My favorite part of the bootcamp was that our 2 instructors really took the time to ensure we understood the topics, and even offered specialized guidance and advice when we asked for it. Dont waste your time and money
I recently took a course from Brainstation Institute and was very disappointed with my experience. The material was presented in a disorganized manner and did not effectively cover the topics advertised. The material was presented in a disorganized manner and did not effectively cover the topics advertised. I strongly believe that this course not worth $2800. They only reviewed what I had learned from w3schools (a free website). Long story short, I learned up to 10 SQL statement in this class.
When I started my course, the tuition was about $2200 for the course I took (cus they told me that I have received a scholarship). I used an installment plan to afford the fee. Recently, I have received an email and for some reason they noticed that I have to pay $2800 (the original amount fee). I am still paying the fee, and I suffer every time I transfer money to them. Because I am paying money for nothing. They should pay back the money because they literally wasted my time.
I am not asking readers to stop taking course there, but I highly recommend that do your research and find a nice institute to take data-related courses. I recently took a course somewhere else, in Vancouver, for $750 and am so happy with this.
While I appreciate the effort put into the course, I believe there is significant room for improvement.

The instructors were real professionals in the field and were able to add real-world examples to the course content. We covered advanced Excel, SQL, MySQL, and Tableau, and I was able to gain some useful context as to the purposes that all of these tools serve in my organization. As a primarily qualitative UX Researcher, this course gave me a really solid foundation on which I can build my quantitative skillset further. The workload of the course was reasonable for the time frame, and there were plenty of extra opportunities provided to practice the skills covered in class. The final project gave us the opportunity to follow the data analysis process from start to finish and draw conclusions on any topic of our choice. The instructors, Veronica and Samantha, were very knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions + lend a helping hand. The eight weeks flew by quickly and I appreciated the interactive elements of the class and how they each focused on a different step in the UX design process.
By the end of the eight weeks, I had brainstormed an idea, done research via interviews, wireframed, and built out a prototype in figma. I think there's room to go a bit deeper into some of the different topics but for an eight week program, there was a lot of valuable and actionable information provided.
