Nucamp Reviews
- My coding review- 4/2/2022I think Nucamp was an excellent coding place, for anyone who's curious of coding. The teachers and students were very respectful and helpful towards others. If you think this is the right option for you? Then I'll say yes, it is! You can learn so much within just four weeks. The program itself is a lot of fun!
- Full Stack Web Development Course- 3/21/2022GM • Student • Course: Full Stack Web and Mobile Application Development • Campus: Hybrid (Online & In-person) • Verified via GitHubI want to pursue a career in coding so I've tried learning as much as I can from free online resources. It was alright doing it the free way but it was too time consuming to look up what I need whenever I'm stuck on something. So, I didn't like how slow my progress was because I know I could do more if I had the right kind of help. I needed a structured program with workshops to help me monitor my progress and stay on track. So, I looked for bootcamps. The ones I found before Nucamp have a hefty price tag and I didn't want to make that huge financial commitment which will impact my family's quality of life. Then I started noticing Nucamp's ads on social media. At first I thought their programs were too good to be true because they're offering them for much less than their competitors.I checked out their programs, saw what other people said about them. What they offer allows me to study any time of day and attend the weekly workshops every Saturday. So, that was a big plus because my family and I won't have to make drastic adjustments to our schedules. So, I signed up and now after earning my first certificate from them, I've made a lot of progress and it doesn't feel stressful. I haven't had to follow search results that lead to dead ends because the study materials are very clear and informative. Plus the instructor and the chat group are helpful, too, when we do our coding exercises. Now I have more tools at my disposal, know how to use them and how to navigate through their documentation. That’s good prep in my book. Overall, the program is well worth the money.
- nucamp- 3/20/2022I enrolled in nucamp to level up my job skills for employment. It was the cheapest option with the amount of experiance you get. I do feel the coarse was sort of rushed and teachers can only talk to students and not allowed to engage in any one on ones was sort of annoying. Other than that it was good to learn and the one of the cheaper options of any bootcamps.
- Full Stack Web and Mobile development- 3/20/2022Stephan Rhodes • Verified via LinkedInNucamp is a great bootcamp with fantastic teachers! It provide great step by step lessons that one can follow and it also provides different ways in which students can learn their material. I liked how they combined both the written and video lecture into one page and also it has really good supports on slack for students who need additional help. I also liked how the teachers are also ready to help if you need a one-on-one help via zoom. One of the cheapest bootcamp with great qualities!
- Gregory J- 3/19/2022Gregory Jordan • Residential Tech • Student • Course: Full Stack Web and Mobile Application Development • Campus: Online • Verified via LinkedInI have had a great experience learning and growing at Nucamp. My instructors have challenged me and I have challenged them, it was in this manner I have been able to expand my knowledge.
- Back_End- 3/13/2022Behnam • Verified via LinkedInI was exploring which on_line courses to take and found NuCamp, enrolled, and very happy to have done so far. learned a lot and added to my experience
I fully recommended NUCAMP
- Python Bootcamp- 3/13/2022Nucamp has a cool schedule, it encompasses everything you need to start as a software developer. The tasks and challenges are fun and you practice a lot. So it is not only about theory. The instructors are cool and motivating. They care a lot for the participants and help them a lot to succeed. As for the tuition, Nucamp is unbeatable.
- Python Class- 3/12/2022Ely tran • Technical Consultant • Campus: Seattle • Verified via LinkedInI start enjoying the class so much more when instructor Carl Scozzari starts teaching. I took 3 classes at Nucamp and I believe prof. Carl is the best!!! He is very interactive, responsive, and creates a collaborative and communicative environment where all students are encouraged to actively participate. I understand Python more as well. I really like the Python class and wish I could be more committed to learning more from the class. The materials are very great and classmates are incredibly genuine and helpful.
- SQL with Python- 3/12/2022Adrian Carlson • SIS Specialist • Student • Course: Back End, SQL, and DevOps with Python • Campus: Online • Verified via LinkedInSQL with Python helped me understand how to use Python to interact with a SQL database. This is something I had always wanted to learn. I also had used API calls to other systems in the past, but learning how to create my own API endpoints on my own SQL database was a transformative experience. This course helped me connect many disconnected subjects I had learned in the past.
- Developer- 3/10/2022MArtin Young • Engineer/Developer • Verified via LinkedInI enrolled to become more acclimated to Python and how to relate it to Postgre SQL.
I'm still not up to the part in the program that involves PostgreSQL but so far the course has been terrific.
- HTML, CSS and Javascript- 2/28/2022Rebecca • Verified via LinkedInLearning how to code in Javascript is something I've always wanted to learn. I currently code in Python and know some C# and VB.NET. So learning the syntax was different for Javascript but the instructor and the course material were very helpful. Meeting every Saturday and having fellow classmates to reach out to was great as well. I definitely would recommend this course to anyone who wants to start learning HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript- 2/27/2022It was a great class that gets your feet wet in the world of web page creation.
