Understanding the competition and how people depend on online information to run their daily lives, it is astonishing to see the different reasons to why people use the online space! I came in with almost no knowledge of UX design process besides some transferable skills from previous job and education and...I am a recent graduate from BrainStation online UX bootcamp which lasted 12 weeks. I have to say, this was quite an experience! I came in with almost no knowledge of UX design process besides some transferable skills from previous job and education and a Coursera course under my belt. In the first 2 weeks of the bootcamp we already completed our first project to get a taste for the UX field and what to expect. Afterwards we went deeper into learning. And our great educators were able to push us to create some incredible projects within the tight time constraints. Before this bootcamp, I never thought that I would be able to complete an entire UX project within 1 week, and another within just 24 hours! Overall, I am very happy with my experience at the bootcamp, especially the teachers who were incredibly helpful and good at what they do.
As an advice for people who are considering this bootcamp, please make sure to go through a simple online course before starting the bootcamp so that you know what you are getting into. This would make your bootcamp experience much easier and be certain that you are in the right place in terms of your interests. And, make sure that you would have lots of time to dedicate to this bootcamp during the 12 weeks.
