The modules are well structured and each module is built to prepare you for a role as a data analyst. In addition to the coding part of the course, you also cover topics from analytical thinking, presentation skills to data visualisation, which are all skills that you get to use and build on throughout the course. As the course progresses you get more freedom to focus on the types of analyses you are most interested in. What I enjoy most about the course are the peer-based corrections and the corrections from experienced professionals. In these corrections, I connected with both fellow learners and experienced data scientists with a wide range of background knowledge and perspectives. I feel like this really helped me understand my projects from different points of view and helped me gain more insights that I would have otherwise missed.   Turing college was my first and only choice here in Lithuania. It surpasses most other bootcamps, no useless lectures, instead you learn from a well structured curriculum at your own pace and you gain the opportunity to interact with people who are working at industry leading companies, just ask them for advice if you hit roadblocks. The other learners also motivate and inspire as the whole atmosphere is quite serious, everyone knows that it's a big commitment to study here and the sense of community really helps. Also you don't have to repeat things you already know like in some other places where everything is rigid, here you just need to be self accountable and take what is most valuable for you, there is no limit to how fast you can finish the course.  Read less

Here learners have the opportunity to learn the latest technologies and work on serious projects, which have definitely required some sweat from me. :D

Turing College introduces us to practices that real developers have daily, such as presenting our code to a senior, reviewing peers' code, peer programming, participating in stand-ups and etc.

I value flexibility, because I’m balancing the course with a full-time job, here I can learn at my own pace and during my preferred time.

I like my batch too - my peers are friendly, supportive and fun, making our weekly stand-ups enjoyable. Also only great comments about our stand-up leaders, Lukas and Gytis, who have been so supportive, never making us feel stupid about our technical questions and offering emotional support during our moments of doubt and frustration. 

Oh and Turing College platform, community and support have been awesome, providing me with good help whenever needed.

To share a full-perspective, I'll mention a few aspects that don't fully suit me: 1) At times, I feel that the provided material is not enough for a complete beginner like me. 2) In some sprints, the deadlines are too tight for me. 

But this course is new, I feel that Turing College team is open to feedback, so hopefully these aspects will improve with each student batch and learning experience will be better.

I'm really grateful that I found my way to Turing College. It's been an amazing part of my academic journey. There are so many schools out there but Turing just feels different. It's not just about learning it's like a journey towards becoming really good at what you love. Why? Well, to begin with, at Turing I got to work on lots of different projects with different people. I went to meetings, open sessions, and all sorts of events. It was a chance to learn and improve together. 

What's really cool is that I got feedback from professionals who actually work in the data field. I never had that many experts giving me advice at my previous educational institutions! It was super helpful because I could learn from their experience and also share my own ideas.

Another great thing about Turing College is that you can learn at your own pace. You get to decide what you want to focus on and how fast you want to go. For me, I really needed to work on my public speaking and soft skills. Turing had resources just for that. They don't just teach you technical stuff - they help you to become a professional.

 There are so many good things about Turing College that I can't even list them all. You just have to experience it for yourself. One more thing I'll mention is that they offer an endorsment process that helps to land a job.

Tasks are interesting and you always get 1on1 feedback for your projects. Topics for new in this area are also very well thought out - critical basics for each area of analysis.
From time to time they organize events and organize conferences to shed light on analytics market trends.

As someone who always struggled with traditional studies and school (still have a masters in pharmacy though), I really appreciated the fact that Turing College focuses so much on the practical aspects and teaches you what you will actually use in the future working in the respective position. The community they have built is unbelievable in the sense that they found a way to keep everyone engaged to everyone's benefit. My learning style involved me just trying to do everything by myself all the time but now I can easily get help from other learners who are more advanced and encountered the issues I have. This accelerates the rate at which I can learn ridiculously. This is especially true while learning something like data analytics since its very easy to go into rabit holes while looking for answers. Everyone I've interacted was really friendly and helpful which definitely makes it easier to ask when I have any questions and I can do the asking pretty much anytime and get a response quickly thorugh discord or if an open session is running I can join that and know for sure that my question wil be answered. My story and what I gained from TC data analyst course were everything I needed. I come from a totally different field and this was an option to gain practical confidence and overall experience to get ready for work. All the details of reviewing code, getting reviewed, and getting an impact from field specialists, made all the necessary base to step into the new job role.  The other part of this is the community. After finishing and finding a job I still love to keep in touch with the TC data analytics community to stay updated on the current actuality of data.  
In general, this course made me really job-ready. I transferred from biologist to data analyst and without this experience I don't think my goal would be possible or done in a timeframe of 6 months. Read less
