Springboard is an online learning platform that prepares students for the tech industry’s most in-demand careers with comprehensive, mentor-led online programs in software engineering, data science, UI/UX design, cybersecurity, tech sales, and more. All Springboard courses are 100% online, remote, and self-paced throughout an average of 6-9 months. Springboard acts as a support system, coach, and cheerleader for working professionals who are ready to level-up or make a major career shift. Students have access to a unique community of industry mentors, thought leaders, and alumni, who are on hand to offer insights, networking opportunities, and support throughout the program and well past graduation. Every Springboard student is matched with a personal student advisor and industry mentor who guides them throughout the program through regular video calls.
To apply, applicants fill out an online form, take an aptitude test, then talk with a school representative about their background and motivations. For the data science career track a background in statistics and/or programming is required. For the UX career track, students should have academic or professional background in user design or development-oriented fields.
Before graduation, Springboard’s career services team supports students in their job search, helping prepare them for interviews and networking, and facilitates their transition into the tech industry. Springboard's programs are backed with a job guarantee.

My top three pros for this course are the 1:1 mentorship throughout, the job guarantee/career support post completion, and the general layout or build of the curriculum. Do Not Go Here! WASTE of your money, total SCAM job
I enrolled in this program thinking it would be a great opportunity. I was in the Data Analytics program, and let me tell you, all they do is give you 10 minutes of introductory videos, then they send you off to websites like datacamp, youtube, and other free sites. What a utter waste of money. Then they throw assignments you expecting you to finish them after watching your youtube videos. You get a weekly mentor that you can maybe have enough time to discuss 1 or 2 problems,...I enrolled in this program thinking it would be a great opportunity. I was on work leave due to the whole COVID situation and didn't have time to do the curriculum (this was last year around May 2020) and I get an email from Maggie. "Hi DN, I'm following-up with you from my earlier email inquiring about your progress in your Springboard course. I'd love to discuss the course with you, and see if there's any way I can be of help or support. We do have some options that may make sense to discuss going forward. If we don't hear from you within the next 3 business days, we'll go ahead and cancel your course enrollment. Let me know if you have any questions I can help with! -Maggie Zheng" WOW so this is what you get from Springboard. If the email goes to junk mail and you don't respond to her within 3 days you are out of luck and out $10,000 tuition. VERY VERY unprofessional and awful person. Before this e-mail, I literally submitted an assignment 4 days prior. She had the nerve to email me to question my attendance even after I submitted the assignment. This lady is nuts, just threatening students and then sending emails with a passive aggressive "let me know if u have any questions I can help with!" Yeah you can help me if you look in the mirror and see what kind of awful demon you are. Usually I only encounter this type of disrespect when I suspect racism is at play. Who knows? The company of course sides with her, perhaps showing their support for possible RACISM! After being treated like sanitary wipes, I decide not to continue with them anymore. Now I'm stuck with a $4,000 bill thanks to springboard. At least I'm in a real school now and they are actually teaching me stuff instead of redirecting me to datacamp. The least I can do is protect and inform those who come after me to prevent these con-artists from stealing more money from people who can easily learn more from youtube videos. You can definitely learn everything you need if you have the right template. Goto a different coding school. This is an awesome course! Colt, the instructor explained things so clearly and make the concepts easy to understand. He was a big part of my decision to choose this bootcamp. All of the support is great too! The weekly calls with my mentor were so helpful and he always did a great job at answering my questions and offering help along the way. Literally Life Changing
When I set out to make a career change during the pandemic I knew it was going to be a lot of work, as I had no previous experience in anything technical. I think Springboard was a great option because it was remote learning, and all of the assignments were organized properly. I only felt overwhelmed because I had to balance a full-time job among other things. But if you truly want this for yourself you can manage your time accordingly that works best for you. Great program with one criticism
Springboard was a great program to be in. It provided a lot of good project based learning for javascript, python, and node.js. I only have one criticism and if they were to fix it, then I'd rate it 10/10. They require students to finish practice interviews, behavioral, whiteboard, project, and technical, and only allow you 2 attempts before you're disqualified for the job guarantee. I think they should increase to to 3 or 5 attempts, which would show good faith, especially for those who...Springboard was a great program to be in. Great curriculum for career pivot

The career service from Springboard is overall very effective as well since most of the career coaches are professional technical recruiters and have been in the field for many years - I've worked with 3 career coaches, they are all very strategic in terms of resume writing and interview preparation. I was able to receive 2-3 times more interview invitations since I joined the program. The 1:1 mentorship is definitely the primary value of the program. My mentor was very supportive and knowledgeable - provide me lots of actionable feedback and advice. He really guided me down a career path that led me to an offer. I am overall very satisfied with this investment.
