Through a partnership with the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline and NYC Small Business Services, Fullstack Academy’s Future Code: Diversifying the Future of Web Development in NYC program provides immersive online coding education to eligible New Yorkers free of cost. The program is designed to prepare New Yorkers with no previous professional web development experience for careers in web development at salaries of $65,000 or more. In 31-plus-weeks full-time, gain in-demand skills in Front-End Development, Back-End Development, and Computer Science as well as master HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge. No coding experience is required to apply. Future Code aims to increase the number of web developers in New York City, especially Black and Latino New Yorkers, by providing free training, career services, and connections to high-paying jobs. Eligibility Requirements: - This no-cost program is an opportunity offered by the City of New York. Applicants must meet the following criteria: - Current resident of New York City - Limited or no prior experience with the basics of coding and no paid professional web development or similar experience - Do not have a Computer Science degree and are not currently pursuing a Computer Science degree - Unemployed, or earn $50,000 or less if currently employed - Authorized to work in the United States - Meet federal selective service requirements - Fluent in English - Interested in gaining full-time employment as a web developer and are available to attend all sessions of the program - At least 18 years of age Special Notes: - Black and Latinx New Yorkers are strongly encouraged to apply - An advanced degree is not necessary to succeed in this training. Start a data analytics career in 19 weeks at no-cost with the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline’s Data Analyst Training Accelerator (DATA) program at Fullstack Academy! Offered in partnership with the NYC Department of Small Business Services, DATA aims to increase diversity in the New York City tech industry by providing no-cost tech training and career services to unemployed, underemployed, or underrepresented populations with no previous experience in data analytics and is designed to create an accessible pathway for New Yorkers in the field. This program is open to eligible New York City residents only. During the DATA program, you'll gain data analytics skills, like building compelling visuals, practical coding, data modeling, dashboard creation, Python and SQL programming, cloud platform analytics, and more. You’ll also master in-demand data analytics tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and AWS, as well as prepare for the Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification and the AWS Data Analytics Specialty Certification. The DATA curriculum, combined with our career success coaching, gives you the skills employers want and the job search support to help you launch your data analytics career. This training is an opportunity offered by the City of New York. Applicants must meet the following criteria: - Be at least 18 years of age - Be a current New York City resident - Be authorized to work in the United States - Be unemployed, or earn $45,000 or less if currently employed - Meet all selective service requirements - Have no paid professional data or marketing analyst experience - Be available for all sessions of the course, including attending in-person sessions through the duration of the course - Black, Hispanic - Latin, and members of other underrepresented populations in tech are strongly encouraged to apply.
