Overall, this bootcamp has made a great impact on my learning journey. The hands-on projects have helped solidify my understanding of the material. The live sessions are especially valuable and feel like the cherry on top, offering real-time support and clarification that are key to success.What truly makes Coding Temple stand out is the quality of the instructors. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from Yessica Sosa, Daniel Erazo, and Allan Ahmed; all of whom are very professional, well-trained, and capable of breaking down even the most complex topics. Their support and teaching styles have made a real difference.Two areas that could enhance the experience are the use of the Disco platform and the Career Department. Adding more structured content and resources to Disco would make it even more effective for self-paced learning during off hours. Additionally, I feel the Career Department could be improved, as the sessions sometimes feel unproductive and not as focused or impactful as the rest of the program. With a few adjustments, this part of the bootcamp could better match the high standards set by the instructional team.Thank you for providing such a meaningful and challenging learning experience. The instructors in the backend course were excellent. The material was explained clearly and made easy to understand, even for more complex topics. A lot of people worry about the lines of code in a literal sense when you begin to learn how to code. Coding Temple will course teach you the basics of syntax different languages, but the most important skill to learn, in my opinion, is knowing HOW to approach each problem and breaking it down into manageable chunks. Enrolling at Coding Temple was one of the best decisions I’ve made for taking my Software Engineering career to the next level.  The program is designed to take students from little or no coding background to becoming job-ready developers, and it does exactly that—efficiently and effectively.

The coursework at Coding Temple is structured to ensure students gain both fundamental and advanced coding knowledge. There was a change in the curriculum and course schedule a month into our cohort- that was an adjustment, but every module builds on the previous one, reinforcing essential skills while introducing new concepts at a manageable pace. Whether it’s front-end development, back-end programming, or mastering databases, each lesson is tailored to make sure students can apply what they learn in real-world scenarios. Coding Temple doesn’t just teach coding—it prepares students for the industry with hands-on projects, collaborative exercises, and interview preparation that ensures we graduate ready to land jobs.

The instructors are knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their students' success. Among them, one teacher stands out—Dylan Katina, who I had the privilege of learning from in the Backend Specialization. If every educator had Dylan’s passion for teaching, learning would be an incredibly fun and enriching experience for all. His ability to break down complex concepts into digestible lessons is unmatched, and his enthusiasm creates an engaging classroom environment. Dylan not only teaches code—he instills confidence, problem-solving skills, and the drive to keep pushing forward. His support made a world of difference in my journey, and I truly appreciate his impact, that will not be forgotten!

The journey at Coding Temple was fun, challenging, and rewarding. It wasn’t just about learning syntax and algorithms; it was about growth, resilience, and mastering the ability to think like a developer. Anyone looking for a coding bootcamp that will prepare them for the workforce while making the learning process enjoyable should look no further. We do get assigned a career coach that will be helping us, and I have been getting initiated to that process having just fished the bootcamp. The accessibility has been an adjustment to me, for it has not been not the same experience as working with the instructors- but if, in the end, the result is landing a job with said assistance, I'll certainly be a happy camper!   I cannot rate Job Assistance yet to its full potential, but am happy to report back once I've complete my tech-residency- so I have to give it N/A for the time being.  The field as a whole within the job market is rather competitive, so anything to help stand out from the crowd is going to be essential to landing a job fresh out of a bootcamp.  This course is just the start of a career and journey into becoming a software developer- what one does with the knowledge and connections made during the course is up to you!  I'd suggest making all the connections possible, staying close with your classmates, and continue building projects regularly to add to your portfolio to show how capable of an engineer you truly are! 

I highly recommend Coding Temple to anyone considering a career in tech, and if you’re lucky enough to have Dylan Katina as your instructor, you’re in for a phenomenal learning experience.

I came in with zero coding knowledge and left confident in building and deploying my own full-stack apps.It definitely wasn’t easy, there were moments that tested my patience and brainpower, but the instructors were always there to support me.Big shoutout to Dylan, who was incredible on the backend side and all throughout the course. He had a knack for instantly spotting what was wrong with my code and never stopped pushing me to improve. The people “supporting” you? Most of them are ex-students who didn’t land jobs either, now working back at Coding Temple. What does that tell you?

