About
Nucamp is a part-time, 22-week full stack web and mobile development bootcamp in underserved communities across the U.S. and online. Nucamp offers a hybrid learning experience where students learn online during the week, and meet in-person with their instructor and classmates on the weekends. Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education affordable with the low cost of online learning paired with the motivation and support offered by in-person bootcamps. Nucamp also offers a 4-week introduction bootcamp teaching the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as a 17-week front end web and mobile development bootcamp.
There are up to 12 students per class, and one dedicated instructor. Students learn languages such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, NodeJS, React, React Native, and MongoDB. Students will work in smaller teams of two to four to collaborate throughout the course and receive important feedback. By the end of the program, students will be capable of taking a project from its inception to developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and move it to a large-scale implementation.
Admission is open to all. To apply for the bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

- Front End Web + Mobile Development- 12/14/2020I've been teaching myself how to code for the past 6 months but I got to a point where I needed some direction and accountability. Nucamp perfectly provides that. I just finished the Bootstrap module and I'm very satisfied with it. I would say though that some people might think that this is an "easy" bootcamp. I believe that learning a new trade is never easy and that with this bootcamp you get what you put into it.

- Positive Experience | Got Hired Half Way Through- 12/8/2020I enjoyed the weekly self-pacing because it allowed me the flexibility to finish my course while still working a full-time job. Then when I finished, it was easy for me to just start searching for jobs! I feel as if NuCamp helped me take that extra step I couldn't take from my self-teaching.
- Software Development Fundamentals- 12/8/2020Easy-access, on-your-own-time-learning, knowledgeable teachers, course structure is set up for success and all at an affordable price. I really enjoyed how the teacher knew what he was talking about and the challenges plus curriculum really helped me understand what software development is all about! Can't wait to start NUCAMP's full-stack development course next!
- Web Development Fundamentals- 12/8/2020Wes • First Sergeant, USAF • Student • Verified via LinkedInNuCamp was a great choice. Honestly, I was planning on transitioning to military retirement in a few years as a JROTC instructor but made a decision to try something cyber related that's outside of my current cyber communications experience. Web development (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) was my choice. As previously stated, I'm a cyber communications Airman in the USAF by trade, but my I only know layer 1 communications (outside/inside plant cable and antenna systems). I saw NuCamp advertised on Facebook, thb, and decided to look into it. The fundamentals (intro) class was affordable and the reviews for it are pretty good. What I liked most about it was my instructor, Drew Hackelman. He was patient with newer students, like myself, who knew nothing about HTML/CSS/JavaScript and he took the time to help us out whenever needed. Although challenging to newbies, it provided a foundation and a way forward in pursuit if this profession.
