YDev Academy
YDev Academy offers Full Stack Software Development (24 week), IT-Ops (20 week), Data Science (12 week), Product Management (8 week), and Design (8 week) bootcamps designed to equip Africa’s emerging workforce with in-demand technology skills. All Ydev Academy bootcamps combine online and in-person learning in Nigeria. Weekend class schedules are available.
The Full Stack Software Development bootcamp is a blended learning program with 16 weeks of instructor-led learning, assignments, and class projects, and 8 weeks of working on real-world projects with mentors. Bootcamp students will learn both back and front end development.
IT-Ops bootcamp students will learn AWS, Microsoft Azure, cloud financials, adoption and migration patterns, and data architecture styles. Upon bootcamp completion, students will be trained as cloud architects with the ability to build platform agnostic cloud based solutions for organizations.
Data Science bootcamp students will learn to use Python to analyze data from multiple sources, apply supervised and unsupervised machine learning models and algorithms, use GitHub to manage data science projects, and deploy data science solutions to build a flask app.
The Product Management bootcamp is designed for professionals with strong business and/or technical backgrounds who want to transfer into product management roles at software-based companies. The bootcamp curriculum covers product management fundamentals, the product management process, user experience fundamentals, wireframing, leadership techniques, and how to use data science and Agile systems for product management.
The Design bootcamp teaches students UI/UX design fundamentals, prototypes, wireframing, user research, and the design process, as well as design tools like Figma, Illustrator, and Whimsical. Design students will create a design system and prototypes, and build a product from scratch.
