and my specific class so there's more than one avenue for seeking help. But what I really like is the way everything was broken down into smaller chunks. There are still things I need to revisit but......overall I have a better understanding of coding than i did when I started the camp.

    Great value for the dollar

I like the bottom rung price and the flexibility of the program. Something comes up? K. Whatever, just push it back for a little bit of extra dough. Still more affordable than the other bootcamps and you're still going to get a ton of useful resources to hang on to for later. The money is worth the time investment alone. It might take weeks or months longer than this bootcamp to pick through the web to find all these resources they set you up with in a nice neat package. 💯

Used class to spread anti-vaxxer propaganda

Instructors used the class to spread anti-vaxxer propaganda, starting a heated discussion.
This was supposed to be a coding workshop, and a discussion like this does not create a positive learning environment.
Esp. if the instructor displays ignorance towards scientific research and further instigates the discussion instead of resolving it.

I expect instructors to be professional and objective and help students progress in their learning.

Hello, you are absolutely right that this conversation had no place during the coding workshop. We would need your help to follow-up on the incident. Could you please email studentadmin@nucamp.co with additional details? Alternatively you could file a code of conduct report - the link is listed in your course. The code of conduct working group would investigate and take all the necessary actions.
Very sorry for this experience and looking forward to investigate further with your help.

    Review of Nucamp

After looking at many bootcamps, and trying one and leaving, I came across Nucamp. First came here because of the price point of the bootcamp and then stayed because of the instructor and the content. The way the bootcamp is set up with the lecture, videos, and the instructor led workshops kept me engaged and wanting to learn more. So glad I found Nucamp!