And it’s not just the vibe—it’s the structure.

You do all the work.
You promote them.
You navigate a collapsing job market.
And if you fail? They still win. You still pay.

This isn’t a pipeline into tech.
It’s a content farm fueled by desperation, disguised as opportunity.

Let me say what no one else here wants to admit out loud: Coding Temple is running a PR machine disguised as a bootcamp.

You’ll scroll through these glowing reviews and see phrases like “changed my life”, “supportive community”, or “learned so much.” Sounds wholesome, right? Ask those same reviewers one question:

Are you actually working in tech now?

Because here’s the uncomfortable truth: many of us were explicitly encouraged to leave glowing reviews—not after getting jobs, but during the bootcamp or right after finishing, when we were still broke, jobless, and holding onto hope like a security blanket.

They know how to weaponize vulnerability. They frame it like “Building In Public” but it’s just bootcamp-induced Stockholm Syndrome.

You’re told to post.
To celebrate your progress.
To keep the hype alive.
Meanwhile, behind the curtain:

The job market is a dystopian nightmare.
The instructors and job counselors? Mostly ex-students who never got jobs in the field.

This was a great bootcamp and introduction into the realm of software engineering. I had a lot of support from instructors, including them reaching out weekly to just check in and see how I was doing. It was easy to schedule one-on-one time with an instructor and get personalized help. I have learned so much since starting the course and have a better skill set to continue my learning as a software engineer. The best part was the back-end specialization with Dylan Katina. He is a great instructor and I enjoyed the real-world application of everything. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to get into Software Engineering! Read less

My name is Ashley and I am an alumni of coding temple. There are reviews that warn you aways from this institution because there is no job help, there is no support. Believe it. They give a resume temple this I found was oddly similar to one you you can get for free, and tell you to copy it but you are largely on your own.

Additionally, as having to participate in the flex program, I am supposed to have access to my materials. I don't and when I have brought this to their attention they have dodged me everytime and still have not given me access.

Go to udemy. You will save you money and learn valuable skills.  Read less

I'll say that while there is quite a lot of information to digest, I don't believe that changes based on your bootcamp.  I had a ton of support, even though I was flex-based.  I recommend this style of coursework  for organized and driven students who don't require a live setting.   If you have any doubt, I would urge you to do the live setting.    That being said, if you know this is something you are interested in learning, and are able to stay well-organized in your time, there are plenty of instructors who are willing to help you in your journey!

I liked Coding Temple. I believe there is a lot of value in their program, and that they are always working to provide more value to their students. My favorite part about the program was their instructors - my first teacher Travis and specialization teacher Dylan. Sarah was great too, but we only had her the first week of class. I loved having classmates, and I enjoyed having the option to do stuff outside of class, time permitting, with the workshops, codewars problems, and whiteboards. 

Coding Temple is hard. You have to apply yourself. I would recommend being sure that you want to do it before making the commitment, because it’s a big one. I spent some time on freecodecamp everyday a couple months before deciding to sign up for class. There will be things that really test your patience and mental strength. You will spend long hours on the computer learning complicated things. I found it to be a lot of fun, even though sometimes it can be very frustrating and/or difficult. There were days where I seriously wanted to rip my hair out. Go into it with the expectation that you will have to learn to teach yourself things and investigate. You will spend time reading documentation and troubleshooting by yourself, but you will always be able to schedule a 1-on-1 or ask your classmates for help. 

I think the front end core section of the course could have been a bit better. That was the main thing that I struggled with, and why I chose backend as my specialty. I felt like I didn’t have enough time to dive into JavaScript and React like I was able to with Python. I am happy with my decision though.  Read less

I recently completed the frontend specialization at Coding Temple and had an outstanding experience. The curriculum was well-structured, covering everything from HTML and CSS to advanced JavaScript frameworks like React. The hands-on projects made learning practical and engaging.

A highlight was Cristian Sachs, our frontend instructor. Cristian’s deep knowledge and ability to simplify complex topics made the learning process smooth. He was always available for questions and provided valuable feedback, helping us improve continuously.
