TrueCoders is a full-stack software development Bootcamp that offers an intensive full-time 9-week schedule or a self-paced schedule. The full-time 9-week schedule is a live online course, while the self-paced version allows students the ability to take the course when it is convenient for them. The self-paced schedule is a great option for students who need to retain their full-time jobs but still want a career change. Students of either schedule have the ability to receive unlimited one-on-one support from instructors and career services.
TrueCoders offers 2 different courses: Full-Stack Software Engineering and Full-Stack Web Development. The software engineering course covers C#, .NET Core, the ASP.NET MVC framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, relational databases like SQL, WebKit-based debuggers, and basic working knowledge of networking and file permissions. The web development course covers, Node.JS, Express.JS, React.JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, relational databases like SQL, hosting web applications using Heroku and GitHub pages, FlexBox design, and Webpack bundling. TrueCoders also specializes in source control and students will receive in-depth instruction on git CLI and GitHub in either class.
TrueCoders aims to provide new coders with the tools needed to find a position in the digital job market including marketable skills, career navigation, and a support community. TrueCoders is meant for career switchers and those with no prior programming experience who wish to enter the tech industry. The application process for both classes begins by scheduling an interview online. A member of their staff will soon follow up with a call.
Before graduation, TrueCoders prepares their students for the job market by improving their resumes, helping them create networking opportunities, and hosting practice interviews. TrueCoders also focuses on communication skills and teaches students how to leverage connections they may have in the tech industry (including fellow students). After graduation, the TrueCoders placement team works with graduates to make introductions, set up interviews, coaching before interviews sending out job applications.

Great boot camp! Its a 9 week project based course. My instructor Jeremy was always there for us 1 on 1 and really took the time to break topics down so we could all understand. This course will provide you with everything to get a job in the tech industry. C# is the main language (Software Engineering Course, but they also have a web development course) but you also learn about SQL for databases, GitHub for version control and even some HTML, JS and CSS. Amazing Learning Experience
I cannot express how happy I am to have gone through True Coders. I originally had worked with C# on and off for more than a year so I had a little bit of knowledge when I joined. However, it was very clear that the course was designed for even those who have never wrote a line of code before. Despite this, I still found myself learning valuable information in the first week.

Best school to help get you going
This is probably one of the best courses out there to help you learn a skill and get work. The full time course is 9 weeks with an instructor who is always there to help out. Great bootcamp
I've got no real experience coding but I was familiar with some of the concepts (If statements and loops were used in the level editor of an old game I used to play) and some experience using Git / Github from being a Linux user.
the course mostly focused on C# but also covered MySQL, HTML, CSS, API's, ASP.NET, and touched on other things.

one thing I thought would help ease some issues totally new to this stuff is if they went over the console/terminal/command prompt and how the information it displays relates to how people are used to browsing their files and such using windows explorer or whatever file browser they use. even so, they do seem to be patient people and worked with anyone who was having trouble understanding things to help them along.
something to note is that they send you and e-mail with a little bit of prep work when you sign up. it's really just some of the easier to learn stuff that you use later on. while they do go over this stuff during the course you get a much better grasp of it if you do the prep work before hand to familiarize yourself with it. it's also fairly easy to cover it all in a few days time if you get working on it.
so signing up a week or more before the start of the bootcamp does actually give you time to better prepare yourself for the rest of the course and leaves you in a stronger position later in the course.
the job placement meetings were constantly filled with great information and strategies about how to help find and get jobs.
this sort of thing can be quite important because how employers find employees doesn't remain the same as it's always been.
I learned a lot and I never would have known how to even start what I did for my final project before.
honestly, it feels a little crazy to say that I didn't know how to code at all just over 2 months ago considering what I know I can do now.

Full Stack Software Engineering
TrueCoders has a well-designed curriculum with good instructors. In my class, Whit did a great job of not only teaching but also guiding the students who came from a broad level of prior competence. Not only did I learn a lot during the classes about C#, SQL, and full-stack development, but I now have much in the way of resources and projects to use as reference going forward. The class was offered online and that all went well - better than I could have imagined.

One of the best decisions I made!
I was really unsatisfied with my current job and was interested in pursuing programming. I quit my job in Oct 2020 and started classes two weeks later. Soooo glad I did. Michael was the best instructor for us beginners in this class, very patient, and understands the material he is teaching so well, that he is able to write and draw out the concepts for us to follow along with.
